Help the Santas!
Go to the Xmas Event Page and pick your Santa! You can choose to help the Zurg Santa or the real Santa (who happens to be a cow). Whichever Santa you pick will pass you a gift for you to distribute to another Gaian.
Return to the Xmas Forum and find someone who needs a gift! Click the "Give Gift" button under a Gaian's avatar to give them a gift. You can't give yourself a gift, and you can't give the same person a gift more than once.
Wait a few minutes, and then go back to the Xmas Event Page to pick up another gift to give away. For every five gifts you give out, you'll get a special Xmas item! The items you receive will depend on which Santa you're helping.
Let's Go Caroling!
You can sing a song of joy to earn some items!
There are two ways to go caroling:
You can hit up Gaia's shops and sing to the shopkeepers! After you've caroled at all 10 shops, you'll be awarded a special item. Wait a while, and try caroling again-- there are eight different items to earn.
You can go caroling in Towns, too! Just walk up to a house and click the book of music. Once you've caroled enough houses, you'll receive a special item. Remember, there are eight items in all, so keep at it!

Ok, I have a few questions. What are the items we get and how much are we worth? How many presents do you need to get in the town to get an item? What's in the gifts that you get from Zurg and Cow santa?

I'm excited about this event! Too bad the caroling in the towns is a bit glitched right now. oh well, it'll be fixed in a bit.

dang it! i'd totally give you a gift, Zach, but it seems to only work in the christmas forums even though we have the banners under our avis in all of the other forums too. sad

I haven't made too much gold. things don't seem to be working for me, at least, the picking up our earned gifts don't work. although it does work when you go into the christmas forums and get things by giving gifts to people in there in 4 minute intervals. but jack won't give me my caroling gift and the towns won't give me my caroling cheer gift either.

Every 3 minutes, you go to a different store and carol. Go to ten stores and then get a box when you visit the 11th. Sell the boxes in all of the accounts to get a lot of gold.

Yes you can, but they will not come in the same order, but random. After you finish the set and you carol again, you might get box 3 instead of 1. But yes, you can still get the items after you get one set.
