It had been days since Fre had any time to herself. Mouse had dumped Birthday, who was now avidly reading a new medieval book about human knights, and the two new twins on the starry pae while she went out and traveled around. This was a time she called the 'holiday season' and since Fre was an adult now she was responsible for the children.

After several days being cooped up in the house, Fre had about enough. She wrapped up the two twins and set out to go to Raken's for a visit, thinking it was past time to go see him again. So with two bundles of joy wrapped in her arms she marched herself, unannounced, into Raken's very humble abode.

"Raken," she called, "I'm here. Ausar and Re are with me. I came to see you."

She stay firmly planted, one napping child in each hand. Then the unexpected happened; she felt his arm around her waist and was completely caught off guard by the sudden kiss. It had always been her to initiate any sort of contact, not that she didn't enjoy they change, but it was very sudden. Gently she pulled away with a grin. "I'm glad to see you too. I can see I was missed."

Fre smiled to herself, knowing how much he had really missed her. It had been the same on her end of course; everyday was a burden and lonely without him around. Grinning she leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. "I missed you as well."
Ausar had been pleasantly asleep when he heard two voices and the excited shouts of the day pae. He was in a place he hadn't yet been to, which made him uncomfortable, but he watched on silently.
Re woke up second to the screams of a happy Dayht. He squirmed in his uncomfortably tight blanket and was about to scream when he noticed his brother was also awake. Giggling he tried to reach out his hands to embrace his younger sibling but to no avail. So instead he fell limp in Fre's arms, an unhappy baby look on his face.
When Dayht came in Fre stooped down to greet her favorite of the two night and day twins. "Hullo, Dayht."

Fre beamed at the small child, "This is Ausar," she said as she lifted up the green pae. "And this one is Re." The two toddlers looked down at the bright pae with curious eyes and Re made to reach for the girl. Seeing how squirmy the two were Fre gently put them on the ground and let them crawl around. She turned back to Raken and gave him another kiss on the cheek. "I hope you don't mind that I stop by. Mouse is gone and I was going out of my mind.
Re immediately took off towards the lightly colored pae. She was curious and he wanted to know more about her. He bounced a little on his butt and made a grabbing motion towards her. "Up!" he demanded with as much force as he could muster.
Ausar on the other hand was so adventurous. He stuck close to Fre, preferring to hide behind her legs. At the moment he still didn't speak and instead wrapped his arms around her as a protective measure.

Fre nodded, "You got off easy then. These two have been quite the handful and Birthday hasn't really been much better. Plus I've been getting these weird headaches..."
Ausar gazed up at his big sister and tugged on her leg. He didn't like being on the cold floor all by himself. When Fre turned her head to look at him, he reached his arms out to her and made a grabbing motion. She scooped down and picked him up, holding him tightly to her.
"I've been trying to teach them to speak and Re seems to have taken to it but," she gazed down at the green pae in her hands. "This little one on the other hand doesn't seem to want to talk."
Re bounced further at the daylight pae. He wasn't sure what she was saying since her words were not as clear as Fre's or as Birthday's, but he made a grabbing motion at her again. "Play!" he exclaimed. "Re-re want play!"

"Maybe not easy," she said as she watched Raken, "but at least it's not too bad. Re and Ausar only seem to get along when playing. Even then though Re can always find ways to make his brother upset." It was a troubling thing but that was just the way it seemed to be.
Ausar heard his name and looked up at Fre. He wanted to tell her that Re hurt her but he was having trouble with the words. They were very foreign on his tongue and he stumbled over them a lot. Instead he made a few sounds at her and instead of listening she put him back down on the cold floor.
"Play!" Re demanded again, still not understanding the daylight pae. He bounced again and again, waved his arms, and said at the top of his tiny voice, "Re-re want play now!"

((sorry this took so long. I've been busy with school and I just got my wisdom teeth out so I've been kinda out of it.))

"I don't know much about kids, it would seem," Fre said as she watched the children. "They're not what I imagined at all. How come you're always the one stuck watching the kids? Aren't some of your other siblings old enough to start helping out at least?" It was troubling to Fre that Raken never seemed to have any free time for himself. They needed a chance to go on a date again, to be adult pae, without children and she vocalized this concern. "We should really find a way to go out again, just us two."
Re bounced again, unhappy with all the noise going on around him. It was very frustrating when no one understood you. He saw Fre place Ausar on the ground and crawled right over to him, wrapping his arms around him in a protective way. "Au play too! Au like play!"
As soon as Re had swooped down upon him Ausar began to look upset. They had played this game before when Fre wasn't looking. Now Re would pinch him and poke him, or making him play the person who always died. It was because Ausar was unable to speak that Re took advantage of him.

((Again, I'm really sorry. It's school again, directing a show, and doing a lot of college stuff. I don't get on often during the week unless it's to check my PMs. I'm gonna start trying to get on more during the weekend however.))

"Then I guess Tara and Mouse will just have to take care of them for once," Fre commented. "It's kind of annoying that they wont, right?" The subject of his elderhood was still a sore subject. She wanted children of her own before he got his elder status. All she really hoped was that she was still able to see him.
Ausar was getting more and more uncomfortable as Re pinched his arm lightly. He squirmed on the floor before Re bit him on the arm and made him cry. Fre turned her head to pay attention to him but had missed what his elder brother had done. She scooped down, picked him up, and cradled him to get him to calm down. He opened his mouth to make words but they wouldn't form.
It wasn't that he was being mean, he just liked it when his brother cried. He giggled to himself as he crawled after the other pae who disappeared.
