The green grass weaved and moved about under the hot sun. Circles it went, this way and that way the grass weaved. The tall grass swayed in the wind as the weaving path paused.
"Ow..."
It moved again. Around and around it went. Suddenly a clearing opened up to her and she sat herself down, panting. Where was she? What was she doing out here? She wanted to go home...she wanted to be under the shade of the many trees of the jungle. He cauliflower pelt was not used to this, no not at all. She had gotten lost in this thicket of tall grass, now if only there was a tree here to climb up on and just rest there, but no...not from where she could see.
This was all his fault...all his fault. Amile had ran off without her and now she was lost too. Great. However, she could not hate him for long, no, he liked him as a close friend. He was kind and sweet, innocent, but caring. He carried many aspects of a fine male.
As she looked around, the little female cub grew frustrated.
"DADDY HELP ME!"
she called out in an attempt to call her father, a God. She once heard him say that if her mother needed him just call for him. Perhaps if she called he'd come. Well, here's hoping.

((Decided to go with Danganyo. :3 But if you ever need someone to save/protect/lead her anywhere, Gaewrn is always free as well, just lemme know. I just figured you didn't want her being helped home so quickly. XD))

-The cheetah yawn, streching his brown paws widely about from his body, lazily lifting his head, and then a paw to shield the sun from his sight.
He could hear shifting in the near distance, and he debated with himself whether or not he felt like seeing what it was. He was awfully comfortable already.. this cool little indention he'd dug into the soil was a nice repreive from the day. And it was probably some sort of prey animal anyway.
Laying his head back down he gave another wide yawn, ruffling his mane to try and hide the sun from his eyes.
But the shrill call snapped Danganyo's ears forward, and he grumbled gently. Lost prey animal? Wonderful.
Slipping to his feet once more, he quickly padded in the direction of the call, body nearly silent as he crept through the grasses. Until finally his head slipped from the grasses, paused as he spotted the oddly hued little creature. Not a prey animal at all. A cub?-

((Good point x3))
The female was startled by the sudden movements and shifting of the grass. Her body shivered violently being frightened of what it might be. Daddy was better at moving about, right? He could fly, so there was no need for the shifting grass, right? She played thoughts in her little head hoping it was him then it all stopped, the grass stopped. She turned around and saw another. She had never seen this sort of animal before. She had seen leopards, her mother, and lions, Kichea and her father (so she thinks). But what was this? Either way it was a male too! Her face light up instantly as she hopped off her rump and came straight over to him.
"Wow! Another one! What are you? Who are you?"
She attacked. The 'another one' comment was more of that he was another male. She quietly sat before him, her little pink tail curling around her paws as she looked up at him. She always tried to make herself presentable all thet ime.
"Hello, mister, can you help me out of here?"
She asked softly, her tone a bit of flirtatiousness. She smiled and purred quietly.

-An eyebrow cocked high as the little pastel creature acted against sense and began to near, air filling with the abounding of questions.-
"If I'm another, how can you not know what I am?" -He teased, more rhetorically then seriously, children after all, often said the weirdest things. And with a swish of his tail, one so similar to her own, he streched out for her to view his longer slender legs and body built for running, answering her question simply.- "A cheetah. King of the cheetahs in fact."
-Casting a wink her way he pulled himself up in a feigned idea of a regal pose.- "One shouldn't ask the name of royalty. But since I'm feeling generous today, it's Danganyo."
-Only finally did the thought of elder leopards hit him, and he turned his head gently, peering into the grasses around them. He wasn't in the mood for a fight, ecspecially not with one of his thicker massed cousins.- "Help you? Where are your parents little one?"

