Does anyone know of any books where the author uses satire? Aside from Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy and Animal farm?

Wasn't Paradise Lost supposed to be satirical in nature? It's been so long since I read it that I can't really remember much except for the beginning and Pandemonium.

Most authors of dystopic works use satire. Such books include:
The Handmaid's Tale - Margaret Atwood Nineteen Eighty-Four - George Orwell Brave New World - Aldoux Huxley
But perhaps you would find this Wikipedia category useful:

If you are looking for a satire closer to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy you should try looking at the other works of Douglas Adams such as his Dirk Gently books. Also, you may want to look at some of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series which I believe is satire. 3nodding

Mmm... I think Terry Pratchett's works are supposed to be satirical.

I recently read several sections of Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift. If satire is what you seek, you'll find it there. 3nodding
And by the way, in the future, a thread like this should probably go in Specific Book Suggestions.

Candide by Voltaire had a lot of satire in it.
