Ok, the last topic was meaning songs, on which you said once again, past the point of no return and down once more. Which is making me wonder, are you choosing the songs over the popularity or the most common?
My choice, is Masquerade. Why? What is a Masquerade? A gathering in which people may dress formal with half face masks. Now, if you want to go by the movie, fine, you can also go by the play. One of the lines in Masquerade, "Masquerade!Paper faces on parade . . .Masquerade!Hide your face,so the world will never find you!" Now, what does the phantom wear? A mask. A half face mask. And what does he say at the end of the movie? he repeats that very same line. After his mask is removed. I thought was very meaningful.
Now I do not know if you all like this, but I enjoy these small little questions to ask you and seeing the replys. If you would like the small challenges than I will continue. Let me know.

You're very right about that! Masquerade is actually basically the theme song for the movie, since Erik is hiding from the world behind his mask as in the song. It's not exactly the song that stirs the most emotions until Erik sings the line at the end, but it is definitly the themed song.
