Randee walked up through the mountains, over to the place where she had first met her lovely mother-in-law, Frosta. From what Randee has heard, Frosta was pregnant. Randee decided to pay a visit to Frosta and brought her daughter, Kimi along with her. It was about time that Kimi gets to know the rest of her family better. It would be nice too, a day for all the mares of her family from all the generations; or at least, all the mares that Randee has met. Frosta, Randee, Kimi...well, Sgina wouldn't arrive.
Randee sighed and continued to walk up the mountain, with Kimi close behind her.
"Mom, are we almost there?" asked Kimi, feeling exhausted, she had been walking nearly all day. The winter weather has cleared up for the most part, the snow was gone, but it was still pretty cold outside.

"Izzie!!!" Frosta's voice cries out in the still cold air as she chases after her rambunctious daughter. "Come back here! its dangerous down there!!" She fretted as she swiftly jumps in front of her daughter Isabella. "Isabella!! I don't want to see you hurt so please.. come back with me." She looks down at her daughter before her ears pricks up, hearing a female voice.
Izzie is bounding down the side of the mountains laughing gaily because she saw a red cardinal flying out of the bare tree. "Bird!! Bird!!" She exclaims as she runs down the hill in high leaps before she hears her mother's worried voice. She laughs as she leaps over a log but to her disappointment, the flash of dark blue appears in front of her. "Maaaa!!!" She whines before she perks her ears up when she hears a voice. "Yay!!! more friends!!"

Randee stopped and stared at the foal not too far in front of her. Randee looked at Kimi with the corner of the eye, who also stood completely still in shock.
"Kimi," said Randee slowly pausing between her words in shock. "She looks...just like you did."
"I know," said Kimi, talking just a strangely now. "I guess that means that Frosta did give birth afterall."
Kimi smiled at Randee, then started approaching the foal, hearing the sounds of another mare's voice.
"Frosta? Is that you? It's your granddaughter, Kimi," she said, walking closer to the sound of the voice and towards the foal. "Hello little one, you must be my aunt."

Frosta turns her head toward Kimi and Randee then her eyes pratically lit up with happiness. "Randee!! It have been so long, how are you doing sweetheart?" She inquires as she trots over to Randee and nuzzles her before she looks at Kimi. "You have become a stunning mare, Kimi. Come here and give your grandma a kiss" She moves toward Kimi and nuzzles her as well. "Meet my daughter, Isabella." She says in proud voice.
"I don't want to be called Isabella, ma! Please call me Izzie" Izzie smiles as she looks at Randee and Kimi curiously but her silverish eyes stays on Kimi because she looks like a older version of her. "Ant??? whats ant?" She blinks at Kimi in confusion while she cocks her head to side curiously. "Kimi? Me Izzie!"

Kimi leaned in and nuzzled Frosta and then directed her attention to the foal.
"Hello, Isabella, I mean, Izzie," said Kimi with a smile. "That's a very nice name, short and sweet, like my own name. Me and you are a lot a like, we look very similar, if you haven't noticed."
"Yes, they do," said Randee to Frosta. "I have been doing good, how about yourself?"
Randee watched over the foal with the corner of her eye, watching over Kimi as well. It's not that Kimi needed to be watched, but Randee was interested to see how Kimi would interact with children.

Frosta smiles as Kimi nuzzled her as she nuzzles back before she turns her head toward Randee. "I have been doing wonderfully, Izzie here have been keeping me on my hooves almost all of the time but again.. it keeps me in the shape." She says the last statement jokingly while her light blue eyes turns toward the interaction between her daughter and granddaughter. "How is Undesdala and other children doing?" She glances at Randee.
Izzie bobs her head as she looks up at Kimi. "I hope I will look as beautiful as you when I grow up." She truthfully says as she cranes her neck out and nips experimentally at the tail. "Why is your tail two different colors?" She says in confused voice as she crinkles her nose up, looking up at Kimi for the answers.

"They are doing...," started Randee. She wasn't quite sure how to answer, she had hardly seen any of them lately. "...well."Randee gave a warm smile to Frosta.
"Anyways, how has 'Izzie' been?" asked Randee, looking at the sweet foal.
"Oh, I'm sure you will be a beautiful mare, you are beautiful now. As for my tail, I suppose I get it from my father," said Kimi. "Or, shall I say, your older brother. Have you met your brother yet? Unesdala ale Vsti? He is my daddy and I am your niece."

