After what seemed like an eternity, I have finally succeeded in acquiring those images off of my acquaintance concerning what I have named "The Coyote Incident". I've decided to make this thread as a warning to all who are or tend to be, or even know someone who is reckless in their dealing with the deceased; human or animal, it matters not. I don't want anyone to disturb a spirit like this again. This thread is all that I can really do to try to prevent it from happening again somewhere else..

The case file, so to speak, has been pretty much resolved. I did all that I could on my end..and I don't think that I can do anything else for him.

Warning: The subject matter depicted in the following images may be disturbing to some, seeing as they depict the skeletal remains of an animal. The psychically sensitive may pick up negative energetic impressions and possibly information/psychic impressions, either of which may or may not contain graphic content. Anyway..Read onward at your own risk.

I suppose I should start with when my acquaintances ended up getting involved with this mess.

One day after school, a girl I knew, we shall call her Amy, was hanging out with a couple of friends in the woods. It seemed just like any other day, until they stumbled across a mysterious skeleton suspended on the branch. Upon closer examination, they found it to be that of a large canine; that of a Coyote to be specific.

The skeleton was relatively bare, save a few tufts of fur on its paws.

Here is Amy with the skeleton, poking at it with a stick(Bad idea!):

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/Mage_Stanager/Coyote Project/100_1428.jpg

They took a few other pictures of it as well as a video panning shot of it, using the digital camera they had with them. However, the pictures didn't all turn out. Even though they may well be useless images, they can be found here: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/Mage_Stanager/Coyote Project/100_1429.jpg

and here: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/Mage_Stanager/Coyote Project/100_1432.jpg

The only other image that I have from that day that turned out, is the following one. I think it's a shot of its ribcage and spinal cord.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/Mage_Stanager/Coyote Project/100_1436.jpg

The next day, Amy had told a whole bunch of her other friends about their discovery in the woods the evening before. She had brought them to the location of the skeleton, which..unfortunately, only lead to more disrespect for the dead.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/Mage_Stanager/Coyote Project/100_1452.jpg

The above images of the guy hugging the skeleton are of Amy's boyfriend. For reference purposes, we will call him Daniel.

Then the final picture I have of that day's events is of another one of Amy's friends(We'll call him David), playing tug o' war with the skeleton: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/Mage_Stanager/Coyote Project/100_1453.jpg

Anyway, so as the teens were leaving, Amy has an idea. She suddenly decided that she wanted to have a fang as a souvenir of sorts. Well, since Daniel was morbid anyway, he removes the entire lower jaw and takes it home with him. He removed a fang from the jaw and gave it to his girlfriend.

The rest of the story mostly pertains to Amy, and her experiences with everything. She's the one that I've talked with the most about this subject. I hardly ever see Daniel and David around anymore.

It seemed like only days had passed and Amy was already starting to show symptoms of there being something wrong. She became jumpy, her eyes would dart all over the place, and she'd clamp her hands over her ears whimpering. I asked her what was wrong, and she told me that she kept hearing howling. I gave her the first warning to go and bury the fang and the skeleton. She didn't listen.

Her and her boyfriend decided to go camping pretty soon after that. That was when she took that blitzball picture that I had already posted. Just for reference it's this one: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y293/Mage_Stanager/other stuff/Orb.jpg

By the time she had returned from her trip, Amy had already started to become obsessive over the fang, and spewing out things that didn't sound in her character at all. I once asked if I could hold the fang and she snarled. She said that "It doesn't want to be held by someone whose energy is as pure as yours.". I dropped the subject for awhile and brought it back up awhile later. She said she didn't know what she meant by that at all. She also showed me the orb picture. I gave her the second warning to go bury it. She also failed to listen.

By the end of that week I had made an agreement with her. I give her something that was precious to me for the duration of the weekend, and in return she loans me the fang for the weekend. As soon as she placed the fang in my hand, I felt it burn. It was radiating crimson energies that were so intense, that they were unlike anything I had ever felt. They actually made me feel sick..and kinda edgy, kinda anxious. I think I may have been picking up emotional energies from the spirit of the animal whom the fang belonged to.

Anyway, that evening, I had tried to calm the spirit down. I did all that I could. I burned a sage bundle, lit white candles..everything. I managed to calm it down a little..but not by a whole lot. I tried to tell the spirit that I meant it no harm at all..and maybe it heard me..maybe it listened. I like to think that it did. Anyway..

So, I placed it in a small blue velvet pouch with a chunk of charged and purified Rose Quartz. I figured that since Rose Quartz was a calming stone, maybe it could help to keep the spirit calmer. I gave the pouch to Amy the next time that I had seen her.

She stopped coming to school for awhile shortly after that. I don't know where she went, but she went off somewhere with Daniel.

Anyway, summer passed and I hadn't heard from her for months..Well..aside from brief MSN conversations over the summer. She still seemed to be in pretty bad shape.

