Heeyyy
Ok.
Now my guitar came with it all wrapped in a layer of plastic, the plastic going UNDER the tone&volume knobs.
I can't get the plastic out from it, and when I turn the knobs it makes a loud crackling sound.
And with the volume knob, (its the one with the most plastic) if I put it at a specific point it doesnt make any sound at all D;
Please hellp?
Need to know a way of getting the plastic outta there.

it sounds like your knobs might need to be tightened. so here we go, first pull off the plastic knob(or whatever its made out of). pull up and wiggle it side to side till it comes off. then you cna take off that annoying plastic and also make sure the nuts that hold the pots on the pickguard are nice and tight

I suspect that the plastic isn't the source of the crackling. This sound is usually produced when the potentiometer contacts are dirty and need to be either cleaned or replaced. It's still a good idea to remove the plastic though.

THe pots are either dirty or faulty. Replace them or use electrical contact cleaner on them.

Take the guitar back to the store where you bought at and ask them what to do.
Remember to bring your receipt.