Limbua smiled and pulled herslef into a elegant and graceful posture she could muster. Her chest was out, her head was held up, her ears nicely laid, and her paws laced before her, her tail over them nicely.
"My name is Limbua, daughter of Hivu and....-uh- Daddy!"
She finished with a bit of hesitation. No one must know who her father was, they'd get strange ideas and treat her differently. She wanted to be known for her own self not her lineage to a God. Especially the only gentleman in this entire world. She was determined to make sure that everyone knew her name or at least some people.
"Royalty, huh? That's awesome. I guess that is why you are so handsome."
She purred softly as she moved closer to his side. He was handsome, his mane was nice and his fur was a nice color too. He really was king, if not, he should be. She purred softly.
"They're...." lie. lie! "sleeping right now. I just wanted to go off a little and got myself lost in this big place. Can a big, strong male help little me out?"

"I guess so." -He had to try not to laugh as he listened to the little cub. Either she'd been raised by parents with impecible manners, or with unabashed flirtation and affection. Either way, such adult words from one so little was nearly comical, and it made him actually debate on her request, instead of casting it aside like he usually would have.
Cubs were work and trouble after all.
Eyes drifting from his thoughts and downward to the cub as she moved close enough that he could feel the rumblings of her tiny purr he decided softly.- "Yeah sure, I guess I could help you." -Until I get bored of it of course. Eyes lifting to the savannah he pondered softly, this might actually be harder then he thought.- "What's it like where you live?"

"Well, where I'm from, there isn't a lot of grass like this place. Where I am from, wherever I was, I could see everything and anything. I have great balance, you know, and a pretty good hunter and climber too."
She purred, she was not completely lying though. She lived in a place where there was no grass like this. The grass in the jungle were short or covered by some other sort of vegitation. As for being able to see anything and everything, when she was up in the ssafety of the trees, she could. In fact she could sometimes peek up and see the clouds. That is if there was a nice sturdy branch up that high. Her home was the jungle. This was just a place she had never known, she was hoping to find Amile soon. However, on the bright side she could meet a lot more males too. The one before her was quite the male too.
She hopped to his side and kept a good close distance to him.
"What about you, Danganyo? Surely someone as nice as you must live in a place to get away from all those females, right?"
Innocent, no?

((Sorry for the delay dear *snugs* I know you've been trying to catch up with everything))
-He listened to the description thoughtfully, though of course it was very little help, and he cocked his brow quizically, answering her gloat with simple amusement.- "Is that so? Perhaps I'll let you hunt us down some lunch later then."
-His mind traced over the many places she could be talking about, having seen many of them in his trek across the savannah.- "Do you live in the desert perhaps? Or maybe near the mountains? Or perhaps in one of the rockier regions of the southlands?" -That's it.. it was probably the later of them.
His tail flicked softly as he watched her, trying hard to keep in this mind that this creature was indeed a child, and not just a tiny tiny adult.- "Danga is fine. Or Anyo"
-And he laughed, shaking his mane.- "On the contrary, I don't mind females at all. Seeing them at each place of port. But I travel alot anyway, and my pride has far more males then females."

[[It's alright.]]
Limbua chuckled and hopped along his side, purring happily to herself, almost a hum. She listened to the words that he spoke and watched him. He was so big and rather cute too. Maybe it was just his charm.
"Well, if you take me to a river, I would gladly hunt for us, Danga. As for where I am from, nowhere near where you are talkin' about. I'm from the jungle way over there," she spoke, looking back to the very very distant tree line of the vast jungle, her home. "But I am out here lookin' for someone."
SShe flicked her own tail and perked her ears forward. That was strange, what was a pride? Looking up to him again, she was determined to find out what a 'pride' is.
"What's a pride, Danga? I've never heard of it before. And if there are females there, wouldn't you want to be there to be with them and protect them?"

