Seeming now like a time so long ago, there was death in their group, by some twist of fate, they had all been saved and placed here. The emotions of those who had first arrived were less than pleasant. Searching for the rest had been their goal...it was forgotten.

Going their seperate ways after a chance meeting with the twilight key left the Organization broken, but it seemed that this was the way it was now meant to be.

It had been some time since the founding member around to lead, the Organization was faltering. It had essentially disbanded, this didn't sit well with one member especially. With no leader around for so long, he is assumed to be gone from this world to another, or worse...dead.

Upon finding the last of the members, the one known as Saix resumed his long time of deep thought on a revival...it begins again.

The day had started like any other. To Demyx, nothing seemed spectacular about this day. He had spent the morning swimming, as usual, and a bit after his morning swim he found himself in the company of Saix.

By now thoughts of the Organization as a whole were long gone from Demyx's mind, the youth simply taking each day as it came and not thinking beyond that. It was simplistic, and for the moment it was enough for him.

Still, he was happy the berserker at least tolerated his presence now. In the beginning their relationship was anything but friendly, but after their transformations things seemed to have calmed down a bit. So, happily, Demyx followed the other down the hall, and eventually to a room. The youth looked rather confused, green eyes scanning over the large door that stood in their path. Their meeting room was inside...and it had been a long time since he had stepped foot in there.

The past weighing heavily on his mind, Saix looked down at Demyx, as small as he looked before, after both of their transformations the bard seemed even smaller. Things really had changed since they had arrived.

"We are rebuilding what we had before Demyx, you should know what you're getting into and that by agreeing to assist there is no way out once we pass through these doors."

His eyes moved towards the large pure white doors infront of the pair.

"The others have already gathered, I chose you to come in with me for a very simple reason. You agreed with me and trusted that I was right despite your reaction when the group got together long ago. In short, you're second in command now and you have the chair next to mine, do you understand your responcibilities to the Organization as I have explained them now? This won't be a repeat of last time. We will mourn the fact that there are two members missing now, but the time has come that we have to focus on our original goals."

Saix stopped right infront of the door pausing and turning to Demyx, his ever scowling face looking down at the young one.

"This is our rebirth into the world."

Demyx froze, paw splayed out on the door before them. Had...Saix really just said what he thought he said? There was the shock that the Organization was going to reform and strive towards their goals again. Thoughts of such things had nearly completely slipped from the young one's mind. But....second in command?

Startled, Demyx turned to eye the berserker. Could he honestly be serious about this? Then again...one thing Demyx had always wanted was for Saix to not only tolerate him, but learn to -respect- him as well. And, finally, here was proof that he was doing just that. Shock turned quickly to a nervous smile, the sitarist struggling not to start bouncing in place. That wouldn't be appropriate for a second in command to do afterall.

"Of c-course! I understand Saix...and I welcome them. I told you long ago I'd help in any way possible, and that promise still holds!"

Grin taking on a more natural look, Demyx pushed open the doors and stepped inside.

"Mmmmbooooooooriiiiiiiiiiiing," Larxene half-muttered, half-sighed as she draped her legs over one arm of her chair and leaned against the other. The summons to a meeting had been a surprise; she'd long since given up the idea they'd find the need to meet again. Her tail swished against the side of the chair as she resumed poking the end of a finger with one of her knives.

As much as she did her best to appear entirely bored with the goings on - and the others present - she was actually extremely interested to find out what had prompted the call. Perhaps the missing ones had returned...

She glanced lazily to the side as she heard the door start to open.

Glancing up from the book he'd brought along from the castle library, Vexen cocked an eyebrow at the lone female.

"That would be why you should always bring somethign to read or do while you wait. These things never start on time."

Turning hazel eyes back to the book, Vexen didn't resume reading so much as just stare blankly at the pages. The second chance at life he'd been given still puzzled and disturbed him to a small degree. No, more like a large degree. He hadn't surfaced from the library for more than an occasional meeting or to raid the kitchen for a snack.

Shifting uncomfortably in his seat, the scholar gave a small sigh and gave up on reading, tossing the book aside. The Organization needed.. well... organization if they were going to avoid stagnation. They needed a leader. Almost as if on cue, the doors began to open. Vexen turned to watch, curious to see who was arriving.

