Mitima'Tangatanga needed to find a place protected during their slumbers of the day, and with meals for when they hunted at night. Hearing rumors of a forest where 'spirits' lived, the pack leaders realized this might be the best place to start a pack, for if the rumors were false, lions still would avoid the land where the pups would be raised. And so, they moved towards these lands and created their home.
Their main area of residence is in the forests between the Southlands and the Kusini'Mwezi Pridelands. Known to many as the Kilango'Ta, the Wild Dogs have taken sanctuary in these woods. Called the Poria'Mizimu (Forest Dwelling of Spirits), the howls of the night have be acknowlaged as the callings of spirits. Yet, it is not the whole reason, for while the Mitima'Tangatanga are nightdwelers, they also are led through their woods by hundreds of glowing fireflies, that light up the night like the spirits the forest are named after.
Though they also need a hunting grounds, and thus have moved to claim a small strip of lands in the Southlands, lining the edges of their forest just enough so they can find the game they need for survival, as well as a small watering hole that is at the edge of a hill. The whole area is on the lower part of hills, as if the hills themselves are markers of the line, and it is called the Mabehewa'Riaria (Empty Space for the Hunt).
Lastly, the watering hole is large enough for bathing as well as refreshing up, and is considered a place of life. It is located strangly in a clearing within the woods, and usually shines from the moonlight as well as the reflecting fireflies. The pups are all born near by, so they may be ensured a long life from the water's gifts of hydration. Called Manzili'Fura (Water of Life), it is not quite spiritual as it is a neccesity. The weather seems to be in a lull, the winds not making it into the woods as the trees hold at a standstill. The shadows are enough to keep the air cool, yet as the Mitima'Tangatanga make their way to the hunting grounds, they hit the heat of the north's coming dry season, mixed the the humidity of the southern wet season. It is perfect weather at night, for the sunset brings in cooling winds so that the heat is bareable. This tale is nothing of glamour or of any sort of pride. It is simply a tale of three siblings looking to create a life for their friends to live within, a place to protect them as well as the ones they care for. Two elder brothers and a younger sister, they sought no redemption, no godly guidance; all they sought for was a land of serenity, for their pups to grow, and for their pack to flourish. This, this small tale, is what explains how they did just that.
The wild dog family started out as any other, with a male and female that mated and had three gorgeous pups. Each pup held a pelt like none other, with the many shades of blue dancing through their fur. And thus, each was named accordingly, in honor of the pelts they shared. The eldest and first born held a white pelt like his mother, yet the blues of his father shone with each spot that came apparent. With the stormy colors, he was named Kaskazi, after the North Monsoon. The second eldest, another boy, also held the same colorings as his brother, though his blue markings also had lighter blue underneath. And so, their parents named him Misimu, after the Northeast Monsoon. The youngest was the only female in the litter, and held no dark blue spots like her brothers. She only held the light blue markings, and in turn was named Demani, after the South Monsoon.
As the three siblings grew, they were forced to travel away from those they loved, the neighbors and friends they made as pups. Lions and Hyenas were growing in numbers, and always ended up hunting for the Wild Dogs of the southlands. It was when the three became adolescents that the chase had ended, and the siblings were left to fend for their own. Kaskazi, angered by the fact that their parents had been murdered so brutally by a pack of wandering hyenas, decided that it would be best for the three to find a safe home away from the open lands. They needed a place to be safe from all of the dangers, and the only place that would suffice was a forest south, where darkness defended all creatures within.
During their hunt for the protection of the forests, they encountered many other Wild Dogs. Most of these dogs helped to bring more members to the pack, while others even caught the hearts of the siblings. The two brothers fell in love with two sisters, while Demani found her own strong male to love. As they finally made their journey to the south, they discovered a secret spring in the middle of forests, and thus built their home around this spring. Having hunting grounds, safe sleeping dens, as well as just space to live and play, all of the wanderers finally created their home, their pack. Dutifully called the Mitima'Tangatanga, it represented their wanderings to their heaven, their safe world.
