"Life is going smoothly. Everything is great."
Those were the random thoughts rolling about the male lion's head as he laid on his back looking up at the stars. He had his vanilla tan and white front paws drawn close to his chest as his golden gaze took in the view above him. It wasn't as beautiful as a lioness's form, but it would have to do for now. He gave off a small sigh, lashing the tip of his red copper tail about mindlessly.
He used one of his paws to scratch at his furry chest. Life was good, but it was dull. Not one of the ladies he had met even wanted to spend an evening with him. Most left feeling like he was just a very good friend. That was good and all, but he wanted something more and definitely a nicer sight to take in.

Soaring through the skies, weaving amongst the clouds light blue eyes looked up towards the stars and she smiled. She would find her sister soon enough, yes, then both of them could look up at the stars. Think about their families that had been lost, but be together., then all would be right with the world. "So, let go,let go, Jump in, Oh well, what you waiting for? It's all right 'Cause there's beauty in the breakdown" she sang and her voice was carried with the wind.
Sparks shot off of her wings into the clouds, it tingled her. The night was young and still no sign of her lost sister. Ah well, perhaps a nice rest would do her well. Her black tipped wings curled towards her body and she soared down towards th earth, swooping merely inches from it before landing softly on the ground. Her stripes glowed in the dark, outlined by the same blue that beheld her eyes, her white fur on her head resembled a mohawk, but some strands of it fell into her view. She flicked her white, tipped tail to the side and smiled. Oh how she loved to sing in the night.
"So, let go, l-let go, Just get in, Oh, it's so amazing here, It's all right, 'Cause there's beauty in the breakdown" she padded along in the dark, her large wings curled upon her back. Sparks swirled around her forelegs and wings as she walked. The night was crisp and cool.
She loved it.

A tan ear flicked slightly at the sound of someone obviously landing? That couldn't be right. There was nothing large enough to make that kind of noise. He rolled onto his stomach but kept his body low so he could see what this could possibly be. He more or less saw her before he even heard her and by the faint scent, she was indeed female. No lion would ever smell that sickly sweet, right?
She was indeed entrancing, if a bit scary looking from where he was at. And her voice. He couldn't help but purr as he heard the female's song when she drew closer. Figuring now would be a good time to step out, he made his presence better known, rising fully and shaking the grass from his appaloosa rump. "It is a beautiful night, is it not, miss? But the stars grow dull in such radiance as yourself."
It was then that he finally got a full look at her. Good Gods, she had wings! Good Gods, she was a God! He had been so blind and felt suddenly foolish that he would bring great lightning bolts down upon him for his intolerable behavior. His mouth was hanging open slightly and as she drew closer, she would be able to see if was wide enough to catch a few flies.

Nix'Annada turned her light blue eyes to settle upon him. Ooo a male? Purrfect. She loved males, loved flirting with them actually. She found them fascinating, gorgeous even. How they acted and spoke, all too wonderful. She giggled and stepped closer to him, her mohawk being pushed against by the breeze of the night.
"Why hello their luv," she smiled and drew closer upon him. Oo he did know how to make her shiver with compliments did he? Perhaps that was just the lightning surging through her veins. "The stars are perhaps distant relatives of myself, glowing with pure power and beauty," she peered up at them, then back to him, "Don't you think so?" She flicked her tail and then shook her head and laughed to herself.
"Well where are my manners? I am Nix'Annada, Goddess of Lightning, Nix if you do so prefer, tis a pleasure to meet you..." she bowed her head, sparks flew across her wings. Sometimes she wished they would cease now and again, but they stopped sometimes, which was nice.

His mouth closed shut with a click of his teeth. It seemed that this flirt didn't know how to react when another was tossing his act back at him in her own way. So he flashed her a charming smile and looked up at the inky darkness. "But they will never be anything as beautiful as you, Nix."
So he had managed to call lightning down upon him after all. Perhaps that was a good thing. He managed to place a paw to his heart and dip his head downwards in an awkward bow. "I call myself Sumilyth. The pleasure is all mine, I assure you. You are rather... fetching in the moonlight. Care for a moonlight stroll, lovely?"

Nix beamed with pride in herself. Yes, she was lovely, she knew that. If only she could teach her literal sister the same thing...if she could find her that is. She and her un-blood sister were two of a kind, Nix was beautiful, her sister was unique. She swayed her tail, the white fluff flicking back and forth, and she smiled.
Yes, she would allow a stroll with this mortal this night.
"Sumilyth...such an interesting name, it sends a chill of a sort down my spine," she said with a purr, and took her place next to him. He would lead after all, he wouldn't think she would do such a thing did he? "Were are we headed Sumilyth? Somewhere amazing? Thrilling? Or someplace plain hmm?" She giggled.
This would be fun.

