My Mom Made My Aunt And Uncle Talk To Me About Me And My Pc.
My Mom Is Worried About Me Getting On Too Long Etc. And Now They Want Me To Only Get Online Two And a Half Hours Maximum Every Day.
... Without Internet.
Heeeelllooo? What Can I Do On The Pc Without Farking Internet?

A lot of people are gettinhg that from parents/family this year. I'm always on skype with people, and my dad wants me to start sitting with them in the living room instead of in my room by myself. I can't talk to my friends while my parents are there. And he's started turning the modem off at night...

I think my parents gave up a LOOONG time ago, trying to get Ego and Scel to spend less time on the computer.
Mainly because Scel is not the kind of person you're going to try and convince to spend more time with them. Scel can turn into a real b***h if necessary.
But anyway... that suxxors. I shall weep for you.

My mom doesn't care. As long as I stay on the A or B honnor roll she is fine with me on the computer all the time. I also have no bed time because of my grades. So I'm stupid and go to bed at 2 or 3 every night. o.0
Maybe try telling your parents that you should be able to have as much computer time as long as you stay social in the real world and your grades keep high(that is if you have good grades). Just a sugestion..
Also..... My computer is in my room. So I can do what I want because, after all, it is my room. Ha, nothing she can do about that. :B

My parents tried. Failed. They got my counsellor to help try again. Failed.
I'm a geek, my life revolves around the computer.
To me it's the equivalent to a popular 16 year old girl's cell phone =l
But I have been getting a lot less time lately, too.
And the computer's in my room, because we have no where else to put it.
If I'm misbehaving, they take the internet away.

My parents jsut don't understand that I don't have a simple fear of phones. It's a god damned PHOBIA.

My mum wants me to be more like her. A selfish, immature brat.
All the computer stuff and videogames I was hoping for this year? No way.
Instead, I got enough clothes to last me all year. And they want to get me a cell phone.

So yeah, my parents hate my computer time, too.

I couldn't just sit here for two hours and write 2,ooo words. Not gonna happen. >___< But Mum didn't mind, I was doing something somewhat porductive. .___<;;;
Right now me and my sister are home alone, so they don't mind us staying on the PC all day, as long as we eat and feed the pets. xD That's how it is when we're home alone. There's three computers, and when it's just me and my sister there's more then enough PCs. xD
My Parents kinda have an issue with the PC now in my room. D: They want my door open because I can't hear them (Music's too loud xD), and apparently, I can't kick my sister out when I come in to get dressed/undressed. Okay, well I kick my sister out half the time anyways. xDDDD Not that she wants to be in my room anyways. sweatdrop I'm always tempted to ask them to get a new computer and hook my sister's room up (We have a network and stuffs, it's really neat. xD) and then we all can stay on and not have to kick anyone off. xDDDD But then I wouldn't see the light of day for monthes in the summer. xDDDDDD;;

MAN, sorry to hear that, parents are so silly some times. You should just let them do whatever, and then when you're not online, just sit around sulking, and then they'll feel bad. That's what I did the week they took away my laptop XD.
COURTNEY-- So you're telling me that the first time your parents told you that you were only allowed 2 hours on the computer you were like "YAY LIMITS ROCK!!!"... Unless it's been the same things since your family got the computer.
If my parents tried to tell me I was only allowed 2 hours, I would honestly laugh in the face. Then say "OK, 2 hours on each of my computers, that is 4 hours total. So why don't I just spend 4 hours on the desktop instead? After that I'll just go to my room, and then, well, I need to have the laptop on, otherwise I wouldn't know what time it is, and since it has wireless, I'll be on the internet. So really what's the point of only allowing me 4 hours on each of them, if the internet will always be on?"... sending them into a deep state of confusion, causing them to give up the argument ^^
