Mwana trailed along the edge of the river bank, her paws hitting the ground slowly as she walked, a delicate frown on her maw. Again she had been sent away to hunt by her sisters, which she honestly felt never hunted at all. It was irritating to say that least. She was a Lady, she shouldn't have to do everything. Well it sure felt like everything!
She let out a breath, sliding her silver gaze over the river. It was very pretty. Beauty was something she was raised to appreciate and she did. And she was almost glad not to see any zebra or gazelle near by. She didn't feel like chasing after them today. "They complain about my skill level being better...but perhaps that is because they rarely try themselves," she muttered in a lady's form of a grumble, that still sounded rather composed for the average individual. She gave her head a gentle shake and continued on, her tail trailing out lightly behind her.

Large body of muscle and fur moved along the river. Just having met some rather peculiar females, he was wondering if there were some sort of pride living on this river. He had yet to reach the Pride Lands and he already made an aquiantance one too many...his brows scowled as he moved onward. There was something that was just not right. He had left Trig to find a place of his own, maybe a place to have him over once in a while to have a brotherly chat rahter than living together in that cove. It was nice, he had to admit, but it being under Trig's name somewhat urked him. That aside, it felt strange having a lion of such size and a potential threat just made it worse. He tolerated his brother, he showed no harm, in fact it was the last thing on that lion's mind. They had agreed to see each other now and again to catch up with some quality time. That was good.
THe thought of his brother was nice. It calmed him some. That was why he stayed with his brother for so long, it was the only alternative that could calm him down. Since with Trig, he had not rampaged at all. Ever since the 'Demon's Den' had disbanded, Vianzio was rather worried that there was no other way of soothing him. But he found it and now left it behind. Something inside of him was stirring again, slowly and quietly but he knew it was there. He was almost certain that he will go off again.

Mwana paused midstep, her poise still aparent as she shifted her eyes to the huge from coming in the distance. She wasn't so blind nor ignorant not to know it was a lion and a male one at that. And she, a blueblood lady was off on her own. Somehow she was able to connect that there was a possibility this wasn't a good thing. You never knew what a rogue male could do and she was quite wary. However, there could be something she worked to her advantage-if he was hunting, perhaps she could, with a slight of hand and word, gain his aid. Or she could simply ask, though that seemed far more open to rejection. Either way, she needed to talk to him and hope, just hope he wasn't an uncontrolable brute.
She slipped back into motion as if she had never stopped, her steps light and graceful. When she drew near to him she manuvered a turn so that she walked beside him instead of facing him head on or being run over, "Excuse me, sir, are you off on a hunt...? Mind if I tag along?" Honestly she shouldn't have to ask, being a Lady and obviously so, but some rogues were rather ignorant in such matters, much to her surprise. If she didn't see it she supposed she could simply inform him.

His face was in a scowl long before the female moved to him. Great, the third, well forth if one considered the cub that was with the last one, female he had met so far on this trip upriver. Surely there has to be some sort of river-worshipping pride around here that just kept on springing up now and again. Stupid females. First was that strange orange and blue female, then there was that triple V'd female and her cub, now was this one. He started to roll a growl inside his body, giving off a small warning to her. She best listen to it if she dared to stay alive.
"No, I am not. As for tagging along, do as you want, female. I don't care if you get lost or pulled from your family if you did. I am not in the mood to hunt now nor will I for some time."
He replied plainly as he pressed on with heavy steps. His shoulders rolled as his paws alternated, fur rippling over muscles toned from many days, weeks, and months of practice. This was the male that seemed to frighten smaller creatures away with a single glance. He had only known one other that was stronger than him and he had been left behind at the beach.
"If you want to hunt or don't want to leave your beloved family, don't follow me."

