I got the new Merry book and read it. I wanted to see if anyone else had read it yet too. (Also beware because there will be spoilers in this thread.)

Beware ...... Spoilers
I was really surprised that the Queen is sending Merry back to California. I did not expect that at all. I love that the Sithen is responding so much to Merry. I am sooooooo shocked about Cel being let loose. I am very scared for Merry now. I am also very scared that Mistral is going to be the one that gets Merry pregnant. Because you know she is going to want to save him somehow and that is the only way I can see her getting him away from the Queen.

Anywho, I'm not surprised the queen let Merry leave. If she didn't and Merry dies it'll she'll loose face. For the longest time I wanted Cel loose and it was short lived. I wished he made at least one attemt on her life or at least speak to her. I wonder what Merry is going to do while she's in LA again.

It was originally 6 months...I believe it has been...2?

At first I didn't like it...they made people randomly disappear and Sholto out to be mean! Sholto is one of my favorites...I like how it resolved it all. I wasn't suprised at their move back to CA. I knew it would have to happen eventually...

That's what a few others told me who are obsessed with this series. I mean when you think of it, it is more erotica than anything else, with good plots.

Meh, she's been a lot more graphic with sex scenes in Anita.
LK, needs to give us some ******** "fore play" again for once. I'm getting a really tired of, "Hey! We need to go have sex!"
Other than that, once I got toward the last half of the book, I enjoyed it a lot more because something was actually happening. Did they make Black Agnes pretty? I think it kind of hinted it. That'll be interesting. And shouldn't Merry go somewhere a little less obvious than LA?
Don't get me wrong, I did like this book.

Yes, I assume they made her sidhe pretty. Merry's home and friends are in LA. Even if they did move, they would have to go there first to get their things.

I liked the book, but it was way too short.
As a Doyle fanatic, I was all happy overjoyed with her little inner monologue about who her favorite is. mrgreen *woot woot*
And I LOVED the puppies. I've been saying for years that I wanted to see Doyle gambol with puppies. (puppies, for me = hell hounds, or whatever else she called the big doggies)
The thing with the Wild Hunt was cool, and Cel getting out was nifty. I was kind of intrigued when he called her name, though. I'm wondering if that will become important later on.
And I'm glad they're back in Cali. ^_^ State pride! *cough*
