*Pyroes go off to an explosive beat as a thick, white mist spreads across the top of the ramp.*
Song: On this day I see clearly everything has come to life

*Edge walks out through the mist, hands shaking spasmically at his sides. He lowers his shades at the audience, and moves down the ramp, hands still shaking a little. He slides into the ring, still remaining on the ground for a few seconds before jumping to his feet and jumping on the turnbuckle. He looks out into the crowd, and takes his shades off, then hops down and drops his jacket through the ropes.*
Edge: You know, I think this is the first time I've actually been invited down to the ring here. normally I just come out on my own, let my 2 cents be heard, and head back. So yeah, this is a first for me. Yeah. And just salt the wounds, it's somebody I've never even heard of.
So that makes you one of those new hires, doesn't it? You, Raider, Sparks... Oh wait, that's right, I already retired Steve Sparks! Fresh off the bus, one match under his belt, and I practically chased him out of the company! The same thing's about to happen to you, but if it's any consolation, Sparks probably saved you a seat.
*He throws his microphone off stage, and the bell rings.*

*Edge quickly moves out of the way. He waits for Kevin to come out from under the bottom rope, then attempts to hit him in the face with a pair of brass knuckles he'd taken from under the ring, right in plain view of the referee.*
