Waking, these three Legends find themselves in a blindingly lit room. The centre of the room houses too many lightbulbs to count, all with wattages that hurt the eye to look upon. There is a window set into the far wall, but it appears to have been blackened save for a small patch, and closer inspection would reveal the glass is too thick to break through.

There appear to be no means of escape, save for the door opposite the window. Has anyone checked if it's locked...?

What will Naeva, Karan and Mayu do?

Mayu found it hard to sleep in the searing bright lights, although they were slightly dulled behind closed eyelids. She scrunched her face up, apparently displeased that her dream had been disrupted by this change in lighting conditions --- she slept with the lights off now, save for a few nightlights placed around her room to illuminate major areas in the event that she got up while it was still dark.

She rolled over onto her other side, finding it no better.

"Kimiko, when did you install new lighting fixtures in my room?" the child slurred sleepily, giving up any hope of stealing a few more winks of sleep before her set waking time. She sat up, eyes still closed, walking across the room to where her window would usually be to pull the curtains back. There were no curtains in her hands.

Opening her eyes, and immediately cursing herself for doing so, Mayu found herself in an unfamiliar room. She clasped her hands over her aching eyes, giving them some form of relief as she attempted to assess the situation.

The sound of footsteps nearby gave no comfort to the uneasy feeling Naeva was developing in the pit of her stomach, the cold damp concreate replaced the comforting smell of her bed as she stroked the floor with a shaking hand.

"Where am I?"she questioned as she brought back her now weary hand, rubbing her eyes vigeresly as if to bring some normality back to the situation. Opening her grey orbs the bright lights struck her vision sharply as she tried to peer out across the room, the blinding watts hitting her as she pulled back into the fetus position, arms covering her head to bring back the darkness.

"Ack, where am I? Hello? Anybody there?" She shouted out to the walls and the dazzerling lights, Naeva hadn't spotted the other two legends yet but with panic slowly raising through her body she had already decided she didn't want to open her eyes again.
The thought that the lights reveling more than a headache to her frightened her to the bone as the sickening thoughts of her past life crepted up into her consciousness, the memories of being held captive, tortured and cruley killed convusled inside her mind.

Suddenly Naeva could no longer control her breathing and the young legend began to hyperventalte as she grasped at her chest and fanticly looked around the room for help, peering up to catch the back of Mayu walking towards one of the walls.

The moment Karan opened his eyes he regretted it. The red he saw when they were closed should have been warning enough, but instinct told him to wake up and look around. Probably Xue had the curtains open again. If that was the case, he would have to give his roommate another talking to. The sun always hurt his eyes.

Not this much, however. As soon as the full brunt of the light touched his eyes he screamed and shut them again, putting both hands over his closed lids. Even sunlight didn't hurt that badly. This was something different, something unnatural. He didn't dare move his hands, instead trying to listen to gauge what was going on.

There were voices. He wasn't alone, then, and for a fleeting moment he felt safer. Then he heard them again. They weren't familiar voices. Moreover, they were female voices, and that fact alone set Karan on edge. Was it some sort of practical joke? Was he on Candid Camera? Was it some sort of twisted revenge for something he did? Whatever the case, he had to get to the bottom of it.

"I'm here," he muttered in response to Naeva's question. "Who're you, and what's going on?"

The sudden voice to Naeva's side made her jump as if bolts had gone though the floorboards, the legend's hand quickly position itself tightly over her beating heart as she tried to calm her nerves down with 'do it yourself' fast meditation.
Naeva caught the sight of the young boy and not wanting to look crazy and stressed gave a forced smile as she breathed in and out rapidly.

"My name is Naeva and I don't know...I don't know where we are...I've only just woken up myself, I was asleep at home and now...and now this? Where are we?"
She questioned as if hoping the boy was just joking and knew all and that this was all just a game, a sick, horrible game.

"Hey...hey...Mayu? Is that you?" Naeva shouted as her vision adjusted to the light, the bright flash of pink and white bringing memories of the other legend flooding back. "Do you know what’s going on?"

