Well, last night i couldnt sleep, i think ive said before, but by about 5am i got so bored i decided to go watch some TV. Being 5am, only the news was on (im not rich enough for sky) But the news at that time was genuinely interesting. It wasnt bullshit about which FA member slept with a someone or which MP sold their soul to satan for political power, it was like, actual stories.
Like i heard the guy behind the KKK murders in Mississippi in 1966 (i think it was that year) finally got convicted of 3 counts of manslaughter. So if anyone's seen the Mississippi Burnings, THAT GUY finally got busted.
Also, the 5am presenter on channel 3 is crap, she ******** up like 3 stories and dropped her notes... well i laughed.

It was 1964, 1966 was when we won the world cup so any other news failed to filter into this country at all that year.
You watch BBC News 24 then?
Having Sky it's even better:
Once Aunty has finished & you've had all these people outraged that it took so long to bring him to justice & how wrong the KKK is.
You can then flip to Fox news, and watch equally outraged people saying it's unbelievable such an upstanding citizen could be linked with what was obviously some doped up hippies going missing in the 60s.
Or you can watch porn.

It was hard when we were without it.
Having said that at 5am most of the newscasters are much better looking that the Babecast girls.
At work we used to have a stranglehold on text porn having both channels (one of whom wanted to have their studio onsite but it was deemed bad for our reputation). Nowadays there a so many of them, some poor guy must have very sore genitals & huge phone bill.

I watch News 24 when it's on in the early hours on terrestrial TV. It's the only news I used to watch at Uni but now I catch it during the day too.

I think I got some sleep around then. I did watch some weird comedy film on BBC 2 about some black university student taking part in a science experiment to increase his senses.

I had my exam, so last night was the first night in a while I've slept, or at least been in bed.
The guy from the KKK was not convicted of manslaughter, he didn't kill anyone. He was convicted of orchestrating the killing of those 3. Wish people would pay attention.
I tend to end up watching the sign-zone on BBC 2 before it goes into teletext mode.

I heard, they couldn't put a charge to man slaughter because there was no proof as to him being there, and so he was charged with aiding and abetting because they know he had something to do with it. Or at least that was the last I heard of it on the news.

i watched the CNN coverage and they said that it was manslaughter, not murder.

Murder is intent to kill, manslaughter is the kind of "accidental" killing when they can't say outright that you did it. I guess i don't really care, it's in some hick-a** bit of America anyway.
