Harmony Gym is placed in a small Village, which of course is named Harmony Village. But it is also known as Sakura Valley, being that inside and all around the Village are Cherry Blossom Trees. It's a place where people would go to get away from the pressure of every day life, and just relax. Every year the Village celebrates their Cherry Trees, and have a festival just for them.
The Gym itself is centered in the heart of the Village, set up as a shrine of sorts, but more about it will become clear soon.Contents of Gym Contents

The Shrine Gym
Despite the name, this is an Official Gym. Not all Gym Leaders live in the city and this place seems to remind you of that. It does look like a normal Shrine except its two statues that a lot of Shrines have, are of Ninetales. They sit to each side, and are quite large. Walking up the steps, you become unsure as to if you are in the right place, but once you get to the top there should be no doubt. Its large, not a place to go and pray, instead it is set up for training Pokemon of all kinds, and that's just the outside. Inside, as you walk through the door, you come into a hallway, it's mahogany wood floor shined and smooth greets you and a pair of slippers await. You take off your shoes, being polite as always, and put the white pair of simple slippers on.
You walk inside further down the hall, all sorts of rooms are there to the sides, but you do not enter, they don't seem to be the Arena you are looking for. Coming to the end, there is a double set of doors in front, they are made of Bamboo and wood. You slide it to the side, and walk out into the back way. Fresh air and Cherry Trees greet your sight, and a little confused, you look around. 'Why would a Fire Trainer have a gym like this?' you might ask. Secrets aren't really my thing, so if you were to ask, I would not train them here. There is a Volcano near the Mountains, and I would train any and all Fire Pokemon I have there, but this Gym doesn't just use Fire, and you will discover that yourself in time.
"May I help you?" A soft voice comes from behind and you turn around, staring at the girl in front of you. She smiles, her blue eyes didn't show any hostility and you begin to relax. Telling her you came to challenge the Gym Leader; she nods and asks you to follow her. Walking behind she takes you past some of the gardens, and over a small bridge. It looked like a Pokemon paradise almost; any kind would love it here. You both stop, and she turns to you. "I am the Gym Leader of Harmony Gym, and I accept your challenge!" she suddenly says in a crisp voice, one that shows her business like attitude. You look around for a moment and realize with all your thoughts, you had missed her taking you towards the battle arena.
Let the battle begin.

Me and my Team
Really all Gym Leaders are nothing without their Pokemon, so I shall show them off to you!
Charcoal- Charizard: Level 100
Special trait? His dark color skin and tiger like markings. A big ego too sometimes, and currently crushing on Ziggy! XD
Kane- Umbreon: Level 100
Special trait? He is a Dark Pokemon, and will become ruthless and unstoppable in battle if you aren't careful.
Vixen- Ninetales: Level 100
Special trait? Don't even try and predict this Pokemon, she will do things in the battle her trainer hasn't even told her to do. But don't worry she sticks to the rules.
Willow- Typhlosion: Level 100
Special trait? Saved by Neko and ish Red XD
Hiro- Charizard: Level 100
Special trait? Loves food, always happy, really doesn't know whats going on around him half the time!
Renamon- Ninetales: Level 100
Special trait? She's not like other Pokemon at all, her markings alone aren't just what makes her different.
Faith- Arcanine: Level 100
Special trait? Brave and determined! She's also one of Neko's more grown up Pokemon.
Himeko- Charmander: Level 100
Special trait? Other than being royalty and her scarf, Himeko is Hiro's battling partner. The both of them like to tag-team other Pokemon.

Neko!!
Strategy: Neko doesn't really have a set strategy, each Pokemon she uses needs something different from her, and she obliges to their individuality. But she won't be ruthless, and she isn't mean. Determined maybe, but if you win she wont mind.
Past: Hardly anything is known, only her Sister and she know where they come from and what they like. She left home for a reason, and in her spare time she ponders what Team Rocket is doing. But when more is revealed you will know.

