"Look, Grey. I don't know how t'deal with a brat, either, no matter how cute... it... may be. So, the best thing I can think of with a weirdo like ya, is t'just get y'some books on the subject."
Turner blew a few strands of hair from her eyes, and took a book from the shelf, blowing dust from it's cover, and snorting, brows raised toward Greyson, who was holding the black and rainbow-haired Vekja.
"Let's not get this'un. Anythin' this old cannae be good."
Greyson frowned uncomfortable, and shifted the wriggling baby in his arms. Veki loved books, he'd found. Maybe he should pick up some kids' ones? He was really unsure about this whole 'being a dad' thing.

One could not possibly be more uncomfortable then Pash was right now. He was walking through a book store with a baby strapped to his chest. According to some net file or another snugglies were the best way to carry babies, it made them feel most secure and kept your arms free. Pash had no clue is this was true or not, all he knew as that Anao would go face first into the floor if he tried to hold her, she was never ever still.
Heading into an isle of parenting books he searched for something brightly coloured and with a seal on it. Anything award winning or approved was probably the best for a begginer like himself. He felt his nose itch as lingering dust was breathed in.
Anao too breathed in dust, she on the other hand sneezed three short rapid baby sneezes then looked orange orange eyes filled with wonder. What had just happened?

Their section of the store was empty, other than Turner, Vekja, Greyson and.... Some new guy. He arrived with a small child, that didn't look exactly normal, not that in Gaia people weren't used to that. Orange eyes. Of course, Veki's black and rainbow hair wasn't exactly normal for a babe either. Turner, the more forward of the two, stepped up, and winked up at Pash, grinning.
"You're a newbie too, mmmn? I'm Turner, that's my cousin Greyson, and the littl'un is Vekja."
Pausing, she reached back with her right, unbandaged hand, and motioned for Greyson to hand over Veki, which he promptly did.
"We're tryin' t'find some books, but this'un is gettin' in the way. Mind lettin' yours distract it?"
Yes, it. Vekja had no gender.

Pash smiled at the extroverted woman " I'm Pash and this is Anao , yeah being a new parents isn't easy.." That was the understatement of the year, babies were terrors cute adorable next generation of hope terrors.
He eyed the other baby and smiled a bit " I suppose if they play togeather they'll be less likely to get into trouble." that made sense didn't it, two babies distracted each other and got into no trouble while a baby alone destroyed everythign it touched.
Carefully unstrapping Anao is placed her on the ground, " They shouldn't go very far right?" Was he hopeless oh yes.

Turner snickered, and deposited Vekja by the collar of the onesie blackbear suit s/he was wearing and stretched, before eyeing Pash, and jerking her cousin closer by his arm.
"Just you with the baby, then? Greyson got his from... Some dream or something, haha. Apparently other people did too, some chick..."
"Niki," supplied Grey, before Turner continued.
"... Yeah, Niki, got twins or something. An oracle, don'tcha know."
Veki didn't seem overly interested in Anao at first, instead tugging a book close to themself off the shelf, so s/he could skim hands over it, obviously pleased. The little creativity god/dess love anything that took talent, and inspired others with a touch. Now, though, eyes raised to Anao, and a gorgeous grin appeared.
"Awwwo!"

Pashe's seagreen eyes widened ands he fingered the tip of his olive coloured ponytail. "That's how I got Anao I love her but I'm glad there's just one of her." He grinned at the other man " How did you die? I apparently became allergic to the mustard in my sandwich." What a sad way to die even if not really.
Anao stared at all the of the other babies, well it was really just one baby she knew but it was her doing different stuff. To see in this way was confusing but it was all Anao remebered so she had adjusted to it from the moment she opened her eyes.
As Veki went from Paying attention to a book to her she returned the child's smile. "Awwwo" this too she mimicked though with a different tone. What would the other do next she wondered.

Greyson colored slightly, and rubbed the back of his head before mumbling, voice soft and uncertain.
"Skull crushed by falling paintcan."
Turner was having trouble not laughing at their "manly and heroic" deaths.
Vekja wanted to touch her. The dark babe reached out, until their fingertips were less than an inch away from Anao's body. Already the powers were active in the baby, and the other child should feel a jolt of creative impulse, just from the brief touch. The urge to create.
"'M Vehkee."

Pash winced at the revelation, he'd had worse war wounds but those were real and they had a purpose. " I think this Oracle might be more than a bit sadistic." He almost couldn't wait to meet other guardians and see if his theory was correct.
Anao let lose a squeal and wriggled back, she hadn't seen that one coming. Still it wasn't a wholly bad experience, it just left her with the desire to make the lines in the food again. Sadly there was no food or wet things around.
Regaining her composure she crawled back to where she had been. " Waa?" What had the other done and would she do it again, these were things Anao needed to know. They were certainly more important than an introduction.
