What in the world does Kawaii mean? Trying to take the meaning out of context, the best I can figure is it either means "How cute", "Sexy-ful-ness", or both. What is the definition?

It's "How cute!" fo' sure
kawaii-o ...(sp...no clue...it's just 'kawaii' with an 'oh' sound..so i'm guessing) means how pitiful!

That's kind of disturbing, considering some of the places I've seen people use it. I have the feeling that they aren't quite sure what it mean seither... Thanks so much! whee I finally am in the understanding!!

I don't think that's very many

kawai=scary
kitsune=fox
oni=demon
yuki=snow
ame=rain
hentai=pervert/to transform (dontcha love words with more than one meaning?)
kami=paper/god
akai=red
aoi=blue
shiroi=white
kuroi=black
gakko=school
neko=cat
koneko=kitten
inu=dog
just a few they may come in handy, if you want some help in japanese just ask me or baku (she's the smart one on this subject..)
