The sound of voices could be heard all about in the Audience Chambers, some people meeting new people, and some getting reacquainted. It matter not really what was going on in the Audience Chamber, there only reason for being there was that they had been summoned by the King.

Soon the sounds in the Audience Chamber began to silence, as the doors began to open. Two Squires wearing the colors of the Crimson Brigade and Crest of the lands soon entered. They only entered by several feet, and took positions by the door. Upon there lips they raised there horns, and blew to insure that all attention was given to what was about to transpire next. A Banneret soon entered the room, and like the two squires he was dressed in similar garb, but instead of the trumpet, he carried a large banner. The Banner bared the Kings Crest.

He marched straight and true to the throne, and in those moments that passed another person garbed in the armor of the Crimson Brigade entered. Upon his chest was medals, and decorations. Once the horns had died down, his voice sounded loudly so that everyone present was sure to hear his voice.

“HEAR YE, HEAR YE, ALL KNEEL AS I PRESENT TO THEE THE KING OF NORCADIA, LORD GENERAL OF THE CRIMSON BRIGADE, GRAND MAGUS OF THE TOWER, AND GUARDIAN PROTECTOR OF THE DARK FOREST, HIS MAGESTY GALEN A’ASTERAN THE FIRST.”

The Kings Herald spun moved out of the way, and took knee. He soon bowed his head as another man in regal garb and armor walked in. His stature and poise indicated the confidence and power the man held. Much of what he looked like was hidden behind his battle hardened armor. He wore no crown as most Kings did, but there was no mistaking that this was the King of Norcadia.

The King stepped up onto the dais that held the throne, and he soon spun around slowly, and looked at those assembled before him. If they took knee or not, it did not matter at the moment, for there were more pressing concerns that mere formality. Still as he stood there, those assembled saw that he did not sit upon the throne either. He removed his helmet to reveal the dark hair and handsome features.

His helmet was handed to one of the guards that stepped forth. The King took another moment of pause to look at those before him. Be it recognition, familiarity, judging, or assessing, no one could say for certain.

“For those that I know already, it is good to see you all, and for those that are new here, I bid thee greetings. To one and all, I welcome to Castle De’Seas. It is indeed unfortunate that we must all meet in such a manner, but I have summoned you all for a purpose or reason. Years have gone by and the World of Gaia has been that of peace and serenity, but soon all of this is going to come to an end.”

The King paused for a moment to let his words take their proper effect upon them all. He did not wish to think of how it affected each and every one of them. All he knew with absolute certainty is they would either support him in the end, or they would abandon him to their own folly.

“A War is coming, and as some of you know, I am not one to sit and wait. I am sure there will be those that will send Ambassadors and Diplomats to calm the factions, and I am sure I will be one to send them also. I am though not the fool as I will not rely upon that only option. As such, I have summoned you all here to this Castle, so that we all might unite to fight the battles that will be coming. There is no escaping it, and only time will show who will be the hero, and who will be the coward. United we can show other what we stand for. United we can push back and defeat those that would try to conquer or oppress us. Divided…. It is simple, we will surely lose.”

Another pause was given, but this was shorter this time.

“I have spent so much time preparing for this eventuality, and Castle De’Seas is the fruits of my labor. With the Castle, we can train, make plans, trade, and whatever else it takes to make us victorious. Castle De’Seas will be our sanctuary, a place that we will make our stand against what will come. So I ask you all, are you with me?”

A figure, familiar to the King and a few others strode out of the assembled crowd clad in the colors of the kingdom. She walked to the dais, looked up at her King and dropped to one knee in obeisance. "My liege, the castle steward is with you." As quickly as she'd walked up, she stood, took several steps backwards then entered the throng to be swallowed up.

Gwyndara

The Lady Gwyndara and all her knights had briefly took to knee and then quickly stood again. When asked the question if they were with them, Gwyndara stood and saluted her King.
"Huza!" She sounded her agreement that she would indeed follower her king wherever he may lead.
Then she took her place at his left hand.
She would have stood at his right had she dared, but she was not publicly bold enough for that.

As the King of the castle asked if we were with him, L'Ange saw the Castle steward kneel before him and give him her alligance, Lady Gwyndara and the knights also pledge alligance. L'Ange took a few steps forward, kneeling and said
"It would be an honor to serve under you, with all of my fellow Rangers."
And quickly retreated to where she had been standing.

Haseo was near the center. He looked around at everyone that knelt and followed suit so he did not look like a fool. Listening to the King's speech gave him vigor and a sense of adventure. "If this war was going to be big, I can show them all what I can do," he thought before standing up and walking forward a bit. He could care less if people thought someone without noble birth believed it was disgraceful.

"King of Norcadia, I don't know if I was summoned or not, but I'm gonna fight no matter what the cost. I'm up for a challenge. And judging from what you've said, I won't be disappointed. Just give me my orders!" he called out boldly before giving the King a courteous bow. He was not a fan of knealing.

A faint creaking of leather armour was heard, as a woman clad neck to toe in skintight black leather swayed out from the crowd. Her soft tail irritatingly tickling people she passed under the nose, a few even sneezing.

She rested the tip of her sheathed blade on the ground, although she didn't bow. She considered herself as did many rangers to be almost an equal of the king.

