Taking a sip of her coffee, Tinania sits back as she looks out the bookshop window. It was the first time in months she was able to come back to this place. To many it was just a shop full of books, but to her this was heaven. She was able to read and feel at peace here.
Glancing down at her book she pulls her legs up into her chair as fixes her pastel pink sweater. Once she was comfortable again she sink back into her fantasy book about dragons.

Torvil was usually not one to venture into bookstores, in fact, it was rare, very rare indeed, but today, he'd felt a tugging at one particular one that day, and had entered, having felt the desire to maybe pick up something entertaining for a change, instead of the same old historical texts he had piled up back home.
Walking around slowly, he let his fingers idly run along the spines of several volumes of different texts, just sighing slightly as he took in the smell of the pages. Books held a special fasication for him, they had since he was young, he had read a lot, mainly as an escape from the harsh life his people often lead, the smell of print brought back wonderful memories of stories long forgotten. With a small smile, he grabbed a book, and pulled it from the shelf.
He opend it and flipped through a few pages skimming, chuckling a little as he read. Nodding, he closed it and went to the front to make a purchase, then moved over to the reading area, having not felt right about reading the book first without paying, he plopped down into a chair next to a young woman in a pink pastel sweater, who seemed to be rather familiar.
It took him a moment of really looking at her for his mind to click and give the face a name. "Hello Tinania,"

Tinania was so deep into her book she didn't even notice some sitting down next to her. It wasn't until she heard her name that she really look up. Smiling she leans over giving Torvil a hug "Hey Dad, wow and here I thought I wouldn't see you again after that morning in the clinic." placing a bookmark in the book she turns to face Torvil.
She miss getting a chance to talk to him, he was one of the few beside her cousin that understood her love for books. Pushing her hair from her face she smiles "How are you? It seems ages since I last talk to you."

"It has been ages Tinania," Torvil laughed slightly, not too loudly as to not distrub any other patrons of the store, as well, he was not one to bother people, not today.
"I would have hoped I would have seen you again, it has been far, far too long since we've really talked," He bowed his head a little, pulling his book aside so that it rested face down on his knee, marking his page. "How have you fared?" He smiled a warm, fatherly smile, he really did like Tinania, she was a sweet young girl.

Tinania chuckles pulling her knees up to her chest before laying her head on the back of the couch "Better then I was a couple of months ago. If I had seen you I wouldn't have known who you were. I lost my memory to an attack." with a shrug she decide to not go into anymore detail unless he ask.
"Other then that I'm doing well. Surion been hinting about having kids to me alot lately." she blushes then chuckles alittle as she looks out the window. The snow was falling once again, nothing bad. It reminded her alot about her first christmas.

Torvil frowned, "Yes, I heard of that, it gave Surion fits..." He said slightly, but let it drop, no sense pulling up trauma that was already dead.
"As to that..." Torvil waved his hand vaugely. "You both are still very young, and should not make the same mistake I did," He sighed, shaking his head slowly. "That is not to say that Surion was a mistake of course, it's just that... I had children before I was ready, and I have not done well enough by any of them, Surion the most."

Tinania nods before she smiles "I'm not ready for kids, I thought I was. But after my attack I realized I have too much I want to do before I have a child. I want kids, just not right now. I just don't know how to tell Surion, I know he'll be upset with me." sighing she lays her head on her knee feeling helpless on this matter.

Torvil watched Tinania for a moment, nodding his head slowly, "Well, you just have to tell him you're not ready yet, he should respect that, after all, if he truely loves you he will respect your wishes to not have children yet." Nodding his head slowly.
"Even if he is upset with you, he should repect your wishes." Waving his hand agian in a vauge motion, he shook his head again. "And do not falter if he gives you the, 'you don't love me or you would,' or if he tries to guilt you in any way, if he cannot, or will not respect your wishes to wait, then perhaps it is not meant to be." He bowed his head and sighed slightly.
"I have made a few mistakes in my life, Surion's mother was one of them, I know that now, but it is in the past, and something I care to not repeat. I would hope the same not happen to you, not that Surion is anything like his mother," He shook his head again slowly, and just frowned, waving his hand once more. "I apologize, I should not be speaking of your future mother-in-law in such a fashion, it would color your perception of her, and I would be no better than she in that respect." Yes, Torvil was a tad bitter.

