Fedha'Kialio did not know what to do with himself. He did not know where to go, or who to seek comfort in. In fact.. he wasn't sure anyone would give him the comforts he needed. He sighed deeply. He was a little confused right now, and he wasn't sure what he was supposed to do with the Ausi deal. She would have had his child if not for the miscarrage... but how honest could he be with himself if he told himself he was upset over it? You're disgusting. Why hadn't he had a vision about it?
He needed something to lift his spirits up, get him back on track. Or a vision telling him what to do.. something, anything. These southlands were driving him insane! Maybe he would go back home for a little while. To his birthlands, no where else could be considered his actual home.
The southlands were slowly driving him insane, sucking out all of his energies and wants and plans. The endless land of grass. Nothing but grass it sometimed seemed, and he was lucky when he found a tree or a rock to sleep on or near.
"What the hell.." He huffed. Why was he thinking about s**t like that? Probably to distract his mind from Ausi...

Once again Baku found himself in the need of amusement and was having quite a bit of trouble finding anyone who seemed interesting enough to bother. True, there was always Kiburi but ever since the wench left the Firekin her life has been boring at best. Baku wasn't one for the mushy love stuff and she and that mate of hers just churned his stomach. One day he'd pay the couple a visit but for now he sought other entertainment.
Finding nothing in the marsh Baku transported himself to the southlands in search of some fun. Gliding in the sky, the growing Immortal gazed down upon the world below. A few hyenas, leopards, cheetahs...nothing really worht his time. There went a pack of wild dogs and...hello! Now that one looked promising. Green orbs studied the lone form below before circling the loner onces, twice in the air before dropping down to the ground a good distance away. Folding his wings upon his back, Baku trotted through the annoyingly tall grass to where Fedha was. Eyes glistening with a hint of mischief as he parted through the grasses to where the loner was, just in time to hear his words.
"A little, preoccupied are we? Disgusted? Annoyed?" The God smirked as he stopped a few feet away from Fedha'Kialio. "You look like a lion who is ready to turn his back upon the world."

Fedha grunted and his gaze flickered over to the other's form. Just what he needed right now, another moron. Though in some part of his mind he knew Baku was correct, Fedha did want to turn his back on the world. At least, on the mortal world.
"You look like a nosey git." He shot back, giving a faux-overly-nice smile to the stranger. "And might like to learn to mind your own business, mm?" He was speaking as if an elder to a cub. Though in all honesty Fedha had done that all his life, he never waited to be fully grown first.

Baku looked at Fedha with little care of the insults thrown in his direction. Baku's invisible wings adjusted themselves,a faint jingle of metal rinign in the air but with no distinct direction from which it came. Sometimes, it was fun to play a mortal, if only to see how the pathetic fools viewed him when walking in their paws.
"No, now. Such petty insults will do not a thing to me." He smirked and sat down as his tail curled around his haunches, the white tip gently tapping the ground with a steady beat. "Besides, I couldn't possibly pass up your...state of mind." Baku's smirk turned into a grin as he turned his head to the side, white mane flicking across his eyes at the movement before bouncing back. Green orbs glanced to the sky before flicking in Fedha's direction. "A little...disgusted are we?" That smirk returned to his face. "How sad it is that mortal lives are so unfulfilling. Life comes and goes with little purpose nor with any directions as to which way would make that short life all the more easier. Such a pity."

Fedha was about to move away from Baku, he didn't even care at this point, when he mentioned Fedha's state of mind. Fedha's eyes immedietly narrowed and he looked sideways at Baku. Mortals. "Ah do you pity us because this is the life you live as well, or because the life you live is so much greater?" Fedha murmered, still standing. He had met many gods... but really he couldn't confirm weather Baku was a god in hiding or not yet. Especially when his mind felt so foggy.
"And yes, very disgusted. But why would it matter? It had nothing to do with you and it still is... as I said... none of your business."

