((*couldn't think of a clever title, so will edit when I do* xd )) Gwee the Kalona stood by the beach, looking down at her own reflection in the ocean below. Ah, she looked positively fearsome today. Perfect, she thought to herself as the tips of her long mane dropped into the water. Gwee flipped back her hair, tossing the hair to her other side as the water was tossed over her head. Gwee dipped one hoof into the water and smiled. The water was cool, a nice temperature for drinking on a hot day. Gwee took a sip of the water and frowned, the water was not that pure. A bit upset, Gwee blew fire into the water, watching the two opposing elements clash as the fire sizzles away. Just as she did so, her hair fell into the water once more. Great, thought Gwee sarcastically.

A fly buzzed throughout the trees of the forest and landed on something that... didn't seem quite like part of the forest. A lump of black hair and hints of white fur lay underneath a tree. His snoring was loud and apparent. As the fly landed on his nose that was poking out from behind a screen of ink black hair.
Zalifur awoke suddenly as he felt a slight tickle crawling up his muzzle. Snorting lazily and brushing away the fly with a flick of his mane, Zalifur opened up one cerulean blue eye. Looking at his surroundings, he was exhausted from the traveling he had done for the past few weeks. This new place seemed interesting, so he decided he would stay here for a bit. He would probably get bored and leave soon...
The stallion rose slowly from his sleeping position and stretched. How troublesome... He began to walk towards the beach that he had walked by earlier, dragging his feet as he went along. It was a wonder how he kept his fur as white as it was. His exceptionally long black hair dragged beside his hooves as his feet touched the sand.
He looked out at the beach and yawned tiredly.

Flicking her hair furiously back once more, Gwee cursed to herself in frustration. Getting her hair wet wasn't a big deal by any means, but Gwee never had the patience for tiny little faults in her day, especially when its caused by something she can't kill.
I hate my hair, thought Gwee as she turned her body around to get away from the water. The water wasn't fresh and only got her hair wet, there was no reason to stay near it. Now infront of Gwee was a stallion, undeniably beautiful stallion. His coat was perfectly white and his hair was perfectly black, kep so long yet perfectly styled.
Gwee rolled her eyes at the stallion, before giving him the chance to speak. She felt that this stallion may just be an annoyance to her. Nonetheless, something compelled Gwee to try and spark conversation. "Hello," said Gwee quickly and emotionless. She hated social scenarios, she found them uncomfortable. Her idea of a fun time with another is her watching her 'friend' be tortured.

Blinking, Zalifur wasn't quite sure how to respond. He'd seen a few other soquili in the distance but this was the first one that actually came up and talked to him. He knew he should say something but that required too much will-power for him. Yawning lazily, Zalifur continued to stare at her for a few moments then uttered a single word. "Hello."
He wasn't exactly a conversational type of soquili either. He'd much rather sleep then talk. From a distance, Zalifur's mane and tail might look somewhat elegant, but up close, it was easily seen that he did not really care for his appearences. Stray strands of hair were everywhere, making him look like he just woke up. The only reason his hair was so long was because he was too lazy to bother with it or cut it.

"So," said Gwee, still emotionless and monotone in her voice. She stared at the stallion before her and blinked stupidly, not quite sure what to say next. Gwee breathed in and breathed out, feeling an extremely akward moment occuring. She then gave a very important detail about herself that she hardly shares with anyone. "Gwee," she spat out akwardly. She introduced herself sharply, as if it was something other than her name. "It's my name; Gwee." She smiled for an instant, but instantly changed it back to a frown. Ugh, how she hated this situation. She stared at the stallion's mane, hoping her attention would drift elsewhere, make it easier to ignore the stallion himself. It's not that Gwee had anything truly against this stallion, its that she hates just about everybody.

Truly, Zalifur could care less. It was troublesome that this soquili find the time and need to talk to him. That required him to exert more energy then he actually wanted to exert. "Zalifur." He didn't even include that it was his name. He yawned again, sometimes he didn't even realize that he yawned so much. The particular stallion wasn't exactly evil or good, but he leaned towards the neutral side. It was difficult for him to really care about anything. For most of his life, he had been a loner. He preferred to get things done at his own pace and when he wanted to do it. Nobody told him what to do.
He continued to stare blankly at Gwee wondering when she would go away. He could be sleeping right now.