He casually strolled off, having an idea of what he would like to show her that he ran across only recently. "Lovely, everything dulls in comparison to you. I just hope you enjoy the light show that I want to show you," he said with a casual wink.
Their surroundings slowly changed from the open grassy plains, to trees popping up more and more. Great vines started to create a wall and it was one of these that he pulled a paw up and back to reveal the final destination.
A think wall of ivy leaves were wrapped about the trees of the clearing. The night sky was shining brightly casting it's starry reflection on the crystal clear pond that was nestled in the center. The night time dew clung desperately to small blue flowers that carpeted the ground. Everything shined brightly from the moon and stars. It was indeed a beautiful sight.
He waited patiently for her reaction. It was the best he could do on such short notice, but this was indeed less boring than just walking about aimlessly.

Nix followed him, a little bounce in her step. She was getting quite excited, quite hyper, but she had to stay in control. For one such as lightning when out of control, could cause devastation, and at this particular moment, that was not a good thing.
She liked the compliment, just smiled at him, the gentle breeze of the night pushing against the white mane hair she had. She loved her hair so much, so bright compared to the rest of her...except her stripes that is.
Though as she walked with him, she made sure to not get too close, she had to keep her energy inside, try to suppress it as much as possible. She didn't want to shock him, that would be bad as well.
"Ooo..." she said as they approached, and he revealed the seemingly hidden spot. It was away from everything else, quite secluded, quite nice, "Do you live here?" she asked, padding in a few steps, raising her eyes to look all around. Everything seemed to sparkle here. It was driving her crazy inside, she wished to make things light up as well.
But she didn't want to hurt him.

He waited for her to move on passed him before he followed behind her. She smelled far more enchanting that the blossoms he had discovered a few weeks ago that carpeted the ground beneath their paws. "Sometimes. I never want to stay here for too long so the flowers will continue to thrive without being underfoot constantly." He smiled and continued to watch her reaction. "I love watching beauty."

"Beauty is sometimes hard to find..." she said as she peered around even more, a smile upon her maw as she flicked her tail, "But sometimes you can find it in the strangest of places," she turned her head towards him and blinked her ice blue eyes, "Don't you think?"
It was truly lovely here, she paid attention to where the flowers were on the ground, and jumped yo settle herself on a stone somewhat, keeping herself balanced by keeping her wings stretched out somewhat. She smiled and giggled to herself, this was fun. She had to watch her powers here, she didn't want to fry the poor flowers.

He looked about the area before daring to take a risk and sit near her on the rock. It was large enough for him to sit on as well, but probably seemed small to the goddess. He flashed another one of his award winning smiles, "I see beauty in everything. Only a fool would pass something as enjoyable. It makes life more pleasant, I guess." His golden eyes clearly stated that he meant those words for her, and her alone. Perhaps he could risk a few sparks.

Nix flashed a smile at him, followed by a giggle somewhat then she outstretched her wings and tried to balance on two paws, then one, she laughed to herself, trying to balance on the rock with him sitting there, it was strange. Ah well, this was fun, she flicked her tail then sat back against the stone again and looked all around.
Where are you sister? she mused in her head. Nix couldn't feel her presence anymore, her and her sister had a connection from when they were little, Nix accidentally chocked her quite badly, so sometimes in the heat of anger, Nix could feel her. But it has been too long, which was a good and bad thing. "Its funny, how strangers meet in the most odd settings..don't you think?"

He had turned his attention to something off in the distance, as he lifted one back paw and scotched closer to her, inch by inch. "Sometimes," he said quietly before trailing off in thought. "Sometimes star-crossed people can be fated to met at least once." He twisted his tail around hers, his body touching hers now. "You never know what those sparks might start."

Nix felt his tail touch hers but didn't say anything, it was just nice, being within the company of another. She tried to hold in the rush of electricity that wished to surge to where his skin touched hers, it was tiresome, but she really didn't want to give him a static cling pelt, or fuzzed out mane, though it would be rather humorous to her.
"Perhaps, and yes, you never know what may happen...I have to find my sister first, before I can let any good happen with me, I need to know she's safe." She was hinting at the fact that she'd have to leave soon unfortunately, but she doubted that she would never see him again, their paths would cross again more likely.

Sumilyth drooped a bit inside at hearing that she had to leave. He covered up his moment with a smile and gentle nudge against her shoulder, enjoying the feeling of their fur close together. "When you know where she is, come look me up sometime," he said with a casual wink.
