Don't eat me!
When do you think we should start getting them in again? I suggest sometime around Saturday or Sunday, that way by next week we can get started again! I suggest the same thing we did last time, annonymous apps. However, do people want to make it a rule that you have to add how you're going to run the game (Rules/Update time/ect.) What do you think? ...Please?

Umm, well I believe in Monkey's thread we wanted to wait a time before we try again, for an anneversery game. Joo should read that thread; I think that improvement is a little more important right now.

Well, looking at what day it is now, and all that, it's possible to fit another game in before the anniversary... Some people might leave if we have to wait that long.

If the game's not worth being patient for, then they don't have to play it. The gamers who truly care will wait, or even help us recruit new people, etc.

I think that we definitely need to restructure before we start a new game. Here are some tasks I think we need to accomplish:
1. Patiently attempt to contact Zae and get someone given VC powers solely for the purpose of assigning Moderator powers to the GMs.
2. Brainstorm ways to get people more involved in the game.
3. Develop a new application process that includes more criteria than just the writing sample; below you can find a list of some ideas for fields I feel would be necessary. - Writing Sample - Update Posting Time (in PST) - Intended positions - Voting procedures (Will there be jailvoting? Etc.) - New/Reinstated Rules - Other Plans
4. Go on a massive recruiting drive to get more new players into the fray. If it's true that the game is just becoming boring and that's why this lack of real effort is occurring then new blood might help.
5. Perhaps we can discuss with Zae about getting the VC applications started up.

That sounds like a good idea. I don't think that Updating time should really matter too much. I do agree that if you can do it at 9 PST, then you should (I can even though I live in mountain time since I usually don't have anything I'm doing at 7) But if its someone who lives far away like Tak, then I don't see the problem with posting it at a different time. There wasn't any problems with his update time, I think people acted very immaturely when they wouldn't stand for his change of time even though it wasn't horribly important. ...Please?

5. Perhaps we can discuss with Zae about getting the VC applications started up. I agree wholeheartedly with the second part of #1... if we have to have a VC, that is, it would probably be best to get a VC that would NOT get involved with drama, or other things... just promote the GM, and maybe to let people "officially" in the guild (the whole guild registration thingy... x_x) I would think that the VC/potential mods might not even want to moderate postings, even if they get out of hand... just so no one can actually get "pissed" at them for something they did/didn't do... and it'll help on drama... Of course, this is my opinion... and prolly shouldn't be looked twice at before being disregarded... x_x
