Kilango was most decidedly disappeared from anywhere his parents could seem to think of, and Wahabu was adjusting to the idea and finding himself quite fond of it. Without Kilango around, he was starting to feel quite safe again. After several more pleasant encounters with others, he was also starting to feel a bit more trusting. However, on this day, the young lion was feeling less enthusiastic about wandering around and looking for playmates. Instead he chose to lay upon a rock out in the sun, and after quite some time of that he started to doze off peacefully.

((I'm so sorry it took so long Ecavi, redface I totally fell asleep last night and didn't wake up till 6 this morning.))
The Pridelands weren't so bad, now that they were allowed to fly again and drop those doofy disguises. The young godling swooped through the sky with wild laughter, only pausing now and then to terrorize a few birds. It was when she spotted the yellow blotch atop the gray and browns below that she grew curious, and circled around to begin a spiraling descent.
She landed on the ground a yard from where Wahabu dozed, frowning a bit. How could anyone possibly be sleeping on a day like this? The sun was out and even if you couldn't fly there was a ton of other stuff to get into.
The mud colored female decided to ask for herself. Tucking her wings in to her sides, Chamchela (also known as Elly) marched rather boldly up to the yellow and blue striped cub, then lifted her upper half to place both forepaws against the rock.
"Hey! How can you be sleeping on a day like this?"

(( XD No worries, sleep is good. ))
Wahabu was completely unaware of the activity in the skies, even when something landed nearby and came right up to his own little perch. It seemed that perhaps he was not so wise about where he chose to sleep, for he'd left himself quite vulnerable. Not quite sleeping deep enough to dream, he was startled out of his sleep by the sound of a small girl's voice. The first thing he did when his eyes blinked open was curl back defensively with a small squeak- it seems though he was trying to tell himself to be more brave, being woken had him on his guard.
What Wahabu saw when he opened his eyes sent him mixed signals. It was a cub, and a girl- but she also had wings! Having met two gods and having dreamt about them before, he had no trouble recognizing what she must be.
"W-what?" he asked warily, finding he didn't remember what she'd asked.

A boy... Elly had only encountered two of these in her young life. Her brother, Mavudevunde, who was rather dull in her eyes, and Ororo'Lisani, whom mother insisted on being called "dad" even though he clearly bore no resemblance to any of them, except for maybe Anga. In any case, this boy seemed kind of wussy. She was too young to know better than to avoid making snap judgements like that.
Chamchela snorted and pushed off the rock to land on all fours again, circling it and watching Wahabu while taking in a few curious sniffs.
"Sleeping is so boring. Don't you know there's a ton of other things you could be doing instead? Did you stay up all night or something?"

Wahabu uncurled himself and stood up, still in a somewhat defensive position. He was listening attentively to what she said now, though in the back of his mind he was having an arguement with himself about what to think.
"I haven't found anything interesting to do lately, I just fell asleep," he answered her, tilting his head a bit. Only his head moved to watch the small goddess circle him and the rock, "Who're you?"

Perhaps for the first time, Chamchela felt genuine optimism. Someone besides her family or mother's friends was actually curious as to who she was? This got the baby to stop and even drew a smile out of her, though it still looked just a tad mischevious, it was hard for her not to, so confident as she was. She decided that she liked this boy.
"My name's Chamchela, -I'm- the Goddess of Tornados!"
That's your cue to be impressed, by the way!
"But you can call me Elly... I don't really like my full name. What's yours?"

Wahabu kept a curious eye on the little goddess, wobbling a bit at the sight of a michevious grin. It seemed to him that a grin was usually a bad sign, mostly from girls though! Luckily, she introduced herself and that was enough distraction to draw the grin from his mind. She was a goddess, he couldn't be anything but interested.
"Tornados?" he repeated, actually sounding somewhat impressed and curious, "Wow, that's not anything like the gods I've met! That's neat, Elly."
His gaze wandered to her neck and the necklace there, and then back up to her eyes. "My name's Wahabu," he introduced himself, having no fancier way of doing so like Elly. He wasn't anything but a lion, afterall!

She seemed to be allowing herself to bask in a little bit of his praise before returning to their original point of conversation, smiling now instead of grinning.
"Wahabu? That's a funny name." She giggled, though not actually meaning to insult for once. It did sound funny coming off her tongue, and she had, after all, just openly expressed an actual distaste for her own name. "Do you live here, Wahabu?"