Come this fall, I'd ran into her after what had been at least a month or two of not seeing her at all, and seeing very little of her when I did. She gave me back the Rose Quartz and the bag, telling me that she had buried the fang. That apparently wasn't enough.

The stone now carries the same kind of energy as the fang did. It is my belief that the spirit anchored itself to the stone for some reason. I think it wants the skeletal remains as well as the stone to be all buried in the same place.

This is why it's not over yet. I may take a picture of the Rose Quartz..but I plan to get Amy to take me to the site of the remains(if they're still there) in the next few weeks if possible. The sooner the better. If I can't get out there..then..I'll have to figure out what to do with the Rose Quartz..

November 17th, 2005:

I've been way overdue for an update here. On the day of October 30th, I sat down and tried to cleanse the stone with sage, white candles and incense. Afterwards, I headed out to the woods and I left an offering for the spirits of the land to let me bury the stone. I went forth and buried the stone, cleansing the earth with a mixture of salt**ter and incense ash...

I haven't had the spirit's energies around me lately, so I figure he's either grounded to the stone..or he's moved on to somewhere else..perhaps wandering somewhere else, seeking the revenge he desires.

I am thankful for the input that some of you posted about the spirit and the impressions you received based on those picutres. It has helped me to understand the matter a litle more..and hopefully, with that knowledge, if there is anything more that I can do for that spirit(should I encounter him again) to help him to become calm and at rest(within legal boundaries of course)..then hopefully with that knowledge I'll be able to do something.

Some more background information on this, based on the impressions that people have received..

WoW... I got such bad empthy from that. I would get a visin of what had happend to the cayot before deth then my whole body would like jump. Those poeple are going to pay (not just the ones in the picture). Something is after them and will not give up so easy. I do not know what it is, but a death bringer... Sorry about that, but when I get a vision and a feeling of fear so deep that death sounds good>>> I have to say it for some reason.

Even though this may have not been the actual reason for the ritual..Here is what jsav666 said that the ritual may have been about, and provides some details as to what may have happened during the ritual..
jsav666 Wrote:
In demonology Bune is a Great Duke of Hell, mighty and strong, who has thirty legions of demons under his command. He changes the place of the dead and makes them demons that are under his power to gather together upon those sepulchres. Bune makes men eloquent and wise, and gives true answers to their demands and also richness. He speaks with a comely high voice. Bune is depicted as a three-headed dragon, being his heads like those of a dog, a griffin, and a man (although according to some grimoires he has two heads like a dragon and the third like a man). someone conjured Bune... or a greater minion of Bune. He changes the place of the dead and makes them demons that are under his power to gather together upon those sepulchres. Bune makes men eloquent and wise, and gives true answers to their demands and also richness. Bune is depicted as a three-headed dragon, being his heads like those of a dog, a griffin, and a man a dog... like a coyote... it could be something else, but this seems like it might be it.

jsav666 Wrote:
to summon him, i would assume that 3 more sacrifices would have to be made. a dragon, a large reptile would do the trick and a bird of prey, like a hawk, osprey, something along those lines lastly, most likely some sort of sacrifice to show dedication, and to open the pathway, this sacrifice does not have to be animal, it can be written, as in poetry. it can also be an abstract thing, such as spreading the word of this demon, worshiping him, that sort of thing. but it will probably be done on Samhain. i'll do what i can from here. WARNING THE FOLLOWING IS GRAPHIC by the way, i had a vision last night. i had a vision of the sacrifice. it was the most terrible thing i've ever witnessed. mind you, i started on my bed, and came out of the vision on the floor clutching the carpet. i saw them skin it alive, and drink its blood out of it's cut jugular, then make a circle of blood around the area with its blood, and then the teenager (only person i saw, cant tell if male or female) hut his or her wrist and let the blood pour into the middle of the circle. then next thing i saw, was the coyote supspended from the branch, i believe the circle was nearby. the last thing i saw, was kind of like a ripple coming out of the coyote as soon as i heard shouted word that started with an S... something like somai, or sloman, something like that... in any case, as i said, i'll do what i can from here.

jsav666 Wrote:
from what it would seem, he was not summoned, thankfully, they were probably not aware of how EXACTLY to summon him. however, if he were to come through, he would most likely posses someone/thing. Mind you, the whole Bune thing is a conjecture... if you guys have any other ideas, it would be great to hear them.