Prizes Fire Flame Badge
After you win, you will get one of these badges. It raises your Pokemons happiness and also gives it's special Defence a boost in power. Not only that, but since Neko ish a Light trainer more than anything and believes in peace and trust, you and your Pokemon should gain a few companion levels, meaning that your team work and friendship should go up. Dark trainers might not gain this power though, so be aware of that. TM50 Overheat.
Obviously a Fire attack for a Fire Pokemon

Rules
1. Until I have more Fire Pokemon I shall be using whatever I can, so don't say 'But it's a fire gym'. Plus when I have enough Fires, I still might throw in an odd electric mouse. XD
2. If you lose, it means either you weren't ready or your Pokemon aren't strong enough yet, please accept that and if you want I will let people have another go when I think they are ready.
3. Depending on the Pokemon you use, I will send out accordingly. 5 Levels at most is the lowest from my own you can be so if the Pokemon on the list are too strong or too weak you won't be aloud to use them. Fair is fair and I would like to make the battle a good match. You need to earn and not just beat. ^_~
4. If I say no I mean it, I take all challenges but if I'm busy and/or unavailable for any reason I don't want you to keep bugging me. If you are on the waiting list I will get to you, don't worry.
5. Always check my info page. I will keep which Pokemon are available for battle and at what level they are at. So that you know which ones to use yourself. (Note the level rule and whatnot)
6. If you aren't on the list, do not challenge me. I mean it, I take 5 and when those are full you can't ask, and once they are all done, give me at least a week before asking to be on that list.

Opening of the Gym
Her feet made little sound as she walked down the pathway to the small Village below, her Pokemon were all resting safe in their balls connected to her waist. The sky above was dark blue, not a cloud was in sight and the warmth of the sun seemed to calm her.
She had just gotten back from a battle really when a letter had landed in her lap, literally. Team Rocket had been up to no good, and she, along with her best friend Wooga, had been looking for them. The battle was nothing like she had expected, and thought that they might have to take them on alone when they both had started out. But Poke and Miro, two other trainers and friends she had known, showed up and helped them both take TR down. For now anyway.
Her thoughts were interrupted when a figure came into view just at the end of the path; they looked as if her appearance was no shock and had been waiting for her the whole time. The letter. It had asked her to come here, telling her it was important. The thought never crossed her mind that the place she was walking towards was where she had decided she would set up her Gym. The tryouts had been the last thing on her mind for a while, and she had forgotten about the form she filled out and the tests she had engaged in.
As she approached the figure became clearer, and she no longer had to wonder who it was. "I see you made it here safely" the person said in a kind voice. "Yes, thank you Nurse Joy. May I ask what I'm doing here?" she replied, confused. The Nurse nodded her head, her pink hair tied up in the same style as all the others. "Well I wasn't aware that you didn't know, but you have been asked to come to this Village because you are one of the winners in the Gym tryouts".
Her eyes widened slightly, shock setting in. That was the last thing she had expected to hear, that was for sure. Was she really good enough? They had certainly seemed to think so if she had been chosen. Shaking off the surprise she felt another question came to mind "Where will my Gym be? I've had no time to even set anything up and all the equipment-" she was halted by the giggling. Was this woman laughing at her?
"No need to worry about that Miss, as the rules state with all new accepted Gym Leaders things are all in order for you, all you need to do is set yourself up. We don't set up tryouts without being prepared for the winners". she said, amused. Well how was she suppose to know that? So all she had to do was set things up herself? She could do that no problem.
"If you could just follow me I shall take you to where you need to be, and from there on it's all up to you. Don't hesitate to call the Pokemon Centre, and Officer Jenny is on 24 hour call, with her staff" Nurse Joy explained. As they walked through the Village, people watching her walk by, she was told everything. From where the grocery store was to the bank. People here seemed big on Pokemon, and little children ran by with all sorts beside them laughing and playing. The reason she had chosen this place was because her mother use to bring her and her sister here all the time, it was a friendly Village. Not far from home either. Not that she would ever go back there, not since she left on her journey. Maybe some day, but not yet.
"So, thats everything. I hope you will be ok from here, and settle yourself in" The Nurse said, stopping just beside some steps. "Yeah, I think so. I will give you a call when I open up the Gym" Neko replied to her. And with that she started her walk up the steps, she would have some statues put up here, she decided. 'I wonder what needs to be done to the Gym' she thought.
Upon entering the Shrine she looked about, at all the boxes and things left for her. "Well, time to get to work I think!" she said, nodding to herself. "Vulpix, Sparky, Serenity, Marrie, Misty COME ON OUT!!!" Throwing her Pokeballs into the air she let them all out of their balls and waited as they stretched. "Ok guys it's time to work, we have a lot of things to do before we can open the Gym. Are you ready?" she asked them, and they all replied together.
Setting to work, they all started to unpack the boxes and set things up. Cleaning and dusting and washing and putting things away. She went out into the back and was shocked at all the things she saw, the garden was beautiful. Walking around, she looked at everything. "It's amazing" Neko said to herself. "I think later we should look around the Village, but first things are first"
After days of setting up, finally Neko was ready to open her Gym, it had taken forever it seemed but she was satisfied with it. Well...almost at least. Walking outside, she went down the steps to the Shrine and at the bottom of the road, where she had left a closed sign; she picked it up and put an 'Open' sign out. "There we go, now...I'm ready" Sparky ran up and sat on her shoulder "Pika Pi!" she was excited. Of all the Gym Leaders her Pokemon seemed to be the weakest, but she would work hard.

