Use this thread to post any complaints or disputes. Summarize the dispute and include a link to the dispute. If it's between 10am and 6pm on either Saturday or Sunday, a judge will be there to help you. Otherwise, a judge might be there to help you, but don't count on it.

So uh... Been waiting forty minutes for a response. He's online, not doing anything.

CoolCow867: Are you typing a reply?
Raven Yun: No.
Raven Yun: I'm too tired to continue and likely to do something dumber than I already have.
CoolCow867: Ah.

Apparently he's not interested in posting, either. Halp?

Edit: I think this event is a little short to get hit by a limbo bomb, so I'd hope to have something done.

Not a judge, but...

If he's not posting anymore, then he goes into super stealth mode.

Effectively, he's not there anymore. If he decides to post later, though, he can pop up wherever his team is.

...he can't take advantage of this to suddenly pop up in an advantageous combat position on you guys, or something. I would say if he pops back up into combat, he should take one post of just taking stock of the situation, so other people know he's there and can adjust accordingly.

Context sortof makes that impossible.

Because he can't just superstealth to avoid a obscenely likely mortal wound.

Ah. That's different. I'll go take a look at the thread.

Okay. So let me get this straight.

Miles is on one side of him. A wall is on the other. Jak's character is behind him. And Gamma is in front of him with a chainsaw.

The way I see things right now, there's no escaping that. So Raven has two (three?) options.

1. He can choose to stay and continue posting, and try to break out of the circle of doom without getting chainsawed. Even if he does this, it seems likely he will eventually be forced to...

2. Make a critical roll. If he wins, he escapes and goes into superstealth mode. If he loses, well. He's incapacitated.

3. He can come into this thread and give me a very convincing reason why I shouldn't be making him do either of the above.

Raven Yun: He said he wanted to sit out on it.
Raven Yun: I think I'm gonna sit out on the rest of the tournament.
CoolCow867: Alright.
CoolCow867: Hopefully your teammates continue to post, we need those points lol.
Raven Yun: uh huh.
Raven Yun: Just go ahead and post chopping Raven's head off.
Raven Yun: Or something.
Raven Yun: He'll be back up and alive in another week.

I don't know how much that is worth. Guess we need a judge.

Gah, sorry for missing this up until now.
I was all off doing stuff and checking posts and 4chan.

But not like there is much for me to do because Owle is perfectly correct with the above post.

He has to post to that, there is no super stealth escape.

...Failing a critical roll there would be rather dire there. Though I am fairly certain that him flash freezing into super stealth does not do much for anyone.

Most likely it will end up frozen in limbo until he:

A) Rolls
B) Makes a post eluding to his escape from it
C) Gets away...somehow. sweatdrop

@Fenrir:

If he just gave you permission to chop his character's head off...do it.
There is not really much judge involvement there.

Though I'm not sure you should get points for it or if you even do for taking out your own team?

I happen to have a PM from Opaj that clearly states we and do not get penalized. I checked before hand. Fen's wanted to do this all day.

He's not our team, just the same faction. Besides if you really think about it it makes sense. The Fist of Power wants marbles, if we take out a body that was holding a marble that's one more marble directly for them.

No, no penalty for doing this. If you kill hiim even because he just 'gives up', you still get the points.

So go ahead, go Chainsaw happy. Enjoy it, and know you're also moving closer to victory with it.

And dont' forget that most likely, you'll be claiming the marble off his mutiliated corpse unless his teammates can pull some Jackie Chan ladder fu flip stuff to get in, take the marble, and get out alive.

Cool.
I was not sure on the Faction-Member relation there.

I figured that is how it was, but thought it worth asking.

Yeah though, go off and do what Arc said, have fun mutilating the corpse.

Oliveman
A split second staccato to the flat of the blade shot the knife away

Friendly fire was not his thing.

(( I feel like judge calling this just to be an a**.

Really, I do.

Flare, can I get a "hell no"? ))

Posting it here to make it an official "hell no" request.

You think about friendly fire before throwing a knife at your teammates back and using 'magic wind bullets' to steer it into hitting. Not after, with some 'magic wind retcon'.

Situation:
Oliveman
The man took out a throwing knife, and looked down at where Adam and the other man was. Damn, this was going to be hard. He hurled the knife down, to Adam's attacker. It seemed to drop, but Aiolos played stacatto with his conductor's whistle and it lifted, flowing with the air current he dropped the conductor's and grabbed the tin whistle, he continued the tune, moving the air around the knife getting the blade to curve towards James' right shoulder.

themightyjello
James was about to say something, and then -

Kthch~!

It was a pretty hefty gash along his right shoulder. If Aiolos was throwing that knife from the rear of the robot James had no way of seeing it coming. It was a pretty good distance though, very hard to be entirely accurate. It was a glancing strike, cut open the shoulder of his coat and the shirt underneath, as well as putting a good sized slice in the side of his shoulder.

He nearly slipped off to the side when it hit, but he still had a good grip with his left hand.

Lord knows how Adam would feel... having a boxing glove pound his face in at the same time a throwing knife whizzed past the guy right behind him and into what more than likely would be his back. Thrown by a teammate no less.

edit: And it's done.

I went and read some of the thread.
I agree with what Flare and Jello are saying.

These are the reasons:
  • The Dino is moving.
  • James and Adam are being slung around.
  • Aiolos is at a pretty meaningful distance from what I am reading.

Just these three factors make it hard to be accurate and precise.

Now I am saying this with no real conception of your wind abilities because I can not see your bio, but pin point accuracy in this case seems possible. Especially knocking it aside at the last second with 'Friendly fire is not his thing.'

Once your manipulating a knife bullet thing at 20-50 feet, your not going to do much in way of 'pin-point accuracy' in a split second.

EDIT

Note to self...leave a tab open to judge thread.
