Cold breeze blew as the sun was out slightly. Only hours before, rain had taken almost most the snow. It was sad, yet happy at the same time. It ment that spring was coming soon. Snow melted into Spring. There was still snow here and there, but you could clearly see the grass and dirt under neath it.
Tohru smiled as her favorite season was just around the bend. It had been a long time since she got out for a walk. Normally she would walk with Yuki or Kyo, but they seemed busy today.
Her mane flowed beautifully in the wind as it passed by. Bow and clothing flopping around more as it did so. She had never ventured this far from the area where she lived, so it was a bit different.

After a few hours of wandering through the forest and mountains, Nalani decided to head back to meadows. It was a bit hard getting down from the mountain since there was much ice around and made things very slippery. As she made her way to the bottom, her attention was caught by the sight of a strange soquili in the distance. What was she wearing? Is that....clothes? The mare eyed the other's strange attire. How can she stand that?
Nalani called out a greeting the unknown mare. She didn't want her to go off somewhere without meeting her first. Quickly jumping over the last bit of ice on the trail, she trotted up closer to the newcomer. Being careful not to scare her off or anything, she slowed her pace to a walk.

Tohru stopped. Hearing something behind her and having a strange feeling like she was being followed she looked. Seeing another mare. Strange.. This one had no clothing on. Tohru's fur was the same color as a human. The other mare looked much like a lion and even had a lion... no tiger tail?
How odd. She then noticed wings and a horn. She had indeed wondered to fire. At first she was in aw at how beautiful the other mare looked. Finally, she smiled at the other mare. "Oh... Hello there."

Nalani had been staring at the other mare's odd clothing. She shook her head when she realized the mare was speaking to her. "Oh! Hello, forgive me for staring. My name is Nalani. I have never seen you around here. You must be new. Welcome." Once more she eyes her clothing. "I hope I do not sound rude, but may I ask....is that comfortable?" She did not understand why some soquili wore such things. Maybe it helped against the cold, but even without it they could witstand the temperature.

Blinking for a second before she looked down. That was the strangest question she was asked. She smiled and looked back up at the mare. "Yes. Though, I've really never gone... without them."
"Oh? Thank you." She wasn't exactly knew, well, to this area she was. Did they get alot of new horses or something? She only seemed to be surprised at the clothing. She giggled. She wondered how Yuki or Kyo would act if they were here.
"Your the first that I've ran into that doesn't have clothing on..." She added, hoping that didn't sound too offensive.

New soquili have been showing up in numbers and Nalani wondered why. These lands have been very peaceful and quiet, but now the arrivals of these strangers stirred up a lot of commotion.
Nalani thought of what the pretty mare had said."Oh? There are others with clothing? I would like to meet them one day." Nalani thought about how she would look wearing and clothes. "I think I would look really odd wearing anything." She paused for a moment before asking, "Doesn't it get hot for you under that attire? I can understand if it's cold out and it keeps you a bit warm, but what about if it's summer and really hot?"

She shook her head. It wasn't something she really thought about. Though, during the summer she'd have to see. "I... I really couldn't say." She said. She flicked her long tail off the ground, only to have it rest again in it.
"Oh... I'm Tohru Honda." She said, finally remembering to introduce herself.
