My first anime was Sailor Moon. I still like it.

My first anime was Sailor Moon also. But I only watched that when I was bored. xD The first one that I actually kept tags on was Yuugiou. =3

Sailor moon was my gateway drug I think...
But I know my dad and uncle loved speed racer so I might have watched some of that when I was too little to remember.

Sailor Moon for me as well. Pokemon, DBZ, and Tenchi Muyo all came shortly after Sailor Moon. ^^ All four of those are still some of my favorite anime.

hm, after sailor moon it was also pokemon, then cardcaptor sakura, and then most of the adult swim line-up when it began.

It took me a while to get into YYH, but once I actually sat down to watch a couple episodes I was hooked. XD (sorta like ygo, I don't know why I avoid or ignore certain anime when I first see them sometimes.)

I remember loving tenchi, cowboy bebop, and candidate pilot most of all, but all the shows back then were pretty good.

OH! but there was also gundam wing! I think that might actually have been my 2nd/3rd anime after sailor moon. I luff that series... I dunno, the other gundams never seemed as great as this one, but I'm sure my seed-fan friends would tear me apart for saying such blasphemy. XP

I remember the three that got me obsessed with anime. Like, seriously/crazy/unhealthy obsessed. XDD First, Gundam Wing. Then Dragon Ball Z. And Sailor Moon, or course. After that, I would watch just about anything that came on TV if it was anime. @_@

I was crazy about Pokémon too. I still have all my old cards around somewhere. =n=

But Dragon Ball Z was probably my favorite for the longest.

When I first saw Sailor Moon I was like...7 or something. I used to watch it all the time, and I ignored other animes. Then when Yugioh came out I ignored that too (I highly regret that...). Then my cousin literally FORCED me to watch it. And now, Im addicted.

@pixiestix: That happened to me with YYH also. @.@ I used to be on Quizilla alot back in my early anime days and I kept seeing lame-o quizzes about Hiei. I was like, "Who the heck is -insert badly pronounced way of saying Hiei here-!? (I hadn't studied Japanese back then so I had no idea how to say it.) He's taking up all the space for Yuugiou quizzes! >=(" Then I looked him up to see what anime he was from and I was like, "Hmmm, Yuu Yuu Hakusho? Sounds good!" Then I caught it on Toonami and was like, "Oh! Me likey!"
I think I like it best because it started on the year I was born. xD 1990. <3 Also, I loved the idea of earth being protected by people from the spirit world and everything. <3_<3 Ah well. XD

I think I mostly liked the violence and the theme song.

...middle school was a simpler time.

Hello Kitty was the first i've ever seen. At least I think that's an anime..... anyway, if it's not then definatly Sailor Moon. I heart that show so much, even now. though nothing is better then Yu-Gi-Oh in my books.

I heard of a lot of ppl saying that their first anime was Sailor Moon, especially girls. Sailor Moon is kinda like a beginner's anime, dont cha think? idea

I forgot about hello kitty! o.o (what channel was that on?)

Actually that might of been my first anime... but sailor moon was definitely the first one I watched religiously.

Yeah, a lot of people's first was sailor moon or dbz. I think it's just about what was available. Kids can't really go buy things that look interesting at video stores, they get whatever's on tv.

I wish they still played Sailor Moon. They didnt even play the last season in America. What a shame. talk2hand

Yeah, I heard that. Wouldn't they have had to edit too much or something?

Kiddifying anime is such a weird thing to do... why should I care that two side-characters are lesbians or that people bleed if you cut them, and that some people like to smoke cigarettes? There's nothing vulgar about that, its just everyday life. We should prepare the youth for the real world slowly with mind-numbing television rather than cottle them with it. At least some good would come out of turning kids into tv zombies that way. =[

lawl, but whatever. I'm off topic, and it's not like anybody really likes dubbing. XP

I miss sailor moon too! *wants to go home and watch the movies*

Reason they didn't dub the last season of Sailor Moon was because they had three new senshi who were actually women (in pretty revealing uniforms) but when they were in 'human' form they were a boy band. XD Plus in the final battle Usagi was completely nekkid. Didn't sit well with the dubbers, so they gave up.