((well...it does say the gym is open...^^; wink )
"walking along the road towards the gym, poke was making some very sad attempts to whistle as she turned around to look at the pathway that lead up to the gym. in the distance she could see neko and sparky who seemed very excited" well, it seems that they have just opened their gym ^_^"
"pan was the only one of pokes pokemon out at the moment, and was sitting quite confortably ontop of her head, getting a bird eyes view of everything" do you think she'll let us battle her?
mabye... well hopefuly anyway XD "she laughed, and then ran towards the group waving" hey saiyajin! congrats on becoming a gym leader! you accepting any challengers at this moment?

She jumped slightly at the sound of someone calling her, and then relaxed when she saw who it was. "Poke, wow...that was fast. I just opened!" she said laughing.
Freaky.
"Well I am accepting challengers, so if you want to follow me to the back where the arena is then we can start" she nodded and turned walking to where she said was the battle field. Walking past her Pokemon she stopped to call them to their pokeballs and the continued on, showing poke all the things around them.
"Well here we are, the rules are two Pokemon one for each battle, no more than five levels between them. Don't worry if you lose one match and win the other, I will be judging on how you handle the battles mostly. Are you ready to begin?" she asked.

heh heh..."scratches the back of her head" yeah, l'm kinda fast on the uptake sometimes, and l do travel alot..."looks to the ground and then looks up" ^^;;
"she followed saiyajin towards the battle arena and listened intently to what she had to say. while looking around at all the beutiful things. Once she was on her side of the arena and had listened to what the rules are, she nodded and took out another of her pokeballs.
well, if there will be two pokemon, then l will start of with spike first, then pan later 3nodding
"she threw her pokeball into the air, and after a flash of red light spike was there, sitting on the field and barking happily"
spike: yyaayyy l get to battle!! ina gym battle to!! biggrin
pan: "still sitting on my head" go spike!! win one for the team!!

Neko smiled a little "Since you chose Spike that means I shall use Sparky" she was the only one close to his level. The Pikachu knew what to do, and jumped into the arena staring at him. She had just evolved really, and this would be her first battle as a Pikachu, and she was eager to test herself against him.
"Sparky start out with a Slam attack!" she shouted, she didn't want to start large with this battle. This will be her first time against poke and she wanted to analyze the strategy she would use.
The Pikachu ran forwards and straight for the Growlithe infront of her. Sending her body like a canon she aimed a Slam at him.

alright then, if thats how you wanna play this game, then spike meet her slam with your ember attack! brace yourself!
"spike tensed up his muscles as he saw the pikachu coming at him, and waited for sparky to get closer. at the final second when she was just about to hit him, he sent out his ember attack at her, hoping for it to hit. although he still got hit with the slam attack and took a bit of damage from it"

She was hit, but the force of her attack made some of the Ember miss and her furr was slightly burnt. Turning back around from her attack she faced Spike again.
"That was great, Ok Sparky use Quick Attack!!" she said. 'That was a smart move, I'm really impressed' she thought to herself. If anything this match would be fun, and she was feeling more excited every second.
Sparky sent herself forwards again, but just as she was going to hit this time with speed and her trainers comand she dodged left and hit from the side.