"Well, Chamchela is kind of funny," he responded, his first ever time commenting such potentially insulting things back at a girl, "But you go by Elly. Would it help if I went by something different too?"
His nose wrinkled as he thought about the idea. He'd been called Stupid a couple times before, and Habu once. The idea didn't seem like such a good one when he thought of that, though Habu wasn't so bad.
"Yes, I live here," he nodded, looking around from his rock-perch, "Our den's not real far from here. Where do you live?" Wahabu looked back to Elly curiously, he'd never really known about where gods lived- K'A always just wandered away and it didn't come up when he was talking to Athrun.

"How about Habu?" She suggested, by coincidence. It was the only way she could think to shorten his name that didn't sound as humerous and silly as the whole thing. Not that silly was a bad thing, but, she didn't want to be bursting into laughing fits everytime she addressed the poor guy...
"With my momma's pride, the Unity Walkers. She looks after them, so me and my brother and sister have to stay there with her." Elly made a face at this, it was obvious she thought that to be a bit annoying. Mavudevunde could live there fine since he had a clear view of the clouds... and Anga had no problem since loyalty could be found anywhere, ESPECIALLY there, but Elly wasn't allowed to play with her "friends" there like he could. It was bothersome. "I like it better here. Hey, you wanna go to the gorge?? I can show you some really cool tricks!" She grinned, brow furrowing a bit to give the expression a bit of impish spice.

Wahabu started when she suggested a name he'd been called before, and had to smile. If more than one person agreed, then it must be an OK name to go by- especially if a goddess recommended it. "Ok, then. Habu is good," he smiled. As she described her living situation, he stared at her keenly. He'd never heard a good deal about other prides before, never having heard of these Unity Walkers before. He wrinkled his nose at the face she made while describing it, guessing what her next comment would be.
"I like it here, too, but I've never really left," he agreed with her, and then when invited to go to the gorge he stood up to jump off the rock, "Ok!" As he jumped down he caught sight of the playful grin and couldn't help but stumble a bit. Balance was quickly regained and Wahabu looked to Elly to lead the way.

Elly waited for Wahabu to get on level ground with her and regain his balance before starting off in the direction of the huge rocky split in the Earth. He was a little bigger than her, but Elly was hardly aware, hadn't even taken notice aside from the fact that it was so.
"My home's really crowded. I don't get to play like I want to because momma says someone could get hurt, but here it's okay. You might like it though, it's green like here, -really- green." Elly laughed, what sounded dark, but was just somewhat sarcastic, still genuinely amused though. "You ever been to the gorge before?" She asked first, bounding along side of Wahabu.

Wahabu took a moment to stretch out his legs, which were a bit cramped from being curled up for awhile as he dozed on the rock. Then he caught up to Elly to walk beside her, not so bothered by the fact she was a bit smaller than him- if anything, it made him feel even more comfortable.
"It can be pretty crowded here, there are lots of lions that live around here," he stated matter of factly, then he wondered about the kind of play that was dangerous in her home but not here and the gorge, "What kind of play to you like? I've seen the gorge, but I've never really climbed down or anything." What kind of things must the goddess of tornados like to do? He was certainly intrigued.

"Yeah, I don't think I've run into the same lion twice yet since we got here, except for the queen." She replied with a soft snort and amused smirk. "And all kinds of weird colors-- I saw one that was bright green! We don't have anyone those kind of colors back home. Just browns and black, white, blue, n' orange. Except for that hyena girl. She's purple."
As for actual play, well, sadly... she didn't play much. Ororo often tried getting her involved in games like tag, or hide and seek, but she found it terribly silly. She hadn't taken him up on a game yet, maybe someday though...
"Oh... well, I don't really know many games. What about you?"

"There are a lot of colors here, there are," Wahabu had to agree, "My baba is blue, kind of like the rings around my legs. I don't really know a lot of strange colored lions here, though." He tried to think of everyone he knew, his friends all seemed to be white- except Verdad, she was really brightly colored.
"I know some games," he replied thoughtfully, "Though I don't play them a lot. I don't really find someone to play with a lot, but I like hide and seek and racing." Wahabu thought about the game he'd played with K'A, which was like hide and seek, and the tree climbing race he'd had with Kubwa. Those definetely were a lot of fun! They were then, anyway.
