Who, in your opinion, was the best actor or actress in PGSM? Generally speaking (as Masuo Jun breaks this rule) the men were older than the girls, so I look at them separately.
Of the girls, I'd have to said that Hama Chisaki (Mercury) did a fantastic job. Of course, she got to explore a lot of aspects of her character (going evil and all) that the other girls didn't, which helps.
Of the guys, Kubodera Akira (Kunzite) hands down. I believe he had the most acting experience of the guys as well, so this probably had something to do with it.

I agree with that.

YouknowthoserumorsgoingaroundthatIlikeyou?
Yes, definitely. I also love Sugimoto-san's acting. She plays Beryl by the way. Anyway, I think it takes courage to move around in a dress like that.
Sometimes during the series, while watching Shibue Jyoji and Komatsu Ayaka I sort of wondered why I was watching it. Some parts I wanted to yell, "More emotion!" at my TV. But don't ask, I don't remember what right now. x3

Have you seen what kind of stuff Sugimoto does when she's not in PGSM? She probably feels incredibly covered in that dress. xd But I will agree than she made a wonderful Beryl and is a great actress. I recently watched one of her other movies, and she did a damn fine job in that as well, even though the content of that film was... um... questionable?
Keiko did a good job as well.
The part where she finds out that Minako died, then kicks youma a**, then screams "Minako!".
That really got me.

I try to stay away from that stuff. I've seen a couple of movies and such and was sort of creeped out. x3 But yeah, I think anyone would feel strange wearing such clothing on a show for children's eyes, that being the target age and all.
I think that was one of Keiko's best scenes. Not sure if this is much of a spoiler, but just to be safe: I liked the really intense scenes between her and her father. Tear jerking!

That too was good.
Anyone else feel that Myuu didn't get much opportunity to really shine?

Yeah, I felt that a little, but I don't think Makoto got to shine in the manga or anime much either. I mean they made fillers for her and there was a mini story for her, but sometimes it seems like she's out shined by the others or something, the character and I guess the actress as well.

It's sad, because I really like Makoto. Something they could go deeper in with her is her whole living on her own thing. I mean, that's gotta be tough for a 14 year old.

Yes, definitely. I don't think it's even legal to be living on your own at fourteen. They had Mako's love struggle episodes...sort of. More Motoki and Mako-chan stuff would be nice.

Like another *wedding special!*
That would be awesome. Those two are so cute together.

Yesh. I can imagine that being very comical, what withturtles and whatnot. x3
Suppose he'll: make her wear that costume?

I agree with both tear jerking scenes with Keiko. I have to say of all the actors and actresses on PGSM, she is the one I am the most in love with. Yeah, that sounds creepy. But she definitely makes me love Rei more. I also loved the times when Rei clashed with Minako over various issues.
All the stuff with Myuu I never thought of. Sure, i guess there could have been more, but anime and PGSM wise, I've always been satisfied with Makoto. I've always felt that it wa Ami who was always neglected. And that was corrected in PGSM *with Ami becoming Darkury, her fighting Usagi, clashing with Naru, and all her Nephrite interaction*.
As for the guys, I really like Yamaguchi Kappei's portrayal of Artemis. Not onc watching pGSM did I giggle and go, "He sounds so much like Inuyasha!" or "Hehehe, it's Ryuichi!". I've been so psyched about him playing Artemis.

@Gorgeous: xd
I can see a heavy green theme anyway.
@Solar: I was quite happy with Artemis as well.

Yamaguchi-san is my hero! He's so awesome.
He has so many different voices, yet when I heard Artemis' voice I yelled out, "Kappei!" and my roommate looked at me like I was crazy. One of the biggest differences in his voice is the one between L or Kudo Shinichi and Usopp. x3

I still have trouble hearing 'Artemis' when I hear L. He's quite talented.
