This will be my first year in Marching band. I heard from my best friend's sister (who's in Marching Band) that the theme is Big Band.
Have any of you found out your themes/shows?

Our show for 2007 is most likely going to be "Halloween". Our school is orange and black, after all!
Songs are:
Toccata and Fugue
Karn-evil 9
Love song from Jackel and Hyde (The boradway show)
Night on Bull Mtn.
It's still really rough (even though our BD has been thinking about a show like this in is head for about 5 years), but we're going to be zombies (some will chase judges and 'eat' some fake ones) for the first and last song. Story behind the show is that we are a marching band that died in some horrible marching accident.

I don't find out until May... but my previous shows have been Zorro, Les Miserable, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

I'm gonna be at West Virginia University next year, so I know for a fact that we'll do "Simple Gifts" and "Country Roads." ;D

I'm mad that we're doing such a cliche show, but it's our first year with a pit so I guess it's a beginning pit show? Who knows, it's lame.
Penguin: We played Karn Evil 9 for a show two years ago. I love that song!

Songs are: Toccata and Fugue Karn-evil 9 Love song from Jackel and Hyde (The broadway show) Hey! Our school did Jekyll and Hyde as our show in, like, 2002! It was pretty much our best show ever-- I sing it all teh time, and I wasn't even in band at the time... ^_^ Anyways, I think we're doing Key Poulan's Illumination (if that's even the name of it) this coming season. I think.

NLHS will be doing some kind of underwater show this year...

Our show next year is called 'Rio'. We have yet to get the music but I think it's gonna be fun.
