ROAD RACING.... In Nascar, it is rare (Off-Road especially... right Elliot Sadler? Rolls count!)
The first road race of the Nextel Cup season is Sonoma, aka Sears Point for us older folks. We see drivers that don't usually race in the full season, and a new breed of hopefuls emerge from the legends of the racing world. Guys like....
*looks at this year's entry list*
Tom Hubert, Ron Fellows (Ponza waves Canadian Flag with Corvette symbol on it), Brian Simo, John Borneman the 3rd, Scott Pruett, Boris Said, and Jose Luis Ramirez (he was the best Mexican finisher of the Busch race in Mexico).

Yeah well, if Boris hadn't been unlucky... Boris could have won.
BUT, Ron Fellows did something amazing. He started dead last and made a top 10 out of it. Good times.

i don't like road courses that much. especially since Kasey Kahne (my fav. driver) needs to get in the chase this year and isn't good at road ciurses. He coulsd have had a top 15 finish for once but the break was gone in the car. And at Sonoma YOU NEED THE BREAK. so he spun.

At Sonoma, you need ALL the pedals. Especially the clutch. Right, Meteora? mrgreen

actually, you don't need the clutch that much. you need the break more than anything. because without it you would spin out in every turn. OOO GOT TO GO HAVE TO WATCH BUD POLE QUALIFYING1!!!! HOPOE KASEY GET'S THE POLE.