"Hi," she said, still akwardly. Oh, this was going nowhere fast. If Gwee wanted to talk, which she wasn't sure if she wanted, she'd need to try and make life interesting. "So...," Gwee paused. "Watch this." Gwee turned her head to the side a bit as she breathed out a tiny stream of fire. She then stopped and winked at the stallion, giving him a wicked smile as if he were her prey. Gwee only knew one type of smile; one type of social interaction. She knew the art of torture and intimidation, yes, she knew that all too well. Perhaps if she tried using her skills of intimidation in a manner that's, well, less intimidating, she may be able to find daily social skills. "Interesting, isn't it?" she questioned. The question wasn't actually rheotorical. She wasn't quite sure if it was interesting or not, most just found it terrifying as they usually only see her blow fire at them.

Raising a brow, Zalifur was wondering what the hell this kalona wanted. He wasn't saying anything interesting or anything really at all. She was trying too hard. The stallion was a loner for a reason and there has yet to be a soquili who truly got to know him. Perhaps on the inside he was actually a good soquili, but he wouldn't know since that's never happened before.
Zalifur yawned again, he was using too much energy in this conversation. "Hm. Not really." He just wanted to sleep, how boring this was...

What the hell am I doing here? thought Gwee. Slowly, this stallion began to get his way on Gwee's bad side. She had tried to make an effort, for once, to enhance her social skills. Instead, she faces social rejection from this stallion. Whether it was a personal attack and rejection to her, or just the stallion did not care about anyone was a question that Gwee just didn't have the answer too. "Are you afraid of me or something?" asked Gwee accusingly, now showing emotion of her inclining anger. "You should be." Gwee snarled at the stallion. Time to test her skills of intimidation, they never ceased to fail her. Perhaps intimidation and fear is what this stallion needs to become more lively.
[[Is he the sloth Soquili or something? xd He's awesome.]]

He continued to stare at her blankly. Wow, she was still here. He was sure his last comment would make her go away. Now this was really getting troublesome. What was he going to do if he couldn't get away from this soquili and would lose valuable sleeping time? It was already rare to find him awake and moving, and now he was actually talking. Everyday seemed to surprise him.
Another yawn escaped from his mouth, "Not really. Nothing really to be afraid of." He kept his sentences short and choppy. He didn't want to exert too much energy talking about senseless things. Usually things didn't get on his nerves, and he wasn't about to let one soquili do that. He felt indifferent about the world and really didn't... like to do anything.
((Hehe. Nah. He's just... very lazy? xD))

"Ugh," groaned Gwee, realizing the effort she is going to need to liven up the stallion and make her own day more interesting. Gwee spat out a flame from her mouth at Zalifur, in hopes that he will suddenly liven up to dodge the flame. Unsure if it worked, she then swooped up into the air, not looking down to see if her fiery plan of mischief was successful. As she soared higher and higher in to the sky, she smiled. In any second, she will swoop down for a suprise attack. Surely that well get a reaction out of Zalifur.

The flame hit his magnificent mane, and a small flicker of fire appeared dancing about a portion of his hair. Zalifur stared at it blankly and then gave a slight pause. He didn't even notice her taking to the air, and then he gave a soft puff and blew it out. How troublesome... Because his hair was already pitch black, it was scorched, but it wasn't too visible.
Finally he noticed that Gwee had disappeared. He looked up cautiously and saw her in the sky. Well... at least she was gone... The stallion moved over to a tree nearby the beach and curled up underneath it.

Gwee soared around in a wide arc overhead, travelling in a large loop. She tilted her head down, watching over the stallion below as he curled up under a tree. Gwee smiled and swooped down towards him. As she did so, she spat out a stream of fire, not directed to hit him, but to scare him. As she landed, only a few short feet in front of him, she skidded foward, kicking some sand towards him. She snarled as she swung her spikey tail around, stopping the tip near the stallion's face. "Hello, again," she said. She smiled wickedly at the stallion.

Hearing her hooves land on the ground, Zalifur gave a soft sigh. Here we go again... She was harder to get rid of then he expected. Usually, soquili got bored of him quickly so then once they left he could just go to sleep. That was nice... but times have obviously changed. He wasn't... scared of her persay, but he also wasn't fond of her. It was difficult to explain how he felt sometimes, thus made it difficult to get to know him.
"H-Hello." He yawned mid-sentence. The stallion had closed his eyes, but then he opened one to look at her with. He yawned again, or... maybe he should have just kept both eyes closed. Zalifur didn't even have the energy to tell her to go away.

Gwee groaned once more. How the hell did that NOT intimidate him at all? Why is he so unmoved!? "Fine, I get the hint," said Gwee angrily. She thought of killing the stallion, or severely injuring him. Doing something to him to teach a lesson, but Gwee herself wasn't feeling lively enough to give the effort. "I'll just head home if that's what you want, you can just sit here and sorrow by yourself, never meet anyone new." Gwee rolled her eyes and spat puff of fire at him as she began to fly away.
