I love both creatures, but I'll be for the werewolves. Why?
When I was in elementary school, I was thought cool because my canines were a little longer than my two friend's, and they called me a vampire.
Likewise, when my friend Bella was younger, she was called a werewolf because of her hairy arms. (They're cute)
As we grew older:
Bella is pale and allergic to garlic, and we made her into a vampire role and it suits her.
Me? I tend to be more animalistic (though I was told I could be either) I tend to be more were-like.
Werewolves in stories (I haven't read them all, but in the two I have) are generally not liked, and the main werewolves never get the girl, and that made me love them anymore.
Besides, they can live on something other than a diet. Only downside is having to buy new cloths, anger issues, and nakedness.
Plus having to deal with packs might get annoying, but you'd have to deal with the equivalent as a vampire as well, I'm sure. (Families)

Vampires, because even though some are a lot more...er...gruesome, they still just spark an interest...maybe it's that air of mystery and unpredictableness. And also just because werewolves have a lot of anger issues. sweatdrop

I like both, but for some reason I've always had an interest in vampires. I can't quite put my finger in an exact reason, though.

Vampires are, unearthly, elegant, seductive, and look even more amazing than a human does when they have blood oozing down their lips and chin* (what with the contrast of the red on their white skin *sigh*). I was terrified of vampires as a kid (I thought they were out to get me in my sleep >.<) and then it gradually warped into this obsession.
Werewolves are earlthy, crude, and coarse. Usually they lack the elegance and stealth of an actual wolf. I've never been a fan of werewolves, despite the fact I love wolves and other large canine species.
*Yeah, I have a thing for blood dripping from the mouth. *shrug* I'm a weird kid.

There needs to be better stories about werewolves out there, agreed. Werewolves are stereotyped badly. Vampires can be stereotyped, but at the most it gets annoying. Otherwise, they're old/wise/sexy/gothic. I think that's why I love that Edward's coat is tan instead of black.

Yeah. That was me, too. I say Vampires anyday. Thay are the most intriguing creatures I've ever known in my human existence. In a way, it's almost more about the depths of the person's subconscious mind than an actual physical beauty that draws me to them.

Plus having to deal with packs might get annoying, but you'd have to deal with the equivalent as a vampire as well, I'm sure. (Families) Well I just wanted to see ppl's opinions on the subject. Personally, I like vampires. Hellsing fangirl Elindarhya does have something to say to you, however, about vampires: not all vampires have to deal with "families." While it's true that most vampires do have some sort of "Clan", they don't necessarily live together or even communicate. For example, in Hellsing, the vampires do have a sort of familiy mentality, insofar as it goes partaining to "blood relatives", but they are actually solitary beings. The relatives are generally speaking just a way to trace bloodlines and claim allies, so to speak, in case something is necessary to achieve but too large a task for a single vampire. In fact, they let each other deal with their own problems even when their help might be needed.
So, really, vampires generally leave each other alone. It's already been established that the Cullens are oddballs. And yes, Elin herself typed this up, because she didn't trust tortallanangel to make it sound properly intelligent and get across the right points in the right way.
Btw Elin is my sister ~angel

Btw Elin is my sister ~angelWell, this I know, but for the families/clans that are there. Just like I'm sure there's a few rogue werewolves (though that seems to be dangerous thought) Hellsing, anime? Or are you talking about a book or something? *Wishes to know please!* ^_^ Alice out.