Roxas sat with his back to a corner, observing the room through his eyelashes. He still didn't feel like he really belonged here, but he couldn't quite put his finger on why. Nothing really felt right, but maybe this meeting would help put some of his doubts at ease.

He sighed and brought his knees up to his chin, wrapping his arms around them to keep them in place. At the sound of someone opening it, Roxas' gaze left the lint on his pantleg and travelled to the door, coming to rest on Demyx. Why was he with Saix, of all people?

He wasn't neccessarily 'interested' per se, but the turn of events recently left Xaldin more withdrawn than usual. And with that withdrawn expression his demeanour echoed sinister.

One eye shifted from Saix, the one who imposed to be the 'leader' and then the second in command. The logical part of him agreed that both the angelic and demonic held the upper hand.

"What is done is done," he said simply, a grim permanent frown on his muzzle, ignoring everything but the two in command. "I do not care who is leader, just how it is done. If your actions fail you, then words need not to be said."

He fell silent after that, eyes deceptively passive looking.

Leaning against the back of his tall white chair Marluxia's eyes gazed around. Youd think he would sit up tall in his chair, but it had been a long time before they had been summoned into the meeting room, almost everyone was here.

He forgot how uncomfortable these chairs where.

Between his fingers was a single flower petal, he had been fiddling with it while he waited for the meeting to begin. As Marluxia heard the doors open the flower petal disapated, and he leaned forward.

Indeed it was weird seeing the two together, But they also on the same token looked different then the rest of them. Saix's robes now had a blue hue to them, and he also carried around wings, horns, and what seemed to be a extra tail. The same with Demyx, wings.. a halo... and a extra tail. Heh... so appropriate. These changes set the both of them far apart from the rest.

How things changed, he thought.. Crossing one leg over the other the graceful assassin peered down at them, as if waiting for one to say something.

Lexaeus wore no readable expression as he listened to the words shared between the other Organization members. Nor did he speak up to add his own opinion to the conversation. It simply wasn't necessary.

He had been waiting as long as the others for the meeting to start, but he showed no displeasure to be pulled away from his training, or curiosity as to why they had been called, or even surprise to see the two who entered the room together and their less-than-usual forms. He was as impassive as a granite block, and only seeming more thoughtful than the latter upon close inspection.

He'd been rather surprised to find Saix wanting to speak with Demyx and even more surprised that he'd let his angelic lover go. It had probably been the bright eyes looking up at him that had convinced him that it was a good idea. Odds were that the berserker had decided to do something with the shambles that had become their Organization. He had no real opinion on what they should do as he'd never truly explained to anyone why he'd joined their ranks, as he liked to say, Time would tell.

Balancing a die on one finger he'd kept the thing spinning since he'd made himself comfortable, or as comfortable as he could be, in their over sized thrones. A little twist of his power here and there and the die rotated on its own.

Upon hearing that Vexen and Lexaeus were once again around and would be attending he'd come out of hiding at the summons. He could see the scientist pretending to read a book and their quiet friend being his usual silent self.

The appearance of Demyx and Saix, now both decorated with wings and such, caused his ears to perk. They were different, they smelt different, so he switched his mind to actually pay attention. Perhaps now there would be something to do besides watch everyone walk around on their own or ignore things completely.

Axel sat silently in his own great white throne, his gaze running the length of the arm and fixing on a small black thread resting there. He wasn't sure why he'd even come to the summons, it wasn't like their was much of an Organization to come back to. He no longer had to follow anyones orders, not that he'd followed them to the letter back then either. Could it have been curiousity that had drawn him back? Or perhaps..loneliness?

Emerald eyes scanned the sheer white room, falling on each of the members in turn. Why had they come? Who had called them together? The summons hadn't been specific as to who had ordered the former members to appear in the council chamber. He supposed he would find out soon enough.

As his gaze came to Roxas, a slight smile graced his muzzle. He'd felt a special connection between them since that first day. The first one he could remember. If only he could recollect what had happened before. Had there been something between them? A friendship? More?

