So I am, among other things, poly. I like being in relationships with more than one other person. I was in one relationship with 2 others for about 3 years. I was in one with 5 others for about 7 months. I really enjoyed myself and I learned a great deal about myself. Any one else interested in Poly?

I was in a poly relationship for abouttwo months. Me and my friend were both really into this one girl, so we comprimised and went poly... but I didn't really like the third person, so it didn't work out all too well... now I'm single... and oh-so alone... crying
Oddly enough, that was my first relationship expierence... we were never offocially a threesome... me and my friend just both kinda clung to our crush, and snuggled and kissed her lots. blaugh

Hmm..Never tried it. I only had a boyfriend once for two days, and that was screwy. I never tried friends with benefits, either. I've heard from some open-minded people that it gives you good experience, though. If I could I'd probably try poly. neutral

Poly is a learned skill. No one has the skills to do successful polly right out the gate. There are books out there on the subject and websites dedicated to it. It is possible to learn how to be in a poly relationship. It requires a bit more work and a lot more honesty, with yourself and others. I really enjoy them, because when it is done right it is just more of everything good.

I can't imagine that a relationship like that would end well unless everyone involved knew what was going on. But I will admit that I have thought about it. There are several people I'm interested in right now, including two of my classmates and my ex-boyfriend. If all of them happened to ask me out, I really don't know who I'd choose because they're all great. But I'm not going to go out of my way to date more than one guy, unless it was just a casual relationship and I knew for certain that they understood that. I do hope that makes sense.
Footnote: I just wanted to say, and I will repeat myself, because it's just that good of an analogy, that trying to reconcile with my ex is a lot like trying to revive a dead with with electricity: it will wriggle around a lot, and it will look like it's alive, but it's really dead.