The child spouted out a stream of curses in Japanese, stomping about the room with her hands over her tearing eyes.

"Today sucks!" she proclaimed, dropping to the floor with her eyes still closed to knead her aching feet. It probably would not have been such a bad situation if she had at least been allowed to put a pair of shoes on and perhaps a jacket before she had been kidnapped, but the Legend had nothing but a pair of pajamas on.

It was not a good day.

Mayu replied to Naeva's question with a sullen 'no', laying back down on her side and curling up into a small ball. She wanted to get at least another half-hour of sleep in before having to deal with those stupid lights again.

Naeva? Karan had never heard that name before. But it, and the other voice in the room, sounded like a girl. There were no male voices that he could hear. Which meant that he was trapped somewhere, somewhere that felt like blinding him painfully, in his pajamas, with some girls. And not even reasonable girls at that. If there were such things, Karan mused sullenly.

"You're right," he admitted to one of the girly voices, keeping his hands plastered over his eyes. The Japanese screaming wasn't especially coherent, but her one statement in English described the situation perfectly. "Today totally sucks."

The question was what to do next. Karan, for one, wasn't going to sit there idly while whatever psychopath that brought them there planned things he didn't even want to think about. But he wasn't in very good shape. Even if the lights dimmed right away- not likely, but possible- he still wouldn't be able to see much. And there might not even be anything to see, or a way out. No, there had to be. They'd gotten in somehow, after all.

"I'm Karan," he said suddenly, remembering his manners. That girl had at least given her name. "Can you see anything? A way out? I don't think we should wait for whoever put us here to get back." If they planned on returning, Karan thought with a shudder. It was probably best to leave that thought unsaid.

Naeva tried patiently to get her breath back to a normal pace, her panic was clouding her senses and she quietly scolded herself for being so childish. Hearing Mayu lie down with her answer echoing in her ears Naeva gave a glance towards the boy named Karen.
Having never laid eyes on him before she quickly let herself forget her situation and tried to sense his Aura, although it wasn't the best idea at this moment for sensing peoples thoughts and feelings, it was pretty clear that all three where feeling the same emotions.

"I haven’t seen a thing, only you guys and even that’s making my eyes hurt, no offence. Can’t we...can't we hit out the lights or something? I Know for one thing that I can only sense you guys in the room, which means no one is waiting for us...I hope...am not that use to this aura sensing deal..."

Naeva found herself blabbering, a usual occurrence when her fears and emotions ran riot in her. If she where a child again she knew her thoughts would be concentrating on screaming, but she no longer had that.

"We need to get out of here, like you said, if am wrong and there is someone coming back I don't want to be here to welcome them. I want to go home."

"Well, yeah," Mayu grumbled, turning over to find a better position to sleep in. "We could knock out a few of the lights,"--- another grumble as she turned over once more ---"but I'm pretty sure that none of us wears handguards when we're sleeping, or a pair of shoes. Even if we could knock out the lights without getting too close or using our hands, I'm pretty sure that you don't want to be stepping on broken glass barefoot."

It was basic logic, really. Now, if the odd chance that one of them would have a hard object on hand and a way to get around the pieces of glass without cutting themselves in the process, that would be a perfect plan.

Mayu wasn't quite sure why she was replying to the question in the first place; she hadn't a clue who she was talking to at all, she had been too focused on stomping around blindly before to hear the introductions. However, she didn't really care at the moment --- the child just wanted to go home and catch up on some sleep without being blinded by some stupid lights.

Karan listened as he heard one girl make a suggestion, and the other one refute it. It was all very frustrating and upsetting, and he didn't even try to make sense out of the one's confusing statements about "auras" and the other's annoying sarcasm. "Look, what've we got?" he asked brusquely. "I've just got my pajamas and my robe. And," he added slowly, "a mirror, but I'm not sure what good that would do. We're all pretty blind already."

Then he reconsidered something he'd heard and paused. "Wait. Did you say you could see us? Can you see a way out? Or a lightswitch or anything?"