"Well aren't you just a wonderful man of manners," Mwana murmured with a touch of saracasm that she couldn't hide, though she had a well-practiced smile on her face. "Are you certain you couldn't pause for a moment to assist me? I'd be most grateful if you would," she asked, though really her tone wasn't much of a questioning kind. It was more of a command. The only reason she HADN'T outright demanded he help her yet was because of his warning growl. Though she honestly didn't believe he'd actually attack her-it was her mentality. One does not attack a lady. No matter how reasonable she might be sometimes, she was very biased in her beliefs.

"No," he blantly spoke, still pressing forward. Looking around with steady eyes, he had spotted a tree. "I don't often hunt for others, especially when they are fully capable of doing it themselves. Without the use of hunting, one would lose their skill and just be a bafoon jumping at nothing. I have hunted today, ate, and now I must make plans for tomorrow."
That said, the male pulled from her side and headed to a nearby tree, hoping there was not some other female lying and waiting behind it like the last two he decided to spend the night at. Damn, was this place plagued by females or something? Where were the males? Where was the good spar? Where was the masculinity when a male needed it?
The growl in his chest grew louder when she had asked him once more to aid her. It was becoming redundant and simply annoying. He paced around the tree once to assure that he was alone, well with the exception of this female, and plopped himself down. Muscle over muscle, relaxed.
Rolling thoughts through his head, he thought of what to do next. First, he would need to get to the Pride Lands and from there to find a nice starting pride or some place to start a new. But something urked him....he needed to find a place where no one else would go. Some place he could not hurt anyone due to his rampages.....or....find someone to keep him calm and collected. No, Trig was not with him anymore, Ashki wasn't here or the Demon's Den. He was alone....
Damn.... he growled to himself as he glanced back to the river spotting that female again.

A frown touched Mwana's lips as her irratation grew. How dare he just brush her off like that? Such impudence! But it was not lady-like to cause an outright fuss, though she admited that once and a while she disregarded his fact, but for today she would try to uphold it. So, to spite him, which was acceptable as far as being well bred was concerned, she glided over on delicate steps to sit right next to him. She was not going to leave, at least not at present since she much prefered this to actually hunting. Though this was more work, in all honesty, but being hard headed was one of her stronger traits. "Well, since you aren't busy then I suppose you won't mind entertaining my company," she said in an aired voice with a small well-learned smile.

What did she just say? Entertaining her company? Alright, a clear image was filling into his head now. And it was not a very pretty one either.
Trigger rose to his feet and looked down to her. She was one of those high-maintance, class, proper females. It was assumed, but clear. The growl in his chest grew louder. Another thing he could not stand. He had no time to entertain anyone. He had no time to deal with some female who cannot do anything on her own and always got what she wanted.
"Listen here, female, I don't care where you come from or who you are, but you are in rogue lands now and whatever pride you came from you better be heading back. From here on out, you are by yourself. Do things yourself. Learn things yourself. Not everything is about you."
He growled, going off on her, almost close to his rage there....He just could not stand their types, if anything he tried to avoid them. Even at the Demon's Den, those sort of females were turned away. Right about now, he was wishing someone else was here...

Mwana wrinkled her nose at him as he just exploded in her face. How utterly rude! Annoyance flashed in her eyes. How dare he? He critized her, when he was acting so high and mighty when he had nothing to act high and might about anyway? What a hypocrit. "Well I'm sooooo glad you just love to jump to conclusions," she said with a polite sniff of disapproval. "I would love to see you spout that lecture to my sisters, concidering they are the ones who sent me to do the hunting for them and they never lift a paw. Do check your facts before you attack someone. I am working not only for myself, but for others." Even though she'd much rather have others work for her. But somehow, no matter how the conversations went it was always her that was sent off by her sisters. Some fights she just couldn't win.