The red-head shook away the thoughts, turning his mind back to the more relevant questions. Almost every seat full save those of their fromer leaders and that of Saix and....Demyx?! The sitarist was nowhere to be found! What if Saix had---?! Before he could finish the thought, the enormous, colorless doors opened. There! It was Demyx...but he was different, changed. Saix was there too, also changed. The fire-wielder's blood boiled as he glared down at the demon audio. What had he done to Demyx and why was the boy smiling?! He'd clearly missed much in his absense from the castle. Hopefully not enough that he couldn't fix.

A grin rose on this face, one that would make the strongest of souls shiver. Saix pointed at the chair that had once belonged to the second in command known as Xigbar. "Take your new seat Demyx, you've more than earned it." His eyes followed Demyx as the young one rose up and had a seat in his new chair. Quirking his eyebrow a small chuckle came from his evil grin. "It's a bit higher up, don't fall off."

Closing the door behind him and then shutting his eyes for a moment, Saix floated himself up into the center of the room, between all the chairs, high enough for everyone to see. Floating there silently for a moment he opened his eyes and looked at all the members present. His face showed that he was in one hell of a mood, especially for him.

"Welcome back you who have no home in either world...I expect you have found your seats to be as you left them last. As you can plainly see, we are without our once proud leader and his second in command. Sad as it is to see them gone from us, we shall not faulter, but we will move on from this point. It has been such a long time since we searched for our real goal, we have lost sight, but it has been burned into my memory more than ever now. We need our hearts...Kingdom Hearts will bring us this. Do you understand why we are here again my companions in the shadow of the twilight? We are to reclaim what was lost, the long since gone Ansem Reports are our first goal, and on them is the key to attaining Kingdom Hearts! After that it is mere childsplay to attain what we lust for deep in our minds..."

Now moving over to his old chair, he scoffed. "I do not plan on playing second fiddle to anyone anymore as you can plainly see." Floating up to the seat next to Demyx, the seat that once belonged to someone he put all his faith in, he stared at it putting a large hand down on the arm rest and lowered his head in respect.

Raising his head he turned and took his seat in the old Superior's chair. Getting comfortable in his new 'home'. "We are once again, The Thirteenth Order."

Demyx had to admit, looking across the room at his, no...his FORMER chair...was a bit odd. This new chair didn't feel quite like home yet. Granted, the chairs were never really all that comfortable, but this one was just...foreign to him. Not to mention a hell of a lot higher than his old one had been.

Demyx spent a good portion of Saix's opening speech peering around at the others and the floor that was so far below. He had never really been good in these meetings, and his new position wasn't really helping that fact. Despite how distracted he looked, the young sitarist was actually listening. He just wasn't reacting as much as the others might.

As Saix concluded, Demyx's ears perked and he again focused his attention on the berserker. He still wasn't quite sure why Saix chose him of all people to be second in command...maybe eventually the truth would come out? Demyx wasn't able to see it, but he was perfect to lead beside someone like Saix. The little angelic would take Saix's orders mostly without question, and help the berserker regain respect from the others. Demyx, afterall, had placed his full faith in the other for quite some time now, despite how Saix had treated him.

Thoughts were torn at the sight of the red-headed Axel in his usual seat. Grinning, Demyx raised a paw to wave at his friend. Forget being calm in these meetings, he hadn't seen his friend in SO long!

Okay okay okay...have to make a GOOD impression. Calming himself down, Demyx forced himself to focus back on Saix's words. He could always visit Axel afterwards... Now, let's see. Saix mentioned finding some reports... Thinking back, the youth could remember Sora mentioning those reports....but saying that could be a rather bad idea. If Sora had actually killed them all in some previous life, mentioning that he had something they wanted would bring utter chaos to the room.

But...someone else had one. He KNEW it. So...who was it? Tail swishing a moment, Demyx suddenly froze. Something was in the chair... Reaching a paw down to grab it, the sitarist pulled out a piece of paper and eyed it curiously. A few moments later, and it clicked. Right, XIGBAR had one of the reports before, and here it was now! Perfect! A few moments into his new position as second in command, and already he was finding things their new Superior wanted.

Still moving with practiced laziness, Larxene rolled over in her chair, resting her elbows on one of the arms and perching her chin on her hands. She fixed their new 'leaders' with an impudent grin. "So we're officially giving them up as gone, then?" she said, not sounding particularly sad at the lost. Her tail swished back and forth above her as she eyed the pair. "Tell the truth, now. You just wanted to raid their closets, right?"