Frosta blinks as Randee didn't exactly answer her question about Undesdala and their other children but she just merely shrugged it off because she probably have some good reason why she doesn't want to answer. Frosta smiles gently as she looks down at her daughter Izzie whom is chatting with her niece. "She is doing wonderfully, she is very curious little filly who like to drag me around so she could explore." She smiles affectionately at Randee then at Izzie.
Isabella beams up at Kimi as she glows in the bask of the compliments from her niece. She haven't quite grasped the concept of aunts/uncles and nieces/nephews as she blinks in confusion. "What is niece? I haven't met my brothers or sister yet. My mama told me that I will meet them someday." She bobs her head quickly and beams at Kimi.

"Kimi was the same way, when she was little at least," said Randee. "Then she got tired of me being around her and always fought for freedom and independence. I was afraid to let her go and as a result, she often just ran off to meet other Soquili. Isabella is so beautifully gorgeous."
"I am one of your older brother's daughters," said Kimi with a smile. "When you meet my father, Unesdala, you may understand more about who I am. That mare over there with your mother is my mother...where is your father?"
Kimi then realized that she had never really seen Frosta's mate, only heard about him from Unesdala ale Vsti. All she knew was he was an ice pheonix named Kinguyakki.

Frosta chuckles slightly as she smiles gently at her daughter Isabella. "I am not going to stick close to Izzie unless we are in unfamiliar area." She says with a light tone knowing that she doesn't want Izzie to fight her and flee from her because she just wanted to be close to her daughter. "Thank you.. I am very glad she is my daughter." She simply says before she turns her head toward Randee with a smile.
"Ooooh!!!" She tilts her head to side as she watches Kimi with a curious gleam in her eyes, she will have to bug her mother to explain more about this "aunt and niece" thing. "... I don't know." She blinks as she realized that she haven't seen her father ever since she emerges from the basket. "I saw him once.. he was very big stallion with HUGE wings. But after that, I didn't see him again." She blinks once again not sure why she didn't see her father that much.. or at least at all.

"Mothers are always so proud of their children, don't ever let that end, always be proud and let them know how proud you are and how much you love them. Not that this is something you don't know, after all, you have raised beautiful children before. And I would know, wouldn't I?" teased Randee about Unesdala, the one true love of her life, along from her children of course.
"Ah, I have not met him at all, so I would not know, but he sounds like my own father, so that would make sense. My father, like yours, is winged as well. As is my sister and my brother, I guess you can say I'm the black sheep of the herd, or rather, the blue sheep! My sister and my brother's coats are all white coated. But I've got something special of my own. My hooves," said Kimi, motioning Izzie's attention down to Kimi's fiery hooves.

Frosta beams widely at Randee and nods. "Indeed!!! I am always proud of my children." She grins widely before she giggles, nudging Randee. "Oh shush!" She grins more at Randee mischeviously. "Us women need to stick together when it comes to males of the family." She says as she chuckles lightly. "Apparently the sons have inherited the 'wandering hoof' disease from their father." She says in wry voice as she looks at Isabella. "I haven't seen any of my first children for very long time." She simply says.
Isabella cocks her head to side and looks at Kimi. "My mama told me that your papa looks just like my papa. 'Exact rep...lica..'"she tries to pronounce 'replica' before she shrugs and blinks owlishly at the mention of 'black sheep' or 'blue sheep'. "but you do not have the wool like the sheep does!" She exclaims as she eyes her niece warily, not knowing that its just figure of speech. She quickly forgets about the sheep inqury when she sees Kimi's fiery hooves and she makes excited 'ooooooooo' sounds. "I got the same!" She twittered excitedly as she tries to stick both of her hooves out but falls face first into the snow. "oouf!!"

"Hrm, that's really a shame, but I can sadly relate from the whole Sgina ordeal. There is some good news though, I suppose. I've been hiding it for a bit. I have reunited with Sgina and she is doing quite well. We have to take time to get our relationship back to what it was. It seems as if life is going to get better for me from here on in," said Randee with a smile. "I hope."
Kimi laughed at her young and sweet niece. She was quite clever, yet so innocent and cheerful. It really brightened up Kimi's day. Kimi gently nuzzled Isabella softly.
"Becareful now," said Kimi with a smile.

Frosta smiles lightly as she looks at Randee. "I hope things will get better for you! You do not deserve any pain or sorrow in your life." She says before she cocks her head to side. "Well I know for sure that Isabella won't leave me for days. But again, she is just a foal and she will say that because she loves her mama." She laughs once again.
Isabella sits in the snow as she rubs her face against the ground trying to get the snow off but ended up with clumps of snow sticking to her face and mane. She crosses her eyes as she tries to see a clump of snow that is stuck to tip of her nose. "Snow can be very sticky..." She says before she sneezed violently when the snow got stuck in her nostrils. She coughs and giggles. "I am fine." She automatically says.
