"Luna" she said "I've taken the name Luna." He eyes fixed on mine. To gauge my reaction, I guess. Or seek my approval. What did it matter what I thought?
"Luna," she repeated softly, more to herslf than me. "Appropriate, wouldn't you say? A girl who can only be seen by moonlight?"
Rolling over I muttered "You're such a freakshow." Her hair splayed across my pillow, tickling my face.
"I know," she muttered in my ear. "but you love me, don't you?" Her lips grazed my cheek.
I swatted her away.
As I heard her slog across the floor towards my desk - where she'd unveil her makeup caddy in all it's glory - a sigh of resignation escaped my lips. Yeah, I loved her, I couldn't help it. She was my brother.

This book made me weep a thousand tears. I finished it in one and a half days. Cried. Reread it. Cried. Then made stephanie read it. She cried. Then I begrugingly returned it to the library.
