Aurora sat amoungst the fairy mushroom rings and damp leaves, the sound of birds playing their beautiful songs of daybreak formed some mental stillness in the young lad. For the moment he could be one with his suroundings, a peacefulness on his expression. His lute lay across his lap, he was staring at the canopy overhead.

He was still for a long time, semi concious of the lady bug that had decided to crawl across his hands and continue up onto his arm, barely aware of the wind that swept through his hair tickeling his face the golden locks dancing as if the wind was a lost lover.

A new instrument lay with his lute, a small picolo, brown in color had join in Aurora's passion for music. He wasn't very good at it, but he had learned a few simple tunes. But...besides that Aurora looked like..a wax sculpture, something that appeared to be alive but seemed dead inside....

He sat for a long while and then finally, silently he left.

The next day he came back to this little grove, perhaps he was looking for a change? Any signs of life? Well there was life all around him, and since his first visit, there was a noticeble cahnge in his demeanor.

"Medeine, I taught myself how to play the piccolo..." he started as he went to sit down amounst the plants flowers and mushrooms. He leaned back a smile lit on his face. "It is a nice sounding instrument, I hope you hear me play it someday. I have also starting learning how to create my own lyrics and chords on the lute." He continued the insturment ever living on his back.

Now why would a young lad be sitting here talking to himself? Perhaps he had gone crazy at last? Aurora knew Medeine was out here somewhere. and numerous reasons to why she hadn't come back filled his mind. What if she got stuck in a shapshifted form? And now can't remember who she is? Or if she just doesn't want to see anyone?

He wasn't very happy with those conclusions but he decided if she was nearby, she could listen to him talk. Maybe even she would come out and speak with him eventually.

"The other day I was reminising about our adventures together, do you remember how we thought the freezer in the supermarket was a monster? and how you saved me from that bullying boy? I remember crying but you were there to help put a smile back on my face."

It was one of his favorite memories...the supermarket Medeine had needed to get icecream and she didn't know how to open the freezer door. Since Aurora had never seen a freezer either they both had thought it was some terrible monster.

Aurora would then sit in the forest quietly, listening to the sounds, ever hopeful. After perhaps half and hour or so he would then get up bid his farewell and would promise to be back the next day. He wasn't about to give up on her.... he couldn't.

Aurora came into the scene this time carrying a little basket in his hands, his blonde hair looked a bit messed as if he had just hurried from somewhere. Truthfully he had gone to the supermarket to find some fresh strawberries. It wasn't the season for strawberries yet otherwise he would of gone out to pick them instead.

Wiping the sweat from his forhead he then placed said strawberries on the ground clustered around a few small daisy's. Gently he sat down on the ground and took a deep breath of the fresh air. He could hear the birds singing.

"I remember you said you liked strawberries. . ." He started thinking back to the emotional day when he was reuinited with Medeine after her dissapearance. It seemed to be a reaccuring thing. Her leaving without a word. He wondered why he was so stuck on her, every time he thought he had things figured out somethign happened to change or obscure his reasoning. The silence lingered as if he wasn't sure where to continue.

"I made you a strawberry parfiat if i recal, cause I wanted to impress you. You said you loved it, and promised that you wouldn't dissa...pear...again." he stopped a shuddering breath rending him unable to speak. "And i promised I would never leave you alone . . ." he finally managed to get out, he leaned forward leaning his head laying on his drawn up knees. He felt vunerable. Just like when he was a kid, though he was older nothing had really changed, he was just as pathetic as he was back then.

He felt so ...stupid. Here he was talking to air, as if just speaking would bring her back. He drew another shuddering breath tears leaked out aainst his own will and dripped down the sides of his face. He used his sleeve to wipe them away and then forced a smile on his face again.

"Sorry, guess i got a bit overwhelmed. Truth is....i don't just miss you..." He started and then hesitated, what had he got to lose? No one was listening to him anyway, besides the the animals.

"I need you..." he whispered the last part as if this was the most embaressing thing he had to admit, but that wasn't even the half of it. Admitting out loud he loved Medeine was like driving something home to his brain. The silence continued to stretch on as the words seem to hang in the air. Trembling still he stood and then forced a smile on his lips.

"I will talk to you tomorrow Medeine. Enjoy the strawberries." He said as he turned and moved out.

(ARG LAST POST DIDN"T SHOW *tries to recal what i wrote*)

Aurora had been getting a bit restless, he couldn't stand just hoping for the best, hoping she was ok. This was getting frusterating. His seeminingly endless paitence was coming to a end. He stood looking down at the basket of strawberries, now empty; probably thanks to some hungry woodland creatures and he could only sigh. He wished he could talk to animals, they would probably have some clue.

He squatted down, fingering the empty basket before finally picking it up. He didn't want to leave garbage here. Tucking it into his backpack, his lute attatched awkwardly on top he looked around. The tree's were obscuring the sunlight but the light did filter through.

Into the woods he'd go. Perhaps if he sung he could bring her out of hiding. He unslung his backpack and sat it on the ground, he then removed the lute from the strings keeping it in place and then stood and replaced the pack back onto his back.

Walking he would go in any direction. Let the wind lead him. This would be awkward...playing his lute while walking around int he forest and singing. But he would do it.

He strummed his lute, adjusting the tones and then took a breath and started walking...

"Honey where have you gone?
It is kinda hard to breath,
Is everything ok?
I have to whisper,
I don't want to scare you away,

It started with a strawberry
That touched the lips of an angel
Who had a smile
which always made me shy
hearing you speak, made me weak
I would rather die, than never see you
I never want to say goodbye . . ."
