You can either go into a building, or you can catch the bees. You drag the bells onto the place where it tells you how many bells you have to use them.

`Connie You can either go into a building, or you can catch the bees. You drag the bells onto the place where it tells you how many bells you have to use them. how do you catch them? when i press Y the bees catch up to me so when i equip my net and press B they already sting me...

Yeah I've done it a few times. You run into a building and they can't follow you.

I've caught bees a few times. It's pretty good because they're worth 4,500 bells. The bad thing is that I don't remember how to get my net out at the right time to catch them...and I end up being stung... >.>; But I always try to head for buildings : D

The best tip I have to catching bees is one I found out a couple weeks ago, I caught 3 bees that day.
As soon as the hive falls, run a little way away to get some breathing room, then go into your inventory and equip your net. They'll sit there swarming around your head.
Now watch how they circle. If they go in a constant circle, they'll attack as soon as you exit your inventory and you can't grab them like that. Wait until you start to see them circle around in a strange pattern, it almost looks like a figure 8 around your head.
When they're doing the figure 8 formation, you can catch them if they're in the direction you swing the net. The best thing is to stay in your inventory and watch them to follow the pattern of when they go into that figure 8 mode.

I think when he means outrun them, he meant at a constant pace, of course when you get into a house you're safe, but I think it was more of a keep going so they stop chasing you.