Even though that whole Bune thing was a theory, it is a possible reason why the coyote had been sacrificed..but the real reason behind it is anyone's guess.. More information did come though by Chels Chels, who stumbled across this guild by chance. I am glad that they did, though, they ended up getting a strong psychic impression that, if it was indeeed accurate, shed some light on the spirit's background...
Chels Chels Wrote:
Found this guild by way of the banner in Psychelapis' signature... Anyway, I read through parts of this thread [have not yet looked at the images], but I thought I might mention to you that the coyote is a sacred animal...The Trickster in Native American myths and legends. He was, in some myths, depicted as a Creator. Has he been put to rest, yet? If not and you've tried other methods, why not perform a Shamanic cleansing ritual over the quartz and the ground the ritual was held? Or at least where the remains were found? Spirits are often restless when seeking revenge, no one will find rest that has come into contact with those who preformed the ritual, those who desecrated the ritual grounds, and those who have come into contact with the remains until the spirits that have been harmed find their peace. Ok. I just looked at that Coyote's picture. It made me want to vomit. Now, I have no problem at all with the dead, skeletons, the smell of Death, etc. Nor do I have a weak stomach... My head hurts... He was once a beautiful being and was well received by his peers. His sacrifice has caused a problem in his pack. He wants respect. Revenge. And will not rest until he is at peace with what has been done to him. By those who sacrificed him...and those that mocked him. His name is Cain. Or something close to that. His spirit is majestic and angry. He had family. He knew Death was coming for him, he caught it's scent on the wind once or twice. But not like this...not the dignified Death of old age or the glorified Death while on the Hunt. This was distasteful, disgraceful, and dishonorable. He had brownish-gray fur, a white patch on his chest, and white-ish paws. There was white around his eyes going down his nozzle. A beautiful coyote. Large eyes, too. He was curious about the two legged beings. Now he hunts them. Everytime I see a picture of that coyote. I see it's face. But, at least now that I'm done typing that my head feels a lot better. Though I can't get the taste of blood outta my mouth. Which is weird. The whole thing is just weird. I feel horrible for the coyote...and his fellows. They didn't deserve that at all. *sigh* ...And, now my apologies for posting in a guild not my own. If I stuck my nose in where I shouldn't have, I offer you my apologies. *takes a short bow and runs off to hide in case people get angry* [No clue if any of the stuff on the coyote is accurate. It just sort of...typed itself. The last time I really recognize having typed anything was when I said my head hurt. That was around 10:30...it's 10:50 now. Weird. o.o']

sounds like the negative psionics got stuck on the remains.
Never poke dead things with sticks, since it might give you negative phsychic energy, or they might not be dead and just bite you.
Either way, not smart.

Wow,
That is so disrespectful. That poor, poor, poor, poor, POOR animal. Sounds like she's pissed off the underworld. This only goes to show you that you should have respect for the dead. And no offense to your friend or anything but I think it serves her right. And I'd say this about anyone, even me. That's just, horrible! That poor animal might of died painfully, and she (along with her friends) are only adding to it's pain.

She really needs to bury the tooth and the skeleton. The jaw too, because it does sound, (like Arch-Omega said) there is some negative psiconics are hanging around her. I hope she's okay though. Message me so I know she's okay. (B/c I know what it's like to be haunted by something >< smile

hmm I've never had an animal do that to me.

well I think when I was little I did poke a dead squirrel, but a coyote is a very special spirit animal. The native Americans always held them dear and never wanted harm to them. Coyotes dont liek to hut people, but the newer people hated animals.

I did get to see my boyfriends cat after it died. it came to me and said goodbye. It knew that it hadn't done anything wrong, and it just came in and sat on my lap for a while then disappeared and I assume its spirit now rests peacefully.

I have seen orca spirits before but they were very faint, what else have I seen?

hmm haven't really seen people spirits, but I have seen a ton of angels. I know that I did once or twice try to contact the other world but that didn't work. I still have my Ouija board and I don't use it. when people ask me to bring it out then I do but I am very careful and it has some instructions with it. I might be able to bring out some stones next time and some other things, like incense and white candles to keep everything calm.

I haven't had any visions like some of us here but I know my brother has at least once.

That animal died in great terror and not even in death does that poor creature have peace from crual people. Though no human being should suffer. I must say I feel no sadness for your friend. Never ever take something like that from the dead. When I looked at the pictures I was sickened that that poor animal had to suffer. But also I sensed the energy that was taken in the photos. That coyote was very angry that those teenagers did that. Hopefully the coyote has found peace.

This is why whenever I do gravestone rubbings or even take picutes I'm always respectful, and never joke. I don't really have any psychic powers to speak of (a deam flash once in a while), but my impression was that that Cyote was probably killed as a joke, probably related to booze and drugs. Male teenagers, most likely. It's sick either way.

Once a year your friend should go back to that place and leave a small offering. it only seems right.

Yes, they should do that, leave some form of offering. Perhaps a prayer should be done as well at each visit. Fill the air with positive energy. But be careful with offering with food, you relay shouldn’t do that out side, cause other animals will be attracted to the food and become to dependent on the food you offer. But making visits and helping out at animal shelters and offering food to the animals, may help. When you make a offering, you should also say that this is for that coyote spirit.

Yea...that was seriously bad move on your friends part. Its strange how mad I am at them.....not just cause what they did was wrong...I feel as if they messed with one of my dead relatives graves or something.....strange right...sense I should be that kind of mad

I think you should definitely feel like that. I'm furious. I have extremely high regard and utmost respect for the dead. Whatever the species (except bugs. I don't like bugs). What they did was very disrespectful and they should make amends.
