okay everybody! I just finished watching "fear her" and theres a bit of conversation where he admits to being a dad once.
...However, Ive been reading something about a loom, and other things...but that would imply that time lords cant be dads.
in a different episode "New Earth" when cassendra takes over his body, she makes a remark about the parts...human parts? Its very confounding.
also, in "the Doctor Dances" he says that hes been around a bit...
Ive also heard that hes half human. Please help me on this?

Its very confounding. also, in "the Doctor Dances" he says that hes been around a bit... Ive also heard that hes half human. Please help me on this? Yes, in the 8th Doctor movie he admits to being half human on his mothers side, and the master goes on about all this crap about his iris being diferent so he's not pure timelord. And since Susan is his grandaughter, it kind of figures he was a father, once. Though its a bit odd we never got to meet his son, maybe something happened... And, if you think about it, if the doctor is half human on his mothers side, then he must have had a natural birth and have human DNA and be able to reproduce. But there is some specualtion to whether the Doctor is actually half human, as it hasn't been brought up much. I quite like the idea though.

Smigg-the-Miserable Susan was his granddaughter, and a companion during the Doctor's first incarnation. Yeah, one of the very original companions... along with Ian and Barbra... ahh, memories.

darkmariel oookay....so there was more than just Sarah Jane and Rose.... I really need to watch the old sieries... Susan Foreman was the Doctor's first companion. Both Susan and the Doctor fled Gallifrey after stealing a rundown and obsolete Type 40 TARDIS (that's right, the TARDIS was actually stolen xd ), which resulted in the Doctor being a wanted man by the Time Lords for his first two incarnations and an exiled prisoner on Earth for a good chunk of his third incarnation. Whether Susan is a Time Lady and capable of regeneration like Romana is up to some debate amongst fans. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Foreman

darkmariel oookay....so there was more than just Sarah Jane and Rose.... I really need to watch the old sieries... Just Sarah and Rose????????????? Woah, you REALLY need to watch the old series. There were SO MANY, some alien, ... even one was a savage, though I can't remember her name. He even had a Time Lord companion for a while there. Yep, he's had LOADS of companions. Hey, didn't the Time Lords give the Doctor something... like, a gift or something, when he was... um, wow its been so long since I've watched the old series, but when the Doctor was ah, no longer exiled, I seem to remember the Time Lords giving him something to ah, apologise or something or... *strains memory* I'm really not sure.

They've made him leader of the high council twice, they gave him back the component to travel to different times and worlds which they'd taken from the third doctor to strand him on earth at the end of the three doctors I think... My memory is kind of really bad. MARVEL AT MY DW KNOWLEDGE!! twisted sorry for the randomness. Declare pissworm for the new year pirate rofl

Oh, and the looms were from the non-canon (probably) novel Lungbarrow. Marvel at my Doctor Who knowledge!