"Now what fun would it be if I answered that question?" He smiled as the tip of his tail gave one final beat on the ground before the adolescant rose to all four paws. Claws dug into the dry ground as he stretche dout his front half before proceeding to stretch out the back. After a good shake of his head and body he turned his attention back to Fedha. "Whether it's business of mine or not, you've intrigued me and I think I shall continue to stick around. I am far from having anything better to do as it is." That smirk of his returned, green orbs glittering. "Looks like you're stuck with me whether you like it or not."
To prove his point, Baku sturtted boldly towards Fedha and rubbed his side againt the mortals before leaping away and turning to face him. "You better learn to like me or else this could be a rather...eh...taxing time for you."

Fedha's eyes narrowed more and more as he continued to talk. With the rub a low hiss slid from Fedha's mouth and he jerked back. He'd come to dislike touching others, though for some reason it was alright with Ausi. "Do that again and we shall find out about taxing times." He snarled, tail flicking back at a rather quick rate.
Stuck with him? He didn't think so. "Thanks but no thanks, I've no need for your company." He rose as well and started to move away, ears pressed into his floof of a mane.

Baku laughed. "You're far from intimidating." His laughter continued as he circled around Fedha. "You mortals are just far too humerous!" He continued his laughing for a moment before realizing what he said. With a mocking sigh and shrug of his shoulders, his appearance melted away as he allowed his true self to appear before Fedha. "I am afraid I am none-too-good with pretending to be like your kind. Oh well, I much prefer my immortal self."
Stretching his wings the chains on his wings jingled softly as he gave Fedha a mocking bow. "Baku, God of Nightmares." With a snap his wings folded back in on his sides and he lazily sat back down among the tall grass.

Well if he wasn't intimidating it was hardly his fault. He didn't like being scary and he'd decided that being scary was also a big part of intimidating others. Or maybe that was all just a bunch of bull to make himself stay feeling well.
His brows raised and he stopped moving away, gaze glued to the unmasked god. Ah, so it wasn't just some annoying lion... it was an annoying god. Fedha sighed to himself and wondered why he ever wanted to be around these creatures in the first place.
"FedhaKialio." He said simply, his gaze lingered on them a moment before snapping back to Baku's eyes. He didn't know gods could have leathery wings.

Baku didn't miss Fedha's staring. Far from actually. With a smirk the God re-opened his wings so they sat relatively comfortable while propped open. It was far too much work to keep them fully extended but this lazy half-opened position was easy enough to maintain without any strain.
"Now you know my little secret." Baku grinned as he padded toward Fedha, passing by him with only his wing grazing the older lion's mane. "Not that I particularly care." He said with a wave of his paw after he had turned around to face Fedha once again. "I much prefer my Godly appearance than the mortal one. Plus, you mortals are just so odd. I can never keep up appearances."

Fedha rolled his eyes softly and shifting away from the wing that had brushed it. Baku was lucky he didn't feel the need to rip at it with his teeth. He just showed his teeth to the other in response.
After a minute though his thoughts had been collected. "Odd, indeed. Are you always this persistant in hanging around them?" Fedha murmered, brows raising in mock curiousity.

"Not always. Only a select few of having the honor of my prescence." He said as he lifted up his paw to look at an ant that had managed to clamber up onto him. Eyes watched the insect for a few moments before a quick flick of his paw knocked the creature from his fur.
He turned his attention back to Fedha. "I have apparently dubbed you one of the few honored." With a smirk her added. "You should feel quite privilaged."

Fedha sat himself down and stared at Baku, gaze annoyed and hard. "Oh, so it is completely wrong for me to be feeling annoyed at impatient with your company then?" He raised one brow and stood again, again he was attempting to walk away from the god.

Baku just smirkes at Fedha's retort but said nothing. Instead, he watched the plae hued lion begin to walk off. With a glint in his eyes, Baku stood his ground and spoke loudly enough that Fedha would head. "You know, that's not the smartest of things, walking away from me. I can easily find you and make your sleep as much as a living hell as your wake time." Walking from me now will only seal your fate for many fit filled nights to come."

Fedha glanced over his shoulder, and he was feeling rather stubborn. "My nights are already a hell I can not escape." He breathed out. It was half true, sometimes visions were pleasent but more often now they'd made his sleeps uncomfortable, and then downright terrifying. And he'd realized that these visions came more and more, from having hardly any as a cub to now having them almost every night, all night as an adult. It was very wearing. "Give it your best shot Baku, I do not fear the gods." But he should have! He smirked as he turned his attention back to his path again.
