I started reading New Moon tonight, a couple hours ago. I'm on page 147 right now.
Ok, this may really sound dumb, but eh, whatever, I don't care anymore.
My eyes are red and swollen of crying so much, and I have this huge tightening in my chest that won't go away. I won't even be able to sleep tonight, until I read up to a part where Edward comes back.
He HAS to come back.
I hate this feeling.
It's been so long I don't get into a book like this. I feel like I'm feeling exactly like Bella, and I don't like it. It's... horrible. I know I shouldn't feel this way for a character inside a book, something that isn't even real (it helps loose the tightening a little when I think of it that way), but I can't help it.
Yes, I tried skipping through the pages - I got to a point where I couldn't even concentrate on the words I was reading anymore, so strong the pain in my chest was becoming.
I skipped pages and pages, glancing to see if I would see his name being pronounced by Bella's mouth, or maybe he himself talking, so I could hear the pleasant sound in my head again.
I found nothing. I saw Alice's name a lot, I saw Jasper's, Victoria's and even the other vampire I can't even remember the name right now.
Desperation started to fill me when I realized his name wasn't being mentioned nearly as one eight of how much it had been mentioned in Twilight.
Truth is, I don't know if I can keep up anymore. crying
I read pretty fast, I know I can finish this book by tomorrow night, maybe ~ but that's not enough. It's too slow for me.
Someone please tell me that Edward's coming back.
Please tell me what happens.

I read up to page 299 last night.
I don't think I've ever read faster in my life.
It's more than halfway through the book already, in one night.
And still, no sight of Edward gonk
When does he come back, the very last chapter of the whole book? gonk
I also skipped school today so I could finish reading in peace.
I feel so... tied up to this book gonk Eek.
I'm gonna be done with it by tonight, I'm sure.
I don't know if I like it much. crying
I mean, sheesh, where did this come from? In Twilight, Jacob was no more than a background character.
In New Moon, he's suddenly one of the main characters. And Edward simply disappears. I don't get it.
Isn't the story supposed to be about Edward and Bella? crying
Don't pay much attention to me... I just really needed a place to rant...
I miss Edward like crazy...

Yes you will, I know the routine.
I started reading it a monday... did hw, ate, bathed, slept, woke up, went to school, came back, gaia, etc, sleep, SKIP SCHOOL THE NEXT DAY TO READ TWILIGHT.... Finished it early in the afternoon or so... Loved it. Cheered, wheeee'd, jumped, tear'd, became angry because it was the ending... All of that.
...and....
Jacob was always destined to be one of the main characters, ever since Stephenie made his very handsome description at the beach bonfire.... heart Who doesn't notice a guy with a sexy ponytail. (or whatever it is his hair was like...)

I just wanted to let you know that I'm finished with the book ~ my best friend called in the middle of the afternoon (right by the time Alice was having her vision about Edward by the stairs, MIND YOU), so that took some of my time, seeing I always spend a couple of hours on the phone with her.
Mindless to say, I couldn't talk about anything else other than the books sweatdrop
She ended up sending her mom here after her work to pick up Twilight so she could read it. heart
Now, for my rant:
AAAHHH, I COULDN'T BE MORE RELIEVED!!!!!!!! crying
~tears flow effortlessly down my cheeks~
I disliked the middle of the book a lot, mind you, I didn't like the way Jacob and the whole werewolf thing was taking up so much of the center of the story.
And I could feel all the depression Bella felt. It brought back so many unpleasant feelings, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that I truly felt exactly like her.
Even though I read the book in less than 24 hours, it feels like I felt that way for eight months, the exact time Edward spent away~
I couldn't be more relieved after Alice's sudden appearance, and more grateful to have the attention redirected from the werewolves and Jacob.
Not that I don't like Jacob - I have nothing against him.
It's just... I don't know... in my mind, he changed. From the boy he was in Twilight, and in the beginning of New Moon...
I understand the whole werewolf thing, and all... and I'm most certain that I can feel what Bella feels towards him... but I just didn't like having Edward away for so long.
I don't know how to explain gonk
The end was so relieving... I think I'll read it and re-read it, and again, and again, and again... until I can pronounce every single word, phrase, paragraph, page, and chapter of the end of the book by memory.
~sighs deeply~
And now I can feel the depression sliding in slowly... the feeling of being away from this story for so long. It almost feels like what Bella felt when Edward left.
I hope I don't hang myself by the time Eclipse comes out. gonk
Because I seriously don't know how I'll survive until then.

But I couldn't help but to scream by myself in my room, of pleasure, when I picture Alice's tender face in my mind. I felt like she was standing right in front of me.
No, I should use a different set of words - I felt like I was Bella herself, standing there, seeing Alice for the first time in so long, and feeling all that she was feeling.
It was an awesome feeling.

I'm sure Jacob is a very handsome teenager himself - or at least he used to be, before the changes... I'm not really sure exactly what happened to him... ~sighs~
But I still prefer Edward. I love Edward fiercely, just like Bella does. I wanted him to come back so badly.
It was a gap that Jake couldn't quite fill in.
I just really never imagined that Jake would be a main character... gonk

For a second there I thought it was Victoria also ~ but, I don't know how to explain this correctly ~ it's like I was connected to Bella, I was feeling everything she was at that moment, and I felt her assurance that it was a Cullen. I half expected it to really be Carlisle, but in the very back of my subconscious, I hoped for it to be Edward.

If you did that, you should read it again.
Because you read it wanting Edward to come back and skipped and flipped through it all, you missed the whole meaning. When you read it again, you know Edward is coming back, so you take your time. You then realize the essence that is Jacob Black.
I'm guilty of that. x3
But seriously, it's really good the second time.
