If Itachi never left the series would be diffrent, Sasuke would be diffrent. His dreams and ambitions would be diffrent, the clan would still be there and he would more than likely be normal and still trying to surpass Itachi, but how do you think this would effect us supporters of SasuSaku?
Would we still support it as much as we do?
Would we defend it?
Would we even care?

I'd still support them because they'd still be the ultimate cutest couple and I personally would defend it. It would probably be less hard because there wouldn't be so much.. drama. And yea I'd care! Always!

Honestly? I'm still trying to figure it out. Just because it's cute doesn't mean it'll really draw my attention, but... I still need to look at it through every aspect because if Itachi never left and didn't kill the clan it would make Sasuke's character 100% diffrent. ._.;

He'd be a heartthrob still. :3 He'll just have a checklist like every hawt player to see which girls he's gone out with and which were the most satisfying.. o.O Didn't mean it like that.. How well! biggrin

i think that the fact the clan is gone plays in a lot so i would still want to happen but i don't think it would..... but we don't have to worry about that

well sasuke would be kinda different if itachi didnt kill the clan and still stayed. he would most likely wanted to surpass his brother still and show his father that hes strong. i would still be a fan of sasusaku. but im not sure how its gonna be like though...would sasuke be nicer to her? would he ask her out? who knows really...

Do we know when Sakura started liking Sasuke? Was it before the massacre, or after? Because if it was after, then she might have only started to like him because he was mysterious.
During the flashbacks of his childhood, it didn't seem as though he had any fan-girls until after Itachi killed the clan.
If Itachi had never left, I'm not sure Sasuke would have grown up to be the brooding loner he grew up to be. He probably would have been more friendly and cheerful.
To be honest, I probably wouldn't like Sasuke x Sakura as much as I do now, because Sasuke just wouldn't be.. the Sasuke that most of us know and love.

 Behind the eyes of people...I probably would be Nutral about it. I mean, most of even the Sasuke Fan Girl Population is based on his looks and personality. So I don't really think I'd be as...well..crazy about it. In fact he'd probably just a slightly cuter shot version of Naruto without all the "no parents" and "outcast" thing. Also I don't even really think Sasuke and Naruto's friendship would be like it is. x - x; We've lost and the ones that will live again.

I like it the way it is. It wouldn't be as entertaining as it is now if Itachi never left.

Itachi and all he did in Sasuke's life have some of the biggest influences in the boy's life. He wouldn't be the Sasuke everyone knows had Itachi not killed the clan. I suppose, if Sasuke decided to emulate Itachi scowl per scowl, stoic face per stoic face, then he'd probably be appealing to the fangirls anyway.
I suppose Sakura and Sasuke's possible love story would be a lot deeper in the canon because of Sasuke's angst ridden past, seeing how Sakura is pretty much Team 7's emotional foundation. But they would probably get together a lot easier if Sasuke hadn't turned out that way, but they would be a little more boring because it would be pretty much predictable.
Or it could turn NaruSaku for all we care, and in that alternate dimension we'd be the ones falling all over NaruSaku. It has more angst than SasuSaku with Sasuke not having a tragic past.
But I've always thought Sasuke would turn playboy-ish because if he didn't have that goal of killing Itachi he actually might have time to acknowledge the girls are drooling all over his Uchiha-ness. blaugh

Still, it's more about the pairing in general. Do you really think if all the angst suddenly fanished you'd still be as big a fan? For me, more than likely no. -_-; That's just me. It's not like I'd hate it, but I wouldn't be as big a supporter.
