My parents both know I DL it, as do my friends, my dad loves to rub it in though... every time he sees me DLing pics he says I'm DLing porn... It's all just fun and games, mainly because he loves seeing my face go bright red and me say I'm not, because 90% of what I Dl isn't porn... sweatdrop

wendy_moon I'm an open Yaoi lover. My parents both know I DL it, as do my friends, my dad loves to rub it in though... every time he sees me DLing pics he says I'm DLing porn... It's all just fun and games, mainly because he loves seeing my face go bright red and me say I'm not, because 90% of what I Dl isn't porn... sweatdrop %, eh? *giggle* I'm only an open Yaoi lover around my friends. I've brought at least two friends to the Yaoi-loving side, and I'm still in the process of influencing more. Now if my parents knew, I'd be in tons of, well, poop. My mum's a total homophobe, so we have arguments about all kinds of things that even hint homosexuality. My dad.. I have no idea if he's open-minded like me, but he doesn't know about my little Yaoi obsession either. The funny thing is, I had to use his Amazon account to buy both Gravitation and Fake. Plus when I was in London one time, I asked my mum to buy me two Yaoi Manga ("Only the Ring Finger Knows" and "Passion" Volume one); I couldn't buy it myself because the highest rating was 18+ ("Passion") but I told my mum the highest was 16+. The funny thing is, she didn't even check to see if I was lying. She just agreed on the condition that I paid her back. Also I keep all my Yaoi Manga and DVDs on my shelf in my room and neither of my parents bother to even ask about them, never mind look at them. Now if I can just manage to buy "Level C" on DVD without dad noticing the cover... (If you've seen the front cover of it, you'll know what I'm talking about.)

In other words 10% of what I DL could be considered as porn... which is what makes me turn red in the face when my dad does capture me. I mean, he knows I do it, but him catching me doing so and saying "She's DLing Porn again!" is rather embarrassing. sweatdrop *Hugs* I feels sorry for you, but it's good to know your parents haven't captured you. Wish I could buy all the stuff you have, it's a pain being broke. xp

Any time I want to buy a yaoi manga I have to save the little money I get and buy it myself becuase though mom wont really say anything if the cover doesnt reveal anything since she doesnt bother to glance at any of the pages my grandmother is the only one with a car and she loves the fact I always want to go to Barnes and Noble but she has to read a few pages and skim through as we stand on line, then she asks me what the story is about in depth on the ride home.
She did it once when I got the last two books of FAKE... I held my breath the whole time on line x-X She is afraid of me coloring even a strand of my hair and hearing I was splatter painting my room? Im still hearing about it(three mounths later), so her knowing about my yaoi loving would not be fun...She would never buy me another manga. crying But most of my friends know and dont care since they all are...then again they are also crazy. -nods-

Okay im in the same boat as Wildfire.
My friends say i should have been born a gay guy.
But funnily enough my parents a blind to my facinations.
they think im not interested in guys yet, Im 21 nearly for crying out loud.
I think they are still wearing the blinkers parents get when they finally have teenagers. xd
All my friends know i love Yaoi in ALL its forms.
Im a huge QAF fan.
Have images on the computer that no parent would want to see.
Thus i try and keep em in a file that parents cant work.
But then again i have many yaoi images on my bedroom walls so i really dont think my parent care. Or they dont have eyes at all.
My parents are confusing.
And finally i am continually told to lower my voice by friends when i say words like QAF, Yaoi, Boy love and "OMG he's hot, oh and his friend, they should date".
I am so not a closet yaoi gal.

Heh heh ^-^;; I'm secretly a yaoi lover only around my parental units. They're...well, not hardcore Bible thumpers, but they do see it as "unclean". I have my Kizuna Bonds of Love, Level C, Fake, and Boku no Sexual Harrassment (and I know I have one more that's really good...but I can't remember) animes all lent out right now. But usually I have'em hidden in a corner under my bed, closet, or behind my anime standees in my room. XD And I do have some yaoi manga...which is also hidden. ninja But...yeah, I wish I could be open with them about it, but I would get lectured every day until I moved out. Getting Bible versus tossed in my face daily is not something I enjoy. -_-;;; ((Don't get me wrong, I'm a Christian myself, I just dislike when it's constantly thrown in my face. I hope I didn't offend anyone by saying so. u_u ))

Some of my friends know, and one guys always calls me an 'evil hentai lesbian' (he's just being a dork about it... I threatened that I would send him yaoi pics via email ^^) I keep it a secret from my family. My dad is pretty close minded (and a little bit racist too...) and I tried giving hints to my sister, only to discvoer that she's homophobic. *sighs*

all my friends now and people i dont even know know that i like it but as for my familly. we dont really talk to each other enough to really get to the point that we are talking about things we like or dislike. and then even if i wanted to tell them they would have no idea what i was talking about and they would most likely just walk away from me. we're not close at all. they dont care what i do with my time or money.

My dad's much more skilled with a computer than I am (heck, he built his own computer before I was born o.o) but thankfully I have the upstairs pc in my room (at which I am currently sitting *waves*) so he can't spy on me then xd Thankfully they haven't so far (though I think my mum's getting a little suspicious, seeing as every time there's any hint at slash on TV, I can't help blurting out "aww, that's so cute!" and I just get an odd stare from her) but even if they do, I'll explain it's perfectly normal and there's no reason I can't like it. Besides, it might give me a chance to get into another debate with my mum and win, as always blaugh *Hugs* poor you for being broke. I currently own, well let's just say an extremely small amount of money, so you can tell I'm doing well xd it took me ages to save up for everything I have now (22 Manga, soon to be 25, and about.. *counts* 19 Anime DVDs, soon to be 20), but it's well worth it ^__^

My parents sorta know since they kinda caught me looking at Bakura/Ryou Yaoi pictures...>< They're from Yu-Gi-Oh! My parents thought I was looking at two GIRLS licking each other!!! gonk I told them it was yaoi. I think they forgot all about dat.... ninja
But if the world wants to know....I LOVE YAOI OPENLY!!!!!!!!!!
