Nice. I'm easily impressed with stuff like this because I don't see much of it, and have no experience in it myself. Do you do just commercial work like this, or do you do some cartooning/animation also?
3nodding it depends. right now i do a lot of commercial work because it's something i get paid for from sony. occassionally we'll get some 3d animation - we did some to demonstrate a military subcontractors targeting products, because it's less costly to animate than to shoot real missles and tank shells at those things. i also recently posted a collab i did with my bf, wasserfleisch, in where we animated water meats falling from the sky...and my old 2005 demo reel that's currently in my profile has some character animation in it.
2d stuff i'm better with like abstract shapes like motion graphics...it's a lot easier for me to visualize and it takes me less time to put it together. i have done some 2d animations for assignments back in college but they're pretty rough and not something i'd like to really show off since it's not my forte, heh. i also hang out with a lot of better artists than me that like doing that sort of thing and i find that my place is in the background in helping them
present their work.
