Saix and Roxas were now the only ones left in the main chambers. "Are you going to make me have to come down there Roxas or are you going to bring yourself up here?" He rolled his fingers along the edge of his throne, a slight growl in his throat. Saix didn't want to wait any longer for the young one, he disliked the porcupine headed one greatly because of the weapon he carried around.

Roxas frowned. Being interrogated by Saix wasn't a situation he had ever wanted to find himself in. Heck, simply being alone int he same room as Saix was a thing he had hoped to avoid for as long as possible. Sighing with resignation, Roxas excercised his will and teleported to a chair closer to the one occupied by Saix, but not close enough to be within reach of the Diviner's claymore should his answers or lack thereof provoke his ire.
"You wanted to speak with me?" frankly the young audio didn't have any idea how Saix could possibly have a use for anything he might be able to remember.

"You are the nobody of the Keyblade Master, I want you to tell me if you can remember anything at all from experiances or knowledge from being the one named Sora." Saix continued to drum his fingers along the rim of his chair, he expected good answers, since Roxas was the newest of the nobodies, his bond with his somebody must still be the strongest.

Roxas stiffenned, fingers moving to pluck at the sleeve of his robe. Images flashed through his mind. An island, a boy with silver hair, a girl he almost recognized, except her hair was different, her eyes the wrong colour. A castle. A door. He knew the door was important. He didn't know why it wa simportant, it was just a feeling. And always, the keyblade, the light hovering in the back of every memory he had, every memory that wasn't his.
"I don't...I mean..." Roxas swallowed. How the hell was he supposed to answer? The memories didn't make much sense to him, all jumbled up and mixed with things that he knew couldn't be real. What did Saix want to know?
"The memories...don't always make sense." He looked up at Saix, ears flatenned back. "It's like someone dumped a box of puzzle pieces, and some of them got lost, and mixed up."

Saix growled under his breath. "Your only job now is to make sense of it, I will not be made a fool of by that boy like we were before. Xemnas overlooked your usefulness, this was something I linked to our inevitable downfall. That wont happen again. You -must- remember more, I don't care how long it takes."
He rolled his hand along one of his horns and sighed, remembering that like Demyx, Roxas was just a boy. "I'm not trying pressure you, but this is very important." Clenching his teeth, being nice wasn't easy for him. "...is there anything that would make you remember? Anything at all?"

Roxas slumped in the chair. Obviously playing dumb wasn't going ot get him away from Saix any faster than cooperating would. It was a little disconcerting than the newly-demonized but just as intimidating as before Saix was being so...kind to him though.
"Even if I do tell you things...I remember...it doesn't mean he'll be any easier to beat." Roxas looked away from Saix, going back to examining his sleeve, the creases in his worn gloves. "He killed you all before, didn't he? Wouldn't it be better to remmeber what you did wrong, and change that?"
He swallowed. "I mean, just, it's like he's got something inside him that makes him, I dunno, unbeatable." Roxas turned his eyes up to Saix again, frowning. "He's got people he's looking for, people he's fighting for. What do we have?"

"Listen, Roxas. In the time of our long absence, I have learned quite a bit. Acting how I was before couldn't bring back anything. I was very cold, and my first step at regaining my heart was getting past that. But the truth is, Kingdom Hearts is our goal, we need it to be whole agian no matter how close to being real we may feel, it just isn't so without that." Cracking his knuckles, Saix moved forward in his seat. "He may have people he is fighting for and looking for, but so do we. Not only are we looking and fighting to protect and regain ourselfs, but do you want to see those who call you friend or comrad to die again?! We may be nobodies but our feelings of pain are far from dull!"
Rubbing his temples and supressing his burning rage for just the distaste of the coversation, he worked hard to keep his cool. He knew that blind rage would not do anything for him anymore, that was really what he had learned in all this time away. "We have power Roxas, we have more power now than we ever did! We will get our Kingdom Hearts! By showing up here for the meeting you proved you wanted it just as bad as anyone else." His brow quirked. "Even if you arn't here for yourself, maybe just to help those you call friend...Axel perhaps?"

