 Hello everyone, and welcome to my little thread for fans of the VinLuc pairing. This one is in the top three of my favorite Final Fantasy VII pairings, and I thought it would be nice to discuss it with other fans of this coupling. 3nodding (Aside from that, I seem to be a sucker for tragic romance. xD) Some guidelines I would like to be followed: No debating. None. Sure, you can come in and say you prefer a different pairing, but do NOT start debates. They always lead to people being childish and spreads just another ounce of hatred into the Final Fantasy VII fandom. No bashing and/or flaming. Need I elaborate? It's imbecilic. How can you be horrible to someone you don't even know? It is an extremely crude way of expressing distaste. Please stay on topic~! And if you have any, I would greatly appreciate it if you would post VinLuc fan art. :3 Here are two links I would like to share, just because: Nevermore - the Vincent Valentine x Lucrecia Crescent FanlistingDevotion - A VinLuc fanfic by Sarah the Boring It's my favorite VinLuc fanfiction. :3 I also have some VinLuc videos on my YouTube, although I don't think I'm very good. @_@;; If you wish to see them, though....

I'm glad you think my videos portray the couples well. @_@ My friends say they're good, too, but I still have my reservations...

Yuck grows... Why did someone have to go and make a thread to this paring. I mean seriously, Vincent has moved on already. Weather with Shelke or Yuffie is still unclear to me. Anyway I totally hate Lucrecia Crescent. I hate he almost as much as I hate Aeris. She was a fricken idiot for all that crap she put Vincent through and having a child with Hojo. I'm glad she's a human diamond. Lucrecia is a perfect example of karma. You reap what you sew in this life. If you chose to be an dumb a** like Lucrecia you'll end up getting trapped in crystal forever. Anyway this is all I have to say. This is not the start of a debate this is only my opinion.

Hmmm. I respect your opinion, but there's no need to go and start randomly bashing the pairing threads. If you do not like a pairing, there is no need to enter a thread about them. sweatdrop
Anyway....As to what you were saying, I used to feel the same way. I was a hardcore Yuffentine fan; and absolutely hated Lucrecia....
That is, until I found out more about her. Now, I feel that that utter devotion Vincent had for Lucrecia could not have been for no reason. And I cannot see Vincent running off with Yuffie or Shelke in the future...He's probably going to stay single. :3
Reading the fanfic "Devotion" also broadened my horizons of thinking about Lucrecia. Instead of just instantly hating a character because of what they did, I thought about what it would have been like if I had been in their shoes.
A little thing called empathy.
Vincent does not seem the type to be able to live comfortably with a personality like Yuffie's. Shelke, on the other hand, seems much too young; and would seem to be more of a father-daughter relationship.
Think what you will, but I stand by this pairing.

And here's a little image dump, because I feel like it. <33    There are quite a lot on Deviant Art, too. sweatdrop Lucrecia looks a lot like Aerith. xD And the VinLuc pairing is very much like the Clerith pairing....xD Quite a lot of parallels there.

I can understand why you like it, but I've never been fond of tragic romance. I'm all for the 'comedy' romance.
XD;
I like the idea of Vincent moving on, seeing he does say he will after leaving Lucrecia's cave and she sheds and emo tear for him.
Anyways...
I got some pictures! : D    Incidentally, the only reason I don't really like Vincent and Lucrecia together, is because I'm under the impression that Lucrecia actually DID love Hojo and that Hojo DID love her. Except he went crazy with Jenova's research and YEAH... We all know where THAT lead off to.
XD;
