Another day another odd task. That was how work went, though shots normally were fairly easy to comprehend. It was just... a jellyfish? Alas, it mattered not. All the same there was obviously a need and he'd comply as was the usual. Just one unusual note was the dozing toddler off to one side.

Revon was away at classes and he couldn't just leave the boy home alone. So the teal haired infant had been brought and thankfully had decided a nap was in order. Certainly a blessing.

It only took a minute or two to prepare the tray of shots for the girl was would be arriving shortly. With that done he started toward the door to avoid letting the coming parent and child from knocking too much. Waking up the baby was always said to be bad.

About to knock upon coming into view, Kanth stopped as the door was soon open, letting a smile grace her face as she addressed the man. "Greetings," Was her reply, and a glance was given to the jellyfish girl at her side.

Medusa curtsied as best she could, before smiling. "Hiiiyeeee." She drew out, waving her fingers rather cutely at the man. "Mahm told me not tew be skard of shots." She murmured quietly, though it was apparant that she was uneasy; her lisp had come back full turn, and only those who knew her well would realize this.

He nodded slightly at the greeting, not bothering to return the smile. "Right on time." A momentary glance at today's patient and a quick internal thank you was issued to the woman. It was always best when the children didn't freak out at the idea of getting a shot.

"There isn't any reason to be afraid of them." He said in a slightly hushed tone before heading back toward where the supplies were kept and the shots were lined up. "Please take a seat on the table." A jellyfish, well at leas tthe gloves would hopefully deal with most of the effects... the problem was wondering just how well one could give a jellyfish shots. Well, he'd soon find out.

Medusa nodded, as this seemed the best logic, and walked over to sit on the table, staring curiously at what the other was doing.

Kanth herself took a seat and watched the whole procedure, not at all phased. After all, it was required.

so much easier than the ones who wasted his time asking question after question. You had to be thankful for the people who knew to just sit down and listen. They were simply easier to deal with.

It only took a moment to retrieve the previously arranged tray and set it next to Medusa wordlessly. Time to work and get it over with, he had other things to do afterall. So within a few moment in went the first shot. Her skin was solid enough, it wasn't too much different than giving the other children their shots. Just that she wasn't AS solid. Though it wasn't too much more of a hassle, seeing as she had only the bare minimum in vaccinations. Afterall, jellyfish didn't really have things they needed to be protected against. Only her human genes needed the extra precaution.

Fascinated, Medusa watched with wide, grey eyes as she stared at the man placing the needle in her, injecting her with something foreign. She knew better than to ask questions; her mama made sure that she wouldn't, and she respected that.

After all, Kanth was scary when she was mad. Even more scary than Altessa.

It was likely a good thing that it took a lot to bother Haru. The fact he was being watched as he worked at carefully slipping in the needles wasn't something to unnerve him. Perhaps some people might have been bothered, but the man simply didn't care so long as she didn't go twitching or trying to run off. Then there would be a problem.

Seeing as that didn't seem an issue each shot went rather fast. One went down the next went in. It only took a few minutes to finish off with the vaccinations. So without having said a word the entire time the last needle was set aside and the notion of a bandaid was quickly dismissed. How would one stay on the girl anyway? "See, nothing to worry about." It was too bad all kids didn't take their shots that well.

"Wat weer they fore?" Medusa found herself asking, glancing up to him with a bright grin.

"Medusa..." Kanth warned from the corner, crossing her arms in a warning gesture. Medusa closed her mouth, instead moving to slide off the table to walk to her mama, hands clasped together.

"Pleeease?"

"Only if he isn't irritated to answer your questions. You've been causing a lot of trouble, after all." Kanth gave the child a stern glare, and Medusa gave a bright grin back, turning back to stare at the man, hopeful he'd answer her question.

Hmm? Questions. He glanced over his shoulder at the girl, pausing in his cleanup. Well, she did seem to want to know, seeing as she was willing to defy her mother over it. Sincerely wanting to learn something was always to be praised.

"They're to protect you against various illness that would hinder your ability to live and act to the best of your abilities. In short, they're to keep you healthy." Simply enough, and something that she could understand hopefully.

Onto the mother. "You shouldn't discourage curiosity for knowledge. As long as the request is reasonable there isn't a need to give the idea that wanting to know more is a bad thing." For it wasn't, knowledge was rather useful int he scheme of things. It's what drove society to better itself in many ways.

Now then, back to cleaning up.