However, their safe stay only worked out for a short period of time. For as their pups just started their journey through life, there was a dark shadow over them all. The scouts returned one day speaking of a plague, where many lions have fallen around the hunting grounds. At once, the three siblings demanded that all hunters stick in the forest, but already the scout had fallen to the sickness. One by one, the pack members fell to the plague, and soon Kaskazi had as well. Fighting as long as he could, he sought his pups as well as the others, and sent them to the borders. With a shaky smile and a word that it would be alright, he sent them away to live, and told them that when the time was right, they would return and take their duty as the leaders once more. While the pups left with the knowledge of the adolescence all they had, Kaskazi watched with sad eyes before he turned back, prepared to spend his last moments with the adults and prey that their pups would live to see another day. It was only the few pups who made it out, all the adults falling to the sickness, yet when the pups made it far enough, they scattered during the night and many have not been heard of since. Currently, the tides have changed and the young pups have grown into their adulthood. Miremba, one of Kaskazi?s pups, decided to return to the lands as her father had requested her to do. Having a dark past herself, it took awhile for her to gain the nerve, but soon she ran into two creatures that were willing to join the pride. Binifu and Ouro were wanderers as well, but followed Miremba to the south with the dream of joining a family once more. Yet, Miremba had no regrets with the two adolescents who joined her travels, for they helped give her hope of the pack growing to its prime once more.
Elsewhere, Jeuri made his travels back home, searching for wild dogs as well. Though Miremba and Jeuri had no clue that each other were alive, they both hoped for the best while their paws led south. The lands were in their minds, and the scents of the trees always were haunting them. With each step closer, they found more support and more allies, and got closer to their destiny their parents had given them. Time can only tell just what other dogs decided to follow their scent to the land where the stars dance both in the sky and on the ground.

Kadhi'Mikebe Pack Leader
The Alpha of the pack, this Wild Dog takes on as being the one who must keep up with everything that goes on within the Pack. They are the one to see each member and decide just what ranking that Wild Dog shall take on. Creating the rules for the pack, they must also work to keep everything safe within, as well as make sure there is no danger around the lands. Though they do not fully scout the lands, it is their decision if the designated Wild Dogs must search around. They also must give concent to courtship of other Wild Dogs, as well as they have the full ability to banish any that deserves it. Keeping track of hunting territories, they also summon group hunts with the concent of the Kadhi'Ubakuaji and the head Mawindo. One noticable trait is the fact that the Alpha must be the support of the pride; the main foundation that keeps the group going.
During Pack meetings, the issues are discussed as a whole, yet the Alpha is the one who makes the final decision, usually bassed on the majority of the pack and their views upon it. The Alpha may be male or female, and usually asks their mate for support on decisions despite they are the only one with this title.Kadhi'Ubakuaji Pack Dominant
The Dominant is basically the Beta of the pack, the second in line in rulings as well as anything else basically. Though they do not have as much power as they Alpha, they do step in from time to time and show a loyalty to the pack. The enforcer of the Alpha's rulings, they follow no one except for the Alpha, yet show a strong respect to all of the pride. A leader in their own, they are not tainted with the power, they simply do what their duty states of them. They help to keep protecting in the sacred lands of the forest as well as the watering hole, and have the ability to send Wild Dogs out of the area if they are starting fights, but only the Alpha can kick them out of the pack. With their say second to the Alpha, they have a lot of respect from the pack, which is well earned from their commitment to the pack as a whole.