Tinania shook her head then smile, she wasn't sure what had cause this break up. But she knew it had to be a big reason. With a small nod she smiles "Its alright Dad, your allowed to say what you wish. I will not pass judgement." she pauses for a moment thinking about what her father in law said.
She knew Surion love her, but she was just scared to lose him over children. She wanted kids, but she just didn't want them right now. Sighing she hid her face for a moment just thinking about the whole thing.

Torvil watched Tinania as a father watches one of his children in aguish, he wished he could help her more than he was, but there was only so much he could do all by his lonesome. He felt better that Tinania would not judge him for speaking his mind about his ex, but then, should he really? It just might help him get it off his chest.
"I have been thinking over what caused the split, and wondering if she ever really cared for me like I thought she did," He said gently, trying to not edge out Tinania's problem with his own. "I only asked that she work with me, and try to make it thorugh the tough times, to stay by my side and not freak out on me, perhaps I was asking too much of her, so much was going on that it went all to hell," He shook his head slowly. "But then, maybe I am biased, maybe I just didn't try hard enough. I believe I did everything in my power to help her, to make her understand. I treated her like a queen, and when I needed her support the most she vanished and she pushed me away." Shaking his head slowly he let out a long low sigh. "But as I said, I only asked she stay and help me, to be with me during my troubles."

Tinania frowns slightly before she nods, her face still remain hidden as she thought about the day she found out they split up. She was in shock as well as scared that it would happen to her. She was very much like Torvil as she was a very logical thinker. All she wanted was someone by her side, she has that in Surion.
What scared her was he was also very much like his mother, when he didn't get his way he got upset. Which in turn made her want to do what he wanted. Rubbing at her temples she groans alittle even more confused.

Torvil reached out and gently touched Tinania on the arm, smiling warmly. "Don't think to hard on it daughter, you'll bust a brain vessel, just remeber that he has to give as much as you, and in this case, you should not have to give to him. It's your womb, not his, and if you feel you are not ready for children, don't give yourself that complication, I agree with you, you both aren't ready for kids."
He kept his smile. "You're still young, enjoy that youth, don't sadle yourself like I did,"

Tinania smiles nodding alittle before she does the one thing she was never able to do as a child. Moving over she gives him a hug before laying her head on his shoulder "I think your a great dad if it means anything. When I didn't have my step father you were like a father to me if that means anything." pulling back she pulls her knees up to her chest once more.

"I tried, if anything, I hoped you would marry into our family, I've always wanted another daughter," Torvil chuckled lightly, giving Tinania's knee a gentle pat. "My two have long since grown, both with families, and both dont' talk to me as much as they used to. My first is far too busy mangaing her own affairs, I know not of the second," Shaking his head slowly he leans, back and sighs. "But it's of no consiquence," He chuckled and waved his hand again, letting it rest back on his own leg.
"I hope you can help Surion through his mother's and I's parting, I don't know how he is taking it, and I know he might need help dealing with the news of his grandparent's passing, I should have told him sooner, perhaps the day of their passing, but I did not know if he was dealing with his mother or not," Shaking his head he then shrugged. "Whatever she is doing nowdays,"

Tinania smiles nodding alittle "I still want to marry into the family father. I love Surion very much. I always will. He treated me like a queen if not more. Nothing will ever change that. And be prepare to see me more often, now that your back I will be trying to come find you. After all your still into magic right?" her wings flutter alittle as she falls quiet.
She would be there for Surion, he was there for her when she needed it the most. She didn't know what happen to her mother in law, but she figure if she needed to really know all she have to do is ask her mother. Looking up at her father she nods answering his questions on Surion.