She attacked him back, him growling more.
"Attack? You want me to attack?!" he roared, jumping at her. "I don't care who you are, if you are going to hunt then go hunt, stop bothering me."
He growled, his eyes narrowing on her figure. He could do as he pleased, but she was annoying him to no end. It was for sure that she was gonna get hurt by him if she didn't do something about it.
"Why hunt for your lazy sisters when they are perfectly capable of doing it themselves? If you asking me to hunt with, no...for you, that makes you weak, your sisters even weaker. Will you always listen to them and do as they say? No male would want such a weak female as a mate, not worth the time if they are easily ordered around like you are."
He moved off of the female and sat himself away from her. The only female that seemed to have his attention during this entire trip would be Dhamisa. This female by far was the only one to get on his nerves as much as this....the growl rolled louder with each passing thought of her.

Mwana looked at him blankly for a moment. With he temper it was likely she was going to explode and make things horribly worse, since this male seemed to have an equally firey personality. Except...she didn't. She laughed. "Oh my dear lord," she giggled, almost in histarics, "Easily ordered around am I? Oh do, dooooooo show me how you could handle my sisters. You have better luck talking to a brick wall then convincing them to do anything they don't want to." Honestly, if he had any idea what she delt with every day, how she went through the same arguement every time only to end the same way but with different content he wouldn't think her so easily pushed about. "And besides," she added with a little more composure, "I didn't want you to hunt for me, I just wanted assistance. It's hard for one lioness to fell something to feed three. I often have to catch more then one thing...and sometimes it doesn't work to well."

The growl grew softer as he turned back to her. This female was annoying him a bit more. Maybe, just maybe, if he did as she said, she'd shut up about this hunting and her sisters. He moved to her and glared deeply into her eyes, growl still rolling inside of him.
"I will hunt, but you are taking me to your sisters. I want to break down this "brick wall". It seems these sisters of yours deserve to hunt on their own and I plan to get them to."
He stood before her witha rough expression. This whole thing was growing bothersome to say the least, but a good hunt should let him vent some of his frustration rather this female. Though, maybe it should be saved for her sisters rather some hunt.
"I suggust we get moving before the sun falls and the noctunals come out and play."
That said, he brushed past and and headed out.
"By the way...name's Trigger

Mwana blinked in slight surprise. She certainly hadn't expected him to actually agree to hunt with her, not after his initial response. She was half delighted, half put out. She actually had to work now...fuuuun. But at least she had help for a change. God knows when that would ever happen again. He said he would convince her sisters to hunt for themselves, but she knew very well that would never happen. But it would certainly be interesting to see, as long as it he didn't get to be too much of a brute.
She slid to her feet with grace, but speed. He didn't appear to be the patient type. She followed after him with quick, light steps, a small smile on her maw. "I am Mwana," she told in reply, "A pleasure." In a way, it was. This definately wasn't going to be a normal day...and it was going to be very fun to see how it played out.

"Why do your sisters make you hunt? They can't?"
He asked as he pressed on in a slow trot, his paws with heavy steps on the ground. It seemed like a redundant topic but it was just small talk until they came upon any prey to take down. Besides, now that he was up and walking, he had nothing else to do. Thanks to her. He kept his rough expression, scowl and frown, grolwing deep inside. He was not very happy about it but it would stop her from pestering him...so he hoped.
What would Trig do in this case? He helped others a lot, it was his "job" or so he says. Well, he was helping here....but what else did the big guy do? Damn it, he cannot recall. He just kept on walking and hoped that tere was some prey beasts around to hunt and take down. He could take a few and she could drag one or something. He just wanted to settle this thing and get some rest.
Maybe this is why Trig had no female counter-part or something. He looked like the idle male, but he had no mate. Maybe this is why.

Mwana sniffed. No, she expected no respect from this male. Just as she could hardly respect him, with his attitude and manners. "Well I suppose you can ask them that when you meet them. Their age old excuse is I'm better, so it's pointless for them to do it when they won't succeed as much. I think that reply just gets rather repetative," she rolled her shoulders in a small shrug. They said they could hunt but...she honestly coudln't recall the last time they had. She kept her gaze out in the distance, only half looking for prey. There wasn't anything in sight yet...which she honestly didn't understand, since they were right by a water source. Hopefully there would be some soon.