Although the pink girl made perfect sense she couldn't help but feel resentment towards her, all she was trying to do was help; it wasn't like she was coming up with any great plans of her own.

"Fine I was just saying, I can hardly be blamed for not thinking straight in this sort of situation. We'll ignore that plan and just concentrate on getting out of here..."

Pulling her legs up close to her chest Naeva sighed in frustration, she didn't need this right now. She was still messed up, well, Matisha’s in words anyway, and being thrown in a blindly lit room with two strangers wasn't sending herself on the way of recovery. Not concentrating on Karan's words Naeva just nodded slightly, forgetting where she was for a moment until it dawned on her what the question meant.

"You can't see me? I know its bright but I can make you guys out, sure your blurry and I would rather have my eyes shut right now but I can see you..."

Not wanting to question why she could through this light only that she knew she could see perfectly fine in the dark, why not the light too? Naeva shielded her eyes from the above light to help her vision more, looking past Mayu she could make out a black box or something, blurry as it was she could see from its height upon the wall it was a window of sorts, although she hesitated on that answer, if it was indeed a window it was a blocked exit, the blackness only echoed that of something behind it stopping their escape.
Taking a glance back towards Karan she squinted past the young legend to see a larger more lighter image on the opposite wall, again the size and shape reflected a door to freedom, but although her eyesight more sharper than those around her she didn't want to bring up false hopes.

"I think...I think I can see a window but it looks too 'blacked out' to be a means of escape, I could be wrong though...and...and behind you Karan, if you can make it out, there looks to be a door...well...it looks like a door...God I hope it is..."

Mayu sat up, slightly annoyed, her eyes still shut tight. The light was just bearable behind closed eyes, and she didn't quite feel like scorching another image into her retina just yet.

Nodding to Naeva's last statement, she thought silently, clasping a hand over her eyes so that she could think in peace without the annoyance of the dull light urging her to open her eyes.

"Go closer to the window," she suggested, "there might be a clasp on it that we could break off. Or is it too high up to crawl through?"

She thought once more, smacking her head in the stupidity of the suggestion that she was about to make. But all suggestions were valid in a situation like this, even the most obvious ones.

"Go check the door too, see if it's locked. And what's it made out of? We might be able to break it down if it's wood.."

The fact that this Naeva girl could see, even a little, and he couldn't, both annoyed and embarrassed Karan. Why could she see and he couldn't, couldn't even take his hands away from his eyes without hurting? It made him feel silly and useless. But at least one of them could see, and saw a door. If he found his way over to it, he could get them all out, and then he'd be the big hero.

So he stumbled off, making a reverse turn and pulling his nightshirt over his eyes. Sure, it probably looked silly that way, but nobody could see him anyway. And that way his hands were free to feel out in front of him. It didn't take too long for his palms to hit flat rock. It was rough- possibly concrete- and scraped his skin a little, but he didn't worry about that. Instead he inched to the right, feeling along the wall. Nothing. Muttering under his breath, he inched instead to the left, feeling his hands rubbed and stinging. Finally they hit cool metal, and after further feeling around, a round knob.

"I found it!" he called, twisting the knob as hard as he could.

The doors answers. The noise of the handle's mechanism sliding out of it's home is faint, but audible, before the heavy door swings outwards, into a stark grey hallway, lighting squares occupying the full length of the ceiling.

The next door is down the corridor to their left, their right holds a wall painted black, with the remains of a door barred and blacked.

Naeva could not help but hold back the 'glee' in her voice, the slight squeal of success escaping her lips as she saw the young boy opening the door with little ease and the light from this whitened room slowly being diluted by the darkness of the next.

"Oh Danu*! It worked; we can get out of here!!"

The sudden excitement made Naeva shout her words rather than express them quietly; as the emotional rush got the better of her she leapt to her feet, the moment hitting back to her in seconds as she steadied herself against the wall.

"I think I want to get out of this place more than I though, heh, what should we do? Check it out? All of us? Together?"
