Gauru. Many are familiar with werewolves being wolf men creatures from the full moon; however, Gauru is best known as the father of werewolves. These creatures are what gave birth to what people know as werewolves. They cannot shift for they are more pure. Unlike the aggressive werewolves that people are familiar with, the Gauru are more intelligent, stronger, and keener to their connection with Mother Earth. Think of them as the guardians of the earth.
They are not proud of their offsprings since these wolves tend to attack in a more primal nature. They stay in the dark, hiding from everyone and everything. It's more of a "behind the scenes" setup they are accustomed to.
They hate humans, but unlike vampires, they will not attack out of place or throw themselves in the public’s eye. Gauru work for nature and it's spiritual core. They do not feed off of humans, they do not attack them for unfounded pleasure. They simply hate how humans treat Mother Earth, in general and find them unworthy of their attention. They are creatures of Mother Earth, and will continue to act as such…unlike their children.
Gauru cannot shapeshift, therefore they cannot communicate with other creatures. They growl and howl, like were-beasts. No one for sure knows if a Gauru can communicate with another creature since they tend to stay in the dark and alone.

Her spell literally translates into her commanding Oz's soul to leave his body and inhabit Tara's, using the moon as a catalyst and means to direct it at him.

if his soul leaves his body, and inhabits tara's --- well wouldn't it be rotting? and where does oz's body go?

OK if i understand this correctly what's happening to Kennedy is something totally separate than what's happening to OZ...
Oz, had a spell cast on him by Amy, turning him into Tara...
Kennedy is the talk through girl for the Gauru. She's got the tat, and she mumbled the word Gauru to Faith. They're trying to get help, cause something is disturbing mother nature, am i not right?

Of course, you people don't know any of this. lol As far as you can tell, whatever a Gauru is, it's making Kennedy deathly sick.

While we're talking about it, it's worth mentioning that Oz has met Tara and would probably recognize her face if he saw it in the mirror.