During Pack meetings, they help to decide, yet are not the final factor. They also have the ability to call forth a pack wide hunt, with the concent of the Alpha as well as the head Mawindo. The Beta first is chosen, and than the mate also gets the privlages of the Beta, giving the pack two Betas who make their decisions as one.Ubakuaji'Warithi Dominant Heir
The so-called Delta of the pack, they are third in rank yet do not possess quite the amount of powers the Alpha and Beta do. They have no pack summoning privlages, for they cant even plan large or even medium sized hunts, however they are training to become the next Betas; Be it through the death of the current mates or just because the Betas have moved onto to Alphas through eldership. Like both the Alpha and the Beta, the Delta consist of one main leader and their mate.--- Mhenga Elder
The elder is a Wild Dog that holds great knowlage, and usually is old with age and has held positions of either Alpha or Beta, or maybe both. Because of their knowlage, they are great role models, and usually are seen telling tales of their youth to the future of the pack. They also are known to be advisors if they had the expirence of past leadership, and are seen helping Alpha's out if they are unsure of a decision. They are known to look from afar and only voice their concerns when the time calls for it. These Wild Dogs have the respect of all of the pride, Alphas included.Amuru'Doria Head PatrolKadhi'Doria Pack Patrol
The main job of this Wild Dog is to protect the pack by patrolling the boundries. They are usually the first to know of new comers, as well as any threats that are posing against the pack. If a visitor wishes to come to the pack, they must first gain permission from the Patrol themselves. Basically, the Kadhi'Doria is the one who decides who can come through, and who shall never see the packlands for what they are. There is no way around it.
They also make sure nothing bad happens in the lands, though not to an extent. If they see any fights, they are to report to the higher authorities as well as make sure that Wild Dog is either sent off for a period of time, or taken to a hearing in front of the Alpha him/herself.Amili'Mawindo Head HunterMawindo Hunter
Hunters are thoes known to have exceptional skill, ranging from all abilities with two leaders who are the head of all hunters. The head hunters are ones who lead the hunt, and help decide when to have one with the Alpha and Beta. It is their duty to make sure their is an abundence of food, and usually they are seen scouting the hunting grounds for future ideals on the meats. When there is a shortage, they must go out into the wild outside of the pack lands to find meals, for it is their job to keep the Pack alive.Mkuu'Maskauti Head ScoutMaskauti Scout
The Scouts can also be considered Peacekeepers, for it is their job to know of all happenings outside of the pack borders. They must travel to each new pack and make treaties, as well as find new ones that can form. They are the representives, and are usually the Wild Dogs who appear to pose little threat to others around. Some of the things they must find out is who the Alphas are, where the new packs and prides are formed (since lions pose a large threat), where the borders of prides are, as well as if any Wild Dogs were banished. They keep the safty from other packs, and help prevent any wars and such from occuring.Kogo'Walisha Head CaretakerWalisha Caretaker
Wakuu'kienyeji Head HealerKienyeji HealerThe healer could also be seen as the doctor, for they are the ones to help make sure the rest of the pack is healthy. Some of their jobs include caring for sick Wild Dogs, elderly ones who may be suffering, helping the birthing of new pups, as well as helping to heal any injured Wild Dogs by making sure they stay off their paws. It is their duty to inform the Alpha if a Wild Dog is not capiable to complete their regular duties. One thing they know is what injuries are alright, and what ones could be fatal. They usually just tell their paitents to rest, and help them get water as well as food. The Walisha is the first collect the food from the hunt, not for themselve, but for thoes who need it and are unable to come. Ranki'Duni Low Rank
The Omega is right after the youth (Juvinile) or a Wild Dog who has just joined the pack and has no training nor knowlage. They merely are there to be watched, as well as taught. While the youth Omega are trained, thoes who are new to the Pack or have been lowered in status are put on watch duty of the pups until they can prove their worth to the pack, presenting their case to the Alphas and Betas themselves.Udogo Youth
The youth of course are the pups, thoes who are in the youngest stages of a Pup. They usually are able to be free, and only learn from their elders the history of the Pack, not being taught of the fighting nor hunting until they reach their Juvinile stage, where they train until they are Adolescents and are placed in a specific job area. The carefree stage of all pups, they get away with many things, and usually aren't scolded unless they leave the lands or get into any other danger.
Note: If a pup accompanies the elder dogs on a hunt, they get first pick as all other dogs step back and alow that. It is a given that the pups deserve the meals first.

I look into throwing a description at you later on. But for now, I can't see Cascata wandering off very far at all. She's very much attached to her family, and considering the fact that her best friend is joining the pack as well, there isn't much reason for her to stray.
