have play the game but i didnot lovet becaus of the traditional ff but i still recomend that the best ff for my in mi orther are 7, 8, x, and tacticks is good game it cold be beter

I don't know why people have such a grudge against the DoC...I have read countless reviews online like "oh, the gun controls are confusing" and "the enemies are dead stupid" to "you can't do all the super moves that he does in the animated sequences". Seriously tho like any gun game it ain't that difficult to control once you know how and wud you really want a dozen enemies that take a minute to kill all at once!?! No. And about his super moves - well wud the animated sequence be sooo cool if he did what we could do? Again no, its just like a limit break kinda thing he gets so annoyed at the enemy that he goes bonkers if you know what I mean. Yeah I'll admit that Square Enix cud have done a better job in making Vincent's environment more interactable (jumping down stairs for example rather than running down them as it makes you do/shooting all the barrels instead of the ones just marked cargo e.t.c.) but like i said you get used to it - plus it's pretty cool to point down the stairs as you run to shoot anybody down there and the indestructable things give enemies great hiding places without fear of you blasting away their defence. The linear way of getting from A to B is also quite helpful because you know you can explore all the little rooms that turn off without getting lost.

On the other hand it's cool that you get to find out more about the enigmatic Vincent! The graphics are to die for and the animated sequences are the same quality as Advent Children - fantastic. The gun customise function is totally amazing and you can design three guns at once and switch between them in game play by pressing the corrosponding button (R2 on the playstation).

There you go both sides of the argument, its up to you now to decide if you'd like it or not, but for me I love it. I think it lives up to the Final Fantasy 7 name more than enough and any fan wud love this to pieces.

P.S. sorry it was so long...I had some thing I needed to get off ma chest! sweatdrop

i love rpg and shooter games are ok im gonna go get it in a couple of days when i can get down. thanks for your inputs smile

I recently rented and beat it.
I found it was fun, even with all the cut scenes.
If you plan on getting it, it is a good game, though more of a rent then a buy.

I don't see how they could call that part of ff7. I know vincent is dark, but he's supposed to be a real hard-a**. none of this "I have a story to finish" crap!!!

I bought the game quite a sweet game but there are a few problems.. if you dont like shooting or sneaking or fighting games.. dont buy it. if u like a multiple selection of charactors... dont buy it because i think the only alternate is cait sith.. and u can only be him in one level... on the good sid it has pretty sweet game play and graphics ... i find it to be very easy..
and i think it's fun to play