At the sound of Axel's name, Roxas all but tried to melt into the back of the chair. He squirmed uncomfortably, the fur on his tail bristling as the apendage itself twitched against the base of the throne, his hands digging into the armrests. He hadn't spent very much time with Axel since they'd all gotten back together, could he even still call him a friend? More than a friend? Saix was right, he wasn't here for himself. He knew who his Somebody was, and if that was the only way to get his heart back, well, he'd done fine for this long without it. He didn't want to dissapear, be supressed again, become somebody else's almost-memories.
He didn't want to see anybody else dissapear again, either.
"He's only going to get stronger, you know. the closer he gets to his goals." Roxas forced himself to relax again, to silence the ache in his chest, close away the voice inthe back of his head screaming at him not to tell Saix anything, that this was the wrong choice. "He refuses the darkness entirely. Warrior of light. It was enough before, but he still couldn't find them."
What should he tell him? Roxas sifted through the memories, trying to put them in order and make sense of them. "There was a door, and light. So much light." He frowned. "I think.. it was this 'Kingdom Hearts' you're all trying to hard to find. But it's gone now, I guess." He drew his legs up into his cloak, pulling at the zipper tab, closing the bottom of the cloak over his feet. Roxas rested his chin on his knees and sighed. "He's not going to stop, until we're all dead, and everything we stand for. He doesn't understand. He doesn't want to see it. All he sees is his world being destroyed, the darkness taking everything he loved."
Roxas' shoulders slumped, his eyes almost closed as he watched his fingers picking at the hem of his robe. His voice was almost a whisper. "But, we're not really evil, are we? I don't understand why. He's destroying us, too."

Saix growled. "We arn't evil! The heartless exist not because of us, nobodies don't exist because of us, we just are, it is not our fault we were brought into existance half-made, is it that much for us to want to become whole?"
Roxas made a good point though Saix didn't think even Roxas understood what he had said. "He doesn't understand...I think that is part of the problem. We need him to understand our side, that we don't want these things to happen, it's just the circumstances. It would be even if we, the Organization, weren't here. The heartless, other nobodies, do you think that it would just go by without happening?! If it wasn't us, it would be other nobodies going through these problems and trials. If he doesn't understand we must show him, and if he does not accept we must force him."
Saix's dark eyes stared into Roxas' half closed eyes. "We will not fall again, not like last time."

"That's just a roundabout way of saying we have to fight him again." Roxas leaned back, his knees pressing against the inside of his jacket, making smooth shiney patches in the material. "Maybe..if we helped him, instead? Then wouldn't he see that we're not trying to make these things happen? That it's not our fault?"

"Oh? And how would you go about helping him Roxas? Just go up to him and hand him a damn cookie? What do you suggest because I don't quite understand your meaning here." Saix seemed mad, but in all reality, was quite curious to what the young one had in mind.

Roxas' bottom lip stuck out in a pout. He'd thought it was a good idea. "I very much doubt a cookie would help him." he said with a sneer. Maybe not the best course of action, but is Saix was going to get mad at him for saying what he thought, when that seemed to be what the other audio had wanted, well, he wasn't going to sit here taking it.
"I meant, I guess, that if he's trying to find this light again, and his friends, and get rid of the heartless, and well...we're trying to find Kingdom Hearts..." Roxas shrugged. "Maybe our goals aren't so different afterall? And if we help him with the heartless problem...maybe he'll realize we aren't the bad guys here?"
He turned his gaze away from Saix and let his hands drop. "It was just an idea."

Hmm, that was a good idea. However a big flaw was aparent to Saix. "Unfortunately, young one, a detail you have overlooked is this. Only those who kill heartless with keyblades can use lost hearts to create Kingdom Hearts. So, unless you can locate others with the power over the key, like yourself and the one known as Sora, the task of convincing him would simply rest on your shoulders and your shoulders alone, atleast, in the begining." Saix gave Roxas a very, fanged, grin. "And you think you can handle all that just by yourself?"

Roxas extended his right hand, a bead of light growing in it. the light extende dinto tendrils which wrapped around themselves, elongating and finally solidifying into the shape of a keyblade. "I'm not weak." He narrowed his eyes and looked directly at Saix. "It might do you some good to remmeber that much."
If that's what it took to keep his friends safe, then he would do it, or at least, he would try.

Saix laughed under his breath. "Courage abounds in you, that's true, power as well. But don't go making threats that will get you killed Roxas, you were no match for me before my transformation and I have only gotten stronger over time. Kindly put the toy away, if you will."
He moved off of his chair and floated over closer to Roxas and put his hand on the side of the chair Roxas was seated in. "I am one person not to tempt into a fight, you should remember that much." Saix turned Roxas' words back on him. "We all have our reasons for being here, we all respect one another, or atleast most of us. Keep that in mind when you find yourself in need. We arn't any different Roxas."