"Magesty, the Black Legion and I stand ready to kill. To hack them to pieces. No mercy." With that she slammed her fist into her chest, carefully missing a painful strike to her own breasts, before nodding and returning to the crowd.

Christophers

Christophers watched as his closest were of course to take knee and show proper allegiance. The others then slowly came forth to show there following, which most Kings probably would not have look too kindly upon in there style of mannerisms. Still Galen was no normal King. Though he was a King, he wore no crown. Instead of letting those fight for him, he would be found in the thick of things. A man that people either loved or feared, no middle ground usually.

Christophers came forward, and his Drake huffed and looked around at people. Christophers took knee before the King, and bowed his head. A moment later a flash of light, and Christophers had removed his blade to hold it out to him with both hands.

"I, Captain Sherman J. Christophers, and the Spelljamming Ship Entente' stand at the ready for his Majesties orders."

Christophers watched as the King nodded to him. He then stood, and returned his sword to his scabbard. With that he stepped off to the side to make way for the others.

The Dragon growled a little bit as she watched on. Suddenly and without warning, a bright light grew in the area where the dragons head rested. It was near blinding, but those shielding there eyes would be safe.

When the light dimmed, they saw a beautiful dark skin woman standing there, and the Dragons head was gone.

She looked at everyone, reserved, and inpectingly. She moved towards the front of where the King stood, and surprising everyone, took knee before him.

"My King, you and I have known each other for a very long time. I know the man beneath the armor, and the heart that drives it. I will always love you for you are both a just and kind man. I pledge to you, that I will always stand at your side to fight any challenges that dare oppose you. So my heart and my talons stand ready to do your bidding."

The woman stood and turned to look at the group, and as she was about to walk off, she stopped.

"The King is a good man, and he won't say this. I on the other hand don't care. The next person that doesn't take knee to him to show the proper respect due to his station, is going to become dinner for me. This man has done more in his life time than any of you think you will."

She looked at them all expectantly awaiting anyone to step forward to challenge her. Waiting a moment, she turned her head to look at the King, and merely nodded to him once again. She soon returned near the area she had appeared in.

Sir Elton Josh walked out of his room. He new where the throne room was and he walked without making a sound. He walked in with a bag full of some thing round. He walked right up to the king, bowed and then held the bag out," King, I have brought you some Gobstoppers. Enjoy." He turned around and sat down next to Greylle."You want some Gobstoppers?"

Haseo watched the others as he remained standing in the center of the room. The ranger seemed more blood thirsty than most of the people he had met. He would watch her carefully if they ever met face to face.

His next concern was the dragon. He had instinctively shielded his eyes with his arm from the light. He was a bit surprised to see a woman next to face the king. "A dragon-lady...another surprise. Maybe I won't be needed after all if this keeps up."

Gwyndara smiled to herself. The gathering throng of loyalty was heart warming. Though thier were a few that worried her, she was greatful that they were all steping forward. The Black Rangers and the Crimson Brigade often found themselves in rilvary, though where the King was concerned they agreed whole heartedly.

A Draconian had passed by after a sparring match he had just been at. He had already relieved himself of all burdens that he had been carrying, but his clothes were otherwise relatively plain as he noticed the king make his entrance. He watched as he made for a call to arms. As the voices from the crowd made their triumphant reply of support, he was on the other hand watching carefully, tactically analyzing the abilities of each of the new recruits to do so.

He had also noticed the loyal dragon that had threatened those who blindly supported the King. He had no patience for dragons of low intelligence, and even less for those who had blind loyalty. The expression on his face was calm, serene, in an arrogant manner. He looked around for the Captain of the Crimson Knights, the one of whom he had sparred with earlier, and noticed her. In politeness, he waited for the King to finish his resounding speech to the masses. While he was unsure about the multitude of the forces, he raised his hand. "Your skills in combat are impressive, and I should hope that your skills as a leader are as bold as your words. But you have convinced me. I, Marcus DeSavage, will join you in this endeavor. It should be an interesting challenge."

A wave of shock went through her and her face fell flat. A war? There was a WAR going to be started?

Vivi's mouth opened and closed quickly like she was as fish out of it's pond as people began to come in and offer thier undying allegence to the King.

Her village sent her to fight a war? Why hadn't she heard about this until now? Certainly with all of her travels, something like this would have come up.

Then again, they were HER travels. During all of that time, she never really payed attention to anybody else, unless they wanted to debate politics or she was itching to get out some of her angst via prank.

A small smirk passed across her face. This is what she got for not paying attention to others.

The the smirk actually turned into a smile as she started to think about what war ment. War ment politics and more people to test her 'ideas' out on. More people to test on and less of an objection.

Vivi cleared her throat gently and brushed her hair from her face.

" Your Majesty, " she said, " I, Vivian, offer my skills to your cause. "

A laugh escaped from her throat. And here she thought she was comming here to get some trainning. Now she was offering herself to the cause of the King.

Well, when in Gaia, do.

" I hope that my abilities will do justice to the War."

Hastily, she fell to one knee and bowed her head. For a second she had forgotten about formailities of the court and a stain of embarasment reached her cheeks.

Gwyndara hissed.
“Kneel before the King and pledge to him, or find yourself in Exile and stripped of your knighthood. The Crimson Brigade Follow the Knights Code, The King, and then Me. And we do it in that order.” She said with deadly quiet. She would not stand for anyone to disrespect her King.
