I was just thinking that because Edward says that Bella smells good to him and a couple of theories why. when Bella asked if it happenes oftena dn he said that to Jasper all people smell the same, and that it had never happened to him, but for Emmett it had happened before, twice. So what if Edward comes across someone who smells just like Bella? What would he do then? Would he stick with Bella or run off with this new person? And i was also thinking that maybe Edward doesnt want tochange Bella because then she might not smell the same. Its just what i think.

I think Bella is as appealling as it gets for Edward. She has the scemt, but he loves her deeper than that now. If he smelled something like that, he may be startled a bit like he was with Bella, but I dont think he would act on it, and certainly not leave Bella! 3nodding

Augh, man, I'm so disappointed!! gonk I had THE perfect answer all typed out here last night, and as soon as I clicked the goddamn submit button, my internet went down, and I lost everything!! gonk
I'll try to remember some of the words I used, at least;
I don't think Edward would ever leave Bella if someone else with such an appealing smell appeared in front of him. He was drown into Bella the first time they met because of her scent, that's true - but later on, it became much more than that. Edward doesn't love Bella for the way she smells, he truly loves her for who she is. He just learned to live around her smell without attacking her. Last night I remember I quoted something Edward said in the book - when he commented on her smell, and she asked if it was a good or bad thing, and he answered; "Always both, Bella. Always both." or something along those lines. 3nodding I can't quite remember what I quoted that for, though gonk Well, the changing part - we can't know, really sweatdrop Specially me, who didn't even read New Moon yet! But, who knows, her smell might be something he considers, when thinking about changing her. Numerous things have crossed my mind about that already. As an example, she won't be warm anymore; and he commented about how nice it felt to touch her warm skin. About her smell, we're not entirely sure if it would change much. She wouldn't have blood in her veins anymore, but I'm sure not all vampires smell the same? I think what would happen is that they'd keep their smell from their human life, and, just like the "special senses" and their looks, their smell would also be enhanced. See where I'm getting at? 3nodding

If any such thing happens, I hope the person who has magical Edward scent is a guy.
That way, Edward can be all "He smells delicious... eek "

Vampire Bella If any such thing happens, I hope the person who has magical Edward scent is a guy. That way, Edward can be all "He smells delicious... eek " xd But yeah, I doubt he'd leave her. I'd like to see it happen though, to know for sure. I hadn't though about it....

I hadn't thought of that before... I hope that doesn't happen though... I personally think that he won't like anyone that way or find someone as appealing as Bella is to him so long as she's alive... That's my opinion anyway...
