Several popular visual kei bands are making their way across the Pacific to play for their growing numbers of American fans. Dir en Grey is going to have their 1st headlining tour. Blood is returning in May to make their second round. And Finally, Mana is going to make his concert debut with Moi Dix Mois"sometime in spring". Here is a topic to post any other tour/concerts/events that are going to happen in the US. Help your fellow jrockers and hopefully we can see each other at shows. post links to sites selling tickets!!!

The Dir en Grey concert is coming up fast.
A bunch of my friends are going.
I'm not going to bother with it though.
They're not the same band they were when I started listening to them.
Just seeing my former heroes wouldn't be worth it.
Most of their new music is just noise to me.
I can get that staying at home with my sisters. x.x

I will forever be a faithful and loyal Diru supporter/fan. They may not be what they used to, but they still kick some major a**. And their concerts are BRILLIANT. I would really like to see Blood and MDM, but I doubt I'll have the cash. ><;

I'm still going to the Diru concert though I'll probably be motivated to crush a few scene kids by the end of the night.
Its a weird thing for me...you just HAVE TO see them once in your life. I grew up with them, I gotta do it, even if they're moving ina direction I don't really like and their fans are just getting more and more annoying.

I saw blood their 1st time in LA and they kicked major a**, I am going gto get tickets for MDM... Diru is sold out on their good seats. I don't want to see them with a telescope...

I wish other visual kei bands would come over here, like 12012, Ayabie, D`espairs Ray, etc. (that I like) and have big tours, you know...close to places everyone lives so I could see it...That'd rock...Oh well, fantasies... cry

I was supposed to go, but jumped at the chance to study in Beijing instead. It was a toss up...responsibility or pleasure, you know? ::sighs:: I dont regret going to China, but damn...Mucc is AMAZING live and I missed it. They better come back >_< I wonder if D'espairsRay is going to play in the US any time soon, again. I know theyre on their Japan tour right now, so it might be a while, but I never tire of them live.

This is gonna be my 4th+ time seeing Diru live. Everytime its amazing and they put on a good show. I saw BLOOD before and met mana & 12012 when they went to AX. Im meeting Duel Jewel in a month at katsucon in Washington DC and having dinner with hayato.
I have met so many and been to so many jrock concerts but i'd really love to see an cafe, LM.C, or someone like that come over.
but anyways im going to see diru again and if MDM does come over i prolly will go see them and im going to see BLOOD again. :] should be fun.

Then they kicked him out and quality dropped pretty badly. Pierrot live woulda been interesting, they put on a good show. But X Japan, man...there hasn't been a band like them since. The Jrock world is so much less without them. True showmen and true musicians who were in it for the craft and loved their fans.