"Jungle..?" -Certainly not his first choice of places of go.. but luckily the cub didn't seem so keen on heading that way just yet, so instead he focused on her other request.- "A river huh? Yeah, I know one or two close by."
-Motioning, he turned gently to the east, taking very slow steps to make up for her tiny legs. Besides, slow steps meant no rush, no energy exersion. Ears perking lightly, she faltered for a moment.- "A pride? It's a group of people that live together. Usually they live in a set land, but my pride moves about."
-An amused chuckle touched him however at the later part. Protect? Indeed. There wasn't one girl out there that he'd risk his life for. Not that he'd met anyway.- "Those girls can take plenty good care of themselves. You have to be pretty tough to be in my pride. More often then not we're traveling alone or in tiny groups. gotta be strong enough to care for yourself." -Said Danganyo, Mr. Leach himself.-

Limbua chuckled. "Yup, the jungle, it's a nice place really. And the lake there....it's very pretty and just so-so beautiful. Not to mention the unique lions that you could meet there." the little cub smiled and remembered her father, Limbuko, and the Goddess that Kichea had mentioned once before. What was her name again? Kivu was it? She smiled and kept her eyes upon him. "If we go, I could try to catch a fish for you, Danga."
Her features seemed to brighten with the idea of a pride. It sounded really nice to be in one with other felines, other cubs to play with, fed with everyone else. "A pride....that seems really nice, Danga. A travelling one sounds pretty cool too, at least you all are together, right?"
Her ear twitched when she heard something crack behind her. Her fur bristled and her body instinctively moved toward the cheetah. She didn't know what it was, but she just felt better near a bigger, stronger, male to protect her. He would protect her right?

((Probably XD
Didja want to bring in another character? Or some random rogue/dangerous animal? I'm cool with it if you do want to.))
"There are some lions in my pride." -It was a matter of fact statement, more to keep the conversation going then anything, thought he added with an amused laugh.- "One of them even talks all funny. Something about 'This is the way pirates are SUPPOSED to talk'."
"Prides can be nice, when you get a lonely itch. Some of the members stick together constantly, but alot of us wander, and meet up back together from time to time. I like streching my feet, living off the land." -Aka mooching off of strangers that don't already know all his tricks. Not that the pride wasn't nice. But you saw a whole lot more and met way more people when you let the wind carry you solo.
His ears flicked upwards with the sound, eyes settling on the little one as she siddled up beside him, nose lifting to the try and catch the scent. Maybe it was something.. maybe it was nothing?-

[[Nah, I am good]]
Limbua flicked her tail and stayed close to the other male. Away from home like this, a stranger to these lands. If she went missing no one would know.... She was vulnerable.
"Well, a pride sounds like a big family and those to be with and protect. I would not mind going to one when I am older, I suppose. But for no... I got some things to do and some things to take care of, you know?"
She gave a hesitant purr that then became more confident. Her head looked around for the source of the noise and then swirved her head back.
"Some times I wonder if any place is safe on the ground...." she murred. "At least in the trees, I can see everything...."

-The trees.. He gazed at the little 'leopardess' curiously for a moment, pondering over the information. It would be neat to have an aerial view of something. So why was it that only leopards really got to take to the trees? He wondered if maybe he could convince someone he was a leopard?
Probably not though.. As much as he bulked his body and ruffled out his fur, he'd forever have these long cheetah legs. Not like that was a bad thing.. but still.. It was exciting to lie. To pull along a story for as long as you could, to watch the other person believe each word. And gently a coy smile played across his lips, pulling his own small lie across the little one once more.-
"Things to do sounds like a well enough plan. Being tied down isn't always the best. But when you do grow up, you could always join my pride. Being the king let's you let whoever you want in." -It was unlikely she'd ever find him again, find his pride to prove him wrong.- "We could use the color and skills I think. And I have final say anyway."

Limbua chuckled and smiled up at him. He was so sweet for offering such a thing. A king, he sounded nice, sweet, and somewhat noble. She dipped her head quickly.
"Thank you, sire, but I am only here to find someone close to me. After that, I am heading back home. I am sure my mother is worried about me. But thank you for the offer."
She purred and kept her pace close to his, her tail behind her and her head up high. She seemed almost untouchable, that feeling only because she had a 'king' beside her.
"I dun see myself ever leaving the forest, as long as my mother is alive and my father is well, I will always be with my family. But for now, I got a little journey to get out of the way. However, that shouldn't stop me from enjoying such..... gorgeous sights. You know? I think I've already seen one of them."
She chuckled and bounded a few paces ahead.
