Lordi's lead singer, Mr Lordi (real name: Tomi Putaansuu) vehemently denies that his band are satanists. "We have absolutely nothing to do with devil worship," he says. "I mean, Hard Rock Hallelujah! Would a satanic band write a song title like that? No. Our second single was called The Devil Is a Loser. Although we are not a gospel band, either."

So are they christian or not?

i think they havent either chose wheter to write christian or devilish songs...maybe. It seems that they are picking as they wont, changin some stuff and using some. I dont really get their point actually xP. Lordi gonna be playing in my town this month :O, and im very happy that i didnt buy any tickets stare

Umm
I say 50/50.
The Lyrics are christian,they talk about the bible,and nor do they cuss.
But the Guitar and there voice levels make them sound demonic.

That was a very interesting music video...the hard rock one.

Nick...the guitar and the lead singers voice were not demonic at all. There are MANY christian bands *that really are christian* that put their "scary" sounds to shame.

defintly not christian band. If you listen to the lyrics and watch the music video...it's embracing angels and demons.

and also... just because they sound demonic doesnt mean they are
